HFTD has the coolest vehicle modes, fun transformations, and a ton of original bots. They interacted with eachother and had that awesome gun peg system.
Highbrow has light blue paint completely covering his bottom, it's awesome plain camo. He's so cool
What the FUCK happened.
>>6444063
We adapted, changed, we... Transformed.
If you didn't get Valvotron, you missed out.
>>6444089
Looks awful DESU. They even stuck a trademark next to the Autobot symbol.
>>6444089
>shit stupid figure
I didn't miss a thing niggs

>tfw it looks like the only body that matches her colors is Skullsmasher

First i've seen of this, what the fuck?

Get an $80 oil change and get this brick
>>6444130
Christ, does it transform into a quart of motor oil too?
>>6444136
The kibble suggest that, but its only movement is arm swivels. I would get it but I go to a local mechanic
>>6444144
>doesn't even transform
Well then what's the point?
>>6444147
the point is to put shitty synthetic oil in your car, duh
>>6444153
You didn't tell me I could win a free lunchbox, now I'm second-guessing myself.
>& more
what did they mean by this?
>>6444089
Missed out on what, Having my money parted from me for an overpriced piece of plastic?
No thank you.
>>6444063
>What the FUCK happened.
Hasbro slashed budgets across the board.
Here's my mp10 problem from the last thread. I can't seem to close the left chest piece fully as it just relies on friction it just stays out. Any advice here? Also a giant bummer that there's already diecast scratch on the front bumper.
I'll probably replace this if I ever see one at TRU again.
>>6444184
Fucking gottem
>>6444170 diecast
I meant chrome my bad.
>>6444063
i odnt do transformers and im a full time lurker but
what bot is that? got a serious crimson skies vibe
>>6444184
>There is no downside.
The downside is that you've got a crappy-looking lump of plastic cluttering up your house.
And you had to put yourself through the inconvenience of buying two containers of oil and subsequently returning them.
>>6444209
Highbrow! He came out in a movie line between movies and was fantastic. He has a really great vehicle.
He goes for around $30
>>6444217
>being this mad
You're definitely fat. I'm surprised you don't like this figure considering there is nothing for your fat fucking fingers to fuck up and break.
>>6444225

