where's the best place to buy hot toys? i need this huge fucker in my life
i've dealt with sideshow, and having a payment plan is nice, but they ship out pretty slowly.
i'm not getting this version of thor, but throwing in a demon head on a chain is a pretty good incentive
Really wish we could get some more movie figures from HT. Love Mcfly but want to see someone like Road Warrior mad max

Just go with sideshow. Slow shipping sure, but it's the best option.

Apparently the Road Warrior license is being withheld from every toy company. I forget the details.
Have the problems with rubber skins been dealt?
>>6446272
i haven't heard any issues since chris redfield
i imagine they've been addressed

No kidding. I wonder if thats why theres no good fury road figures either.

Unless you go with a contact in Hong Kong(which you might actually find on Sideshow's forums), any American retailer is going to wait until sideshow send their stock out, anyway.
I know you don't want to wait, but Hot toys Hulks are infamous shelfwarmers; and you can get them for cheap after a while. I got avengers Hulk for just $240 a few months ago.

did both avengers and AOU hulks shelfwarm?
picking up gladiator hulk for sub $300 would be amazing, but it seems so far off.
and i think people are gonna respond more positively to this design

Not sure about Avengers hulk, though he can be found for decent prices, but AoU Hulk did shelfwarm.
The thing is, the aftermarket is always alive with these big figures because they eat up so much space. For those of us who just want one or two big centerpieces, its nice, but there are people who buy 3+ Hot toys a month, and they run out of room fast. And while the design is cool, its very niche.A lot of HT collectors go for the "definitive" version of a character, especially this deep into the MCU, so I think that's going to scare a lot of people away. Unless this design sees reuse in Infinity wars, which I doubt.

buying secondhand is something i'm pretty wary of. i know that serious collectors are gonna put on the kid gloves and take care of their investment, but buying used always invites "what if?"
anyways, hopefully gladiator thor turns out good too so i can have a set from that movie just like my cap and tony civil war set.

Mind you this design is a nod to Planet Hulk, one of, if not the most popular Hulk stories and it's likely to be the only Planet Hulk figure to ever get 1/6 treatment.
I think it'll do better than the first two.

Looks like this thread is pretty quiet now but does anyone know how the payment plan works?
>>6448013
i've done payment plans on 2 figures
you put a deposit down and then every month you pay a portion of the total. you can stretch it out longer if the figure won't be released for a while, and you can pay off the remaining balance at any time.
they only ship the figure when you've finished paying it off, but won't hold it for more than a few months, at least form what i've experienced.
>>6448018
okay cool. There isn't any interest build to it?
>>6448022
no, it's the normal amount, spread out over time
>>6448023
Ah sweet. Thanks for the info anon I think you just made me a hot toy fan.

Virtual toys makes some. Max is nearly perfect.
Does the inferno ver. Raiden have the same shitty cheap elbows like the regular does? The figure is so god damn beautiful, even in red, but I don't want to deal with defects.
>>6445251
Wonder why the face is blurred out.
>>6459555
Maybe because it will change before release.
>>6459098
Yea
i was gonna ask if a hulk, thor, iron man, and cap could fit on one shelf in a detolf, then found this
hulk is big as fuck, goddamn
