A 4" figure uses about the same manpower as a 6" figure with similar articulation and paint apps. Labor costs has risen to the point that they make greater profits from 6" figures. Even Hasbro is struggling to put out 3.75" toys.

Why is it that both SHF and Mafex got the Supes HS wrong? Pics of Supes were available early on with the hair parted the opposite way and a more optimistic face, both brands are still sporting BVS faces.

Do you even know "anecdotal" is a real life word?

As someone who has been collecting the line for over a decade, I have tiny figures with tini-tiny joints made of clear plastic and have never had a problem with them since they came out.
I can understand how people can break them, but it's very easy to avoid. Just move the limbs carefully when they're new and you're pretty much done. I've actually forced the joints on figures to extend the range without any problem.

My cousin has this in his collection and I just felt bad for Micheal Turner dude.

I'm hugely invested in getting GOOD figures that are at least on PAR with what Hasbro is releasing. Since Mattel fails at this, I'm very glad they're not releasing much anymore and i hope they lose the license.

The DC Films Superman is probably the best overall figure, but on a pure aesthetic level I love the NECA Superman from the Muhammad Ali 2-pack. The articulation isn't spectacular but he's as good looking a Superman figure as we've ever gotten.

But I POed the figuarts cuz the sculpt looked ok, and I'm familiar with the line.

Her upcoming Mezco figure looks like it'll be pretty good too but I don't feel like shelling out 80+ bux for a figure of her.

I saw that some people had issues with her MAFEX, that turned me away from it as a possibility.

I was going to get her DC collectibles figure, but I'm not familiar with the line and I think they might be bigger than the average 1:12 figure? Either way I think I missed the boat on that one. No body even talks about that figure on here.

There's a LOT that can be said of the figure, but I think the oddest sculpted aspect is the knees. You have blobby as fuck areas above and below the knee joint, that look like they were sculpted to accommodate and seat a joint that is like twice as big. She just ends up looking like one of those people that lost a shit ton of weight and now they're saddled with huge deposits of loose dangling skin that bunch up in weird places.

I have her, and the sculpt really doesn't lend towards posability, which is a shame cuz she has a ton of it surprisingly. Her range of motion is good stuff, and the dress doesn't really get in the way at all.

Going to the sculpt issues, her bicep swivel doesn't work well, her knees can't straighten out completely due to the knee-cap, and the ankles are so plump that the feet just pop off the joint at the slightest provocation.

Overall just an average figure, but the extra harley head for the first harley quinn is nice.

Mezco's BvS batman is still pretty good; its gonna age hard, I'm sure, but Its a solid figure even if its got some rough edges as Mezco evens out their whole engineering and design.

As a Nolan Batfag, I'm actually happy that Medicom seem to be putting so much in their lineup especially compared to Bandai. Yeah yeah, prototype vs final product usually varies, but I'm just happy we're getting a Cillian Murphy head sculpt for ol' Crane.

That's such a shame. Her work was really good. DCD/DCC just has too many fuckups in their management hierarchy. They had a slam dunk with Batman Animated but fucked it up at every turn.

The box set with Ivy and Freeze in it was the last straw for me. I was collecting them carded (doubles, calm down rippers) so being stuck with a box really pissed me off. So they used the box as an excuse to jack up the price and stuff Montoya in there. When it wasn't selling, suddenly Commissioner Gordon was included too...except it's the same fucking toy I bought a few waves before. Why would I want another? Just release them as singles you assholes.

I ordered the Figuarts Batman because it is the best 1/12 TDK trilogy batman as of now. Mafex looks promising too, even comes with an extra head (3 in total) and the EMP gun used in TDK rises. Just hoping the final product won't be shit.

I currently preordered the entire Nolanman Mafex line except Catwoman and Batman Begins Suit.
These look so great and uniform. I dislike how Banes naked arms look, Scarecrow could have used an option of having the suit closed or open (as in just leave the layer in the front open) and Harveys unburnt trousers are weird but the rest is so spot on, I really hope I won't regret it due to QC.