Hunt for the Decepticons Highbrow. I wish I had him, he looks amazing.
>>6444209

>>6444170
try flipping the matrix
>>6444229
Not mad - just a bit sorry for you given the degree of delusion you seem to be suffering in thinking this figure is worth the effort you went to. And I have a normal BMI for someone of my weight and height, thanks for asking.
>>6444170
>Also a giant bummer that there's already diecast scratch on the front bumper.
You can try a chrome pen to touch it up.
>>6444268
You sound so fucking cringy, anon.
I wish the minicons weren't so expensive
>>6444290
No idea. You can get'em off Amazon I know that much. "Moltow liquid chrome marker" is the only brand I know of, but theres probably others.
TR Gnaw is really hard to get your hands on here, is it actually worth the trouble and money?
I think the shark mode is fantastic, but the robot mode is absolute garbage.
>>6444323
Not really, unless you plan on getting a small pack of them. I bought one and didn't really need to, in retrospect.
>>6444323
I can't say I'd recommend going out of your way for a toy you only like half of, but everyone just leaves him in shark mode forever anyway
>>6444320
Thanks again! I'll probably order it if I don't see it at Michaels tomorrow.
>>6444275
Also thanks again for that tip. It helped a little bit but it seems like the pins on the windows are misaligned. I'll probably just replace him if I see another at a local TRU.
So we're getting a new Battletrap that's made out of two different vehicles? Does that meant Flywheels has a chance?
>>6444351
>different vehicles
I meant two different robots.
Why does no where online sell TF4 Deluxe drift in the UK
>>6444347
You should know it's pretty rare for MP10's windows to shut perfectly. Unless you check them in store you're trading random QC for random QC
>>6444323
Honestly I love the little guys, but I got both of mine for MSRP. I probably wouldn't pay above MSRP by more than a dollar or two for any official Legends figure.
>>6444358
I actually had no idea till I looked it up.
I'm more bummed about the bumper honestly but that's an issue that can be easily remedied
Looking back I probably lucked out with all the qc problems it usually has.
>>6444347
I am behind the curve, are they doing another release of MP10 at tur?
>>6444323
>Shit arms
>No thigh swivels
>Awkward robot proportions
>Massive amount of paint on translucent plastic that ends up on the legs just so the Beast mode has clear green eyes
That thing is a disaster. Literally only good for the altmode, and rven then the robot mode arms hurt it. I'm sure there are third party options that are way better. Shit, I might even go so far to say the G1 was better.
>>6444130
>Get an $80 oil change and get this brick
Valvoline oil changes are like $20 with a coupon.
Anyone do me a favor? Can someone post TR Flywheels if you bought it from wave 2? I heard they had an assembly error, and I want to see if the wave 4 version fixed that issue.
>>6444375
Wrong he's never gotten a good toy. Also he's not good. He's a shit design.
>>6444375
But gosh is the sharkticon mode fun to play with. Those little gremlin bastards are adorable.
Is Sharkticon worth 10 dollars for just the altmode?
I think the robot mode looks like hot garbage.
>>6444382
>>6444384
Ten bucks? Fuck yeah. More than that? I dunno. I don't think the robot mode is really that bad, but that's just me, and I understand the complaints about the arm aesthetics, but they're poseable as hell in both modes.
Anon looking for UW Computron, Ebay has him for 167, and it includes the PE parts. This type of deal is rare so jump on it.
>>6444209
>crimson skies
My nigga.
>>6444385
This picture really needs a Ninja Turtle peeking out in the background to complete it.
Trying to set up some toy shelves in non-autistic, non-clusterfuck ways. Thoughts on these transformers cubes?
>>6444400
Nice numbers. Cubes look okay, my pack rat nature sees a lot of empty space though. Don't listen to me, though. There's a value to negative space, too.
>>6444371
Hasbro reissued him at SDCC earlier and most TRU's should be stocking them soon which I got this morning.
>>6444369
His arms are pretty shit, but I love the robot mode.
He just looks like a mean chubby little fella. Like a robot Eric Cartman or something.
>>6444405
never noticed he had a blue crotch
>>6444379
Don't have a camera on me at the moment, but I'm the guy that got a fuck ton of Skythreads, and they're from wave 4. Comparing pics, this one fixed the thigh issue like the Takara version.
Just got my evolution 2 pack. Bretty nice.

>>6444414

>>6444432
AAAAAND I fudged up the pics.
Hopefully these pics aren't screwed up. Orion is nice.
>>6444434
I skipped Kup the other day because I thought the mold looked like shit, how is that Orion? I like mine and can't imagine it getting better than this.
>>6444439
Honestly, I think the mold works better due to the vehicle mode feeling more cybertronian, and the robot mode....is kind of like the G1 guy I guess? Also robot mode pics.
>>6444440
>that Orion Pax face
Goddamn, that's almost Funpub tier. Bravo, John.
>>6444230
Got one for $15 at TFCon a few weeks ago.
Unfortunately one of the rotors is busted.
>>6444442
Optimus looks weird without his facemask. I couldn't get into Animated because of that.
>>6444440
I feel we could get some kind of Beta/ Alpha meme going on.
>>6444442
Yeah, it only gets worse, luckily the titan master looks nice. Optimus has a bit of sprue marks, and my box had some wierd stuff on it. Eh, It's fie, Two deluxes for 30 bucks? Ok.
>>6444439
The Kup mould does indeed look like shit, for Kup. For other robots who don't have his eye searing green or crappy blocky arms where Kup should have smooth arms, it's not bad.
>>6444440
He's not too bad, looks way better in those colors than Kup's. WfC Prime's plastic looks shiny though, like it's not the same as the first run of that mold.
>>6444452
It's a metallic plastic. But still kinda shiny.
>>6444439
The T30 would've worked better as a pre-steriods-Captain-America version of WFC Prime.
>>6444450
The main issue with Kup is that it's meant to represent his IDW body (mostly during his AHM phase), but they failed to capture his face from that era, and colors.
>forced headmasters are finally gone

I'd be really surprised if names like Sinnertwin and Cutthroat actually make it to retail.
>>6444485
>>6444486
Did Sinnertwin not get used for the Prime toy.
>>6444494
No it was Twinstrike or some such rubbish.
>>6444472
What's with the 2 leader Optimus Prime?
>>6444494
Nah, they called him Twinstrike in that line. If they called him Dual-Vice or something equally dumb it'd make no difference, we know who he is.
>>6444486
Cutthroat isn't that bad. Pirates are still child friendly enough that the only thing preventing it would be trademark issues.
Sinnertwin's of course not being used since it wasn't last time.
>>6444501
It means the exact same toy is being packed for two waves.
>>6444502
What Hot Wheels is that? It looks familiar.
>>6444506
What's even wrong with using that name? Everyone knows what a Sin is.
>>6444510
in one hand it's good because the people that miss the first wave are going to get another chance
on the other it's just a slap in the face honestly
>>6444481
I have no idea either, just saved it from the previous thread because it's kinda cute.
Am I doing this combiner thing right?
>>6444519
I don't mind repacks either, but it's a huge issue if they come right after the first release since they'll just clutter shelves. I have a feeling I'll see Rodimus for years, like the two Leader Skywarps my local Walmart still has
>>6444518
Problem is it's too "edgy" a name for a kid's toyline nowadays. Kinda like how they changed Gutcruncher to Sparkcrusher years back.
>>6444518
The children, anon. Someone must think of the legions of children who don't even buy toys these days but must be protected by something as triggering as the name Sinnertwin.
>>6444521
twenty years from now transformers fans will still tell the tale of the top secret hasbro rocket that took all of the unsold betatron figures away from this planet

>>6444358
>You should know it's pretty rare for MP10's windows to shut perfectly.
Not if you get the Takara version.
>>6444540
Nope, they've been at 47 for over a fucking year.
>>6444528
>Sinnertwin
Careful anon. I usually read these threads out loud to my kids for story time but I'm going to have to stop if you keep using language like that.
>>6444551
Mr. Sinister was always one of my favorite X-villians. The Sinister Six are Spider-Man's best rogues.
>>6444554
Not to mention Mister Sinister gets sold no problem, hell, Carnage as well.
>>6444540
Fuck no, Walmart never clearances anything
>>6444557
Boo-hoo.
>>6444556
What? They have a whole clearance section. I got the 12 inch marvel legends iron Man and Spidey for 13 bucks each.
>>6444556
They just had the huge Rex AT-TE set for 25 a few weeks ago, they just refuse to get rid of Skywarp.
>>6444512
It's the datsun 200 sx
It's delightfully ugly with the 70's porn stripes
How do I fix the ratchet in his arm?
>>6444472
>Deluxe Dinobots
It's like they aren't even trying.
>>6444568
Holy crap, I have that one, the stripes have been lost to time though.
>>6444561
You're right, they do tend to throw Marvel Legends on clearance after a few years, but that's really it for toys at my Walmarts.
>>6444518
The only one I think makes any remote amount of sense is Skullcruncher to Skullsmasher, presumably because cannibalism is a step above bludgeoning someone to death remorselessly.
I'm opening one figure each month in an attempt to fix my retarded habits.
I have Shit Piece, Cuck Rod, Berkeley, Jump Man, and Loss; all from Titans Return. Which one should I open?
>>6444594
I admit I never got the "All the dinobots MUST be fuckhuge" thing to start with but if Snarl, Swoop, Slug and Sludge being deluxes also means they're combiner limbs for Grimlock then i'm an additional 50% okay with it over the 100% caused by "JUST GIVE US A GOOD GRIMLOCK THAT'S AT LEAST VOYAGER SIZED FOR FUCK'S SAKE"
>>6444600
Yeah that's actually what i was thinking right after i posted that comment. I check that clearance section every time i go to Walmart which is fairly often and they never have anything decent. I only got those figures because i was stalking them on brickseek. Don't think I've ever seen a transformer on clearance there.
>>6444242

T
>>6444604
Cuck rod for sure.
>>6444606
>I admit I never got the "All the dinobots MUST be fuckhuge" thing to start
Their whole shtick is their size and ability to dominate any battle they walk into, even matching up against combiners without the ability to combine themselves.
Making them Deluxe strips away what actually made them special.
>>6444594
Not really an issue for most of them, Slag, Swoop, and Snarl being deluxe sized made sense, and Grimlock being a voyager isn't a bad thing either, the only real issue is Sludge, and I can forgive one of them not being big enough.
>>6444611
>>one hundred fucking dollars
>support local business
It's like they literally want to go out of business. A $20 figure after a few years can gain value, but not fuck you value
>>6444063
He was totally designed around that plane. TFs being designed around a vehicle is really fun for new designs. All the CW and TM was just G1 robot with obligatory alt mode. Nothing inspired.
The way he transforms is just so perfect for the vehicle
>>6444618
I've been hearing this argument a lot lately, but I've literally never heard it prior to the leaks. For me at least, what made the Dinobots special was that they were fucking Dinosaurs. Plus after Combiner Sky Linx, Triple Changer Viking Lion Alpha Trion, and Duocon Sky Shadow have pretty much convinced me that just because an old character has an established style doesn't mean they can't do anything else. Pic related was one of the Highlights of CW/UW for me, and I'm totally okay with them doing outrageous things in the future.
>>6444632
>just because an old character has an established style doesn't mean they can't do anything else.
That's true. But it'd be nice if they could do something else while simultaneously doing their old thing too.
>For me at least, what made the Dinobots special was that they were fucking Dinosaurs.
Yes, giant metallic dinosaurs. And that, at least in the '80s implied dominance that Deluxe Dinobots just don't represent.
>>6444642
Recent fiction with Dinobots has them much smaller.
>>6444615
Speaking of Cuck Rod, regardless of it being a good representation or not, is it a good figure?
I still plan on getting the Power of Repacks version but if this one is a good figure then I can still use it for something else.
>>6444622
It's kind of a running theme with that one shop. The mall where it is located is somewhat infamous for having stupid expensive prices for collectibles but that store is just absurd; they also had a DOTM Air Raid for 56 dollars and ROTF Leader Bee for 190 dollars.
>>6444658
>DOTM Air Raid for 56 dollars
I paid $5 at a Family Dollar some years back, fucking hell anon.
>>6444660
He's a hard buy for $5
>>6444618
Bingo.
This guy gets it. Shrinking them down takes away from what they were to begin with.
The Dinobots should have been a standard combiner but with a leader and 4 voyagers, only they're still using the standard combiner port system so you can combine giant voyager limbs to voyager bodies or put deluxe limbs on a leader body and get like a weird midget-proportions combiner
That would have been a fun use of the gimmick
>>6444089
>> doesn't transform
>> brittle as fuck
Why bother?
>>6444676
I'd love to see a powermaster inspired on Valvotron.
>>6444618
I'd argue with just as much validity given the more prominent source materials that their main selling point was their strength, ferocity and sheer inability to give a fuck outside of "eat the decepticons" with Grimlock specifically having the size advantage since he's the only character where that trait is ever specifically emphasized.
Hell, for deluxe classes they look beefy as fuck, so saying it takes away from what they were is being rather overdramatic.
>>6444618
Where is that Sunbrow """scale""" chart for everyone in robot mode?
>>6444632
Fuck, I wish I wasn't broke. Grand Aspergo looks great and that team is possibly the most interesting out of the CW/UW original teams.
>>6444662
I was in a drought and wanted to open something new. He's not terrible, just not great. I actually like his weird radar-plane altmode, and the skeltal limbs and weird face make him seem like a less-friendly Cosmos kind of weird loner, staying up high and not talking to people for unhealthily long periods of time.
>>6444684
I was deployed while Grand Galvy was released, totally slipped my radar. I was amazed at how much it had already jumped in price.
I went ahead and bit the bullet because I knew he was only going to get more expensive.
It was a great purchase though, barring the usual CW complaints about the handfootguns, he's a unique and beautifully painted figure
>>6444682
>>6444629
I am glad I am not the only one who feels this way. the latest lines are the most boring, effortless, "just photocopy the original" bullshit. I should want all of them, but I can't do it. the earlier Generations lines were fantastic. CW and TM is barely above competent.
>>6444618
>Their whole shtick is their size
It's funny because if you put a fucking Deluxe Dinobot next to a Deluxe anything else, you will STILL have a ridiculously oversized dinosaur compared to whatever the other Deluxe is.
>>6444618
SOLUTION:
Collect more legends scale
Get Deluxe Dinobots
Now they're fuckhuge
Solved
>>6444701
>Most of the Autobots don't even reach Deluxe
Automanlets
>>6444618
>Their whole shtick is being literally retarded and ability to dominate any battle they walk into
FTFY
I don't were this weird size queen meme comes from.
The first wave Headmasters are now deluxe size, and barely anyone complained

I did :3
>>6444591

>This mold has a common misassembly error; his left arm's ratchet-joint is off a notch, preventing the arm from "clicking" to a proper level-with-the-ground position in vehicle mode.
I wonder if Takatomy will go straight to a Dinoking UW set instead of whatever the Dinobot combiner is called.
>>6444768
>Takara
>missing a chance to sell one of the things people have been asking for, for-fucking-ever
I wouldn't bet my house or my balls on that, because I'd lose'em both.
>>6444768
They didn't make Liokaiser, so I would doubt it.
>>6444768
Why Donoking? This new combiner doesn't use any of the Monsterbots.
>>6444780
Cuz you know, their pretender shells are Donosaurs, goofing around all day.
>>6444768
Honestly, I'd rather have them say the Dinoking shells became full fledged transformers and used the Dinobot molds. The only issue is the lack of Ankylosaurus, but yeah.
I like how delusional anons are compared to actual TF fans. Nobody has been "demanding" a Dinobot combiner and most of the fanbse actively dreaded it thanks to le epic "The Beast" meme that Walky and his creeps have been pushing for years.
>>6444793
Just have Hasbro re-introduce Slapper along with Slash and Scorn.
Finally cave in and got Devs, like him more than expected but they do feel like oversized deluxes, mostly because of the huge balljoints in the shoulders.
>>6444795
The only thing people have been saying about dinobot combiners is "Make one but don't make it edgy and a condescending meta-narrative like The Beast."
On a personal note, I've been saying "If it comes out I don't give a fuck about the name, I am calling it Extinction."
>>6444817
>UW version
good job you're not a faggot
>>6444823
Age of Extinction?
For $40 at Ollie's I am sufficiently whelmed. I may actually pick up the Reprolabels for him since he has a lot of recessed sticker spots.
>>6444826
Whats the add on with the best Mixmaster cab-Devs hands combo? really don't care for any other "upgrade".
>>6444847
Damn, I actually wanted a cheap one so I could turn that into a huge Space ship set while I keep my transformed one on a shelf.
Got lucky and stumbled upon a lone Chaos on Velocitron set at TRU tonight. They also had Trypticon, but I passed on him.
>>6444830
I saw a custom shell someone made for the G1 dinobots that gives them the illusion of combining that was named that, and ever since I've been hoping to god it was made a reality because it's a name on par with Ruination for simplicity vs sheer impact.
>>6444847
>$40
Fuck you, America
>>6444854
>but I passed on him.
Fuck you, America.
>>6444860
Right? Shit's crazy.
Found a more interesting base mode online. I just need to extend those from two ramps.
>Petrosaurs and Plesiosaurs are not dinos according to science
Science is gay
>>6444847
Jesus fuck. I thought it was cool when they had 50% off Generations deluxes.
>>6444868
*front
And I forgot my picture.
>>6444817
>>6444849
When you're wallet recovers from buying the goddamn UW version, do yourself a favour and buy the DNA upgrade kit.
It comes with forearm extensions, better hands, a new head with face swap, led eyes and a better neck joint, really good shoulder replacements, and a cab replacement that makes mixmaster not look like ass in foot/vehicle mode (it makes the robot mode look even worse but it's not great to being with)
Only downside to the kit is some arm joints need to be tightened (note the rubber band I have on scavenger to keep the original shoulder joint still) to support the weight of the arms.
>>6444649
Yes, which introduces the exact same problem that these toys continue.
>>6444681
>he's the only character where that trait is ever specifically emphasized.
Either you have never watcyed the Sunbow cartoon or you completely ignored the Dinobot parts.
>>6444225
gee I do missed out on this figure. Highbrow is hella cool but the arms are just meh
>>6444714
>I don't were this weird size queen meme comes from.
It came from them being ridiculously large in the original cartoon.
>>6444860
I'm going to olies tomorrow. I too saw trypticon at my TRUCK but io had no money.
>>6444873
Here's a pic of what the kit does for Mixmaster in all modes.
Yeah you don't buy this to fix his robot mode.
>>6444823
>I am calling it Extinction
Please Hasbro.
>>6444887
Take the couple of casual pans upwards for the dinobots in their intro episode and rare shot where they are seen next to dudes other than eachother or a combiner, then compare that to the entire game segments in FoC where Grimlock's constantly surrounded by terrified manlets he tosses around like ragdolls or eats alive.
>>6444916
I can one up it:
Dino Czar.
>>6444888
They make sense for transformation and I give them a pass for the fun blade play feature.
>>6444921
OK, that's actually better.
>>6444921
>>6444926
Transformers has already used up the best dinosaur robot name of all time.
>>6444930
>Heroic Maximal
>T-Wrecks
Isn't that literally the Beast Wars Megatron stand-in?
>>6444932
No, it's literally Grimlock in the Beast Machines time as realized by a Megatron repaint.
>>6444926
So we have:
Dino-Czar
Extinction
Anyone want to throw their hat at the Dinobot combiner name? Let's see if most of our ideas are better than Hasbro (and maybe Takara).
>>6444935
Wowwwwww. Like, I get repaints and reusing molds but you'd expect you'd refrain from using the main antagonist that way, right?
>>6444938
Jurassic Maximus
So, there were plans to use Primal on TLK.
>>6444942
Yeah, at least hange the head.
>>6444942
They actually did, his model in fiction and packaging kept the mutant bat bits, while Megatron was never depicted with them, and his toy eventually lost them when it was released many years later.
>>6444942
At that time they also released Primal Prime, a redeco of Optimal Optimus.
>>6444938
DinoWrex
The Dino wrecks havoc!
>>6444953
>TF6 will be beast wars
YES
>>6444935
He actually shows up in the comics as a separate character from Grimlock. It's kind of neat.
>>6444930
I fucking love T-wrecks and I have no idea why. He's just awesome as are his whole team of BW era dinobots.
>>6444963
Nooooo I want Beast Wars as their own series with their own continuity
>>6444938
>Extinction
Won't this be too triggering for dinosaurs? It's like calling a Jewish combiner Holocaust.
>>6444847
Deff checking my ollies tomorrow
>>6444953
I like how he has the same helmet as Optimus.
>>6444986
But dinosaurs did actually become extinct
>>6444701
Damn, i would be so happy with toys with that size, i fucking love the Voyaguer-Deluxe scale.
I can't really understand those who wants fucking giant toys like the Evasion Optimus Prime OS from Wei Jiang!
>>6444986
They wear it as a badge of honor.
>>6444953
>giant gorrilla
Eh, something I really liked about the original beast wars was all the robots being human-sized.
I've gained some interest over Beast Wars toys I never got. How are Magnaboss, and Tripredacus?
>>6445010
If that meant a US release of Shadow Panther or something close to that then I'd forgive Warden for being the toy industry equivalent of a war criminal.
>>6444953
Oh god, no, i like the design but if BW makes it to the movieverse, i want realistic animals transforming into Bayverse Robots!
Why do people hate Warden other than the fact he doesn't give a shit about Beast Wars
>>6444967
Beast Wars was a sequel to G1 in the first place.
>>6444869
To be fair they never were in the first place.
>>6445036
Memes, mostly. Given the obvious budget constraints, he's put out some amazing shit between CW and TR.

>>6444942
They didn't care at the time.
>>6445047
>THEY CALL ME MR. PIG FAGGOTS
>>6445036
That's basically it. He has the misfortune of headlining the franchise while it suffers from the worst budget cuts ever, but that's not really his fault.
But Beast Wars fans are butthurt because he stated it was the "dark ages" for the franchise in his eyes.
>>6445047
>Actually transforming Randy
That takes balls.
>>6445047
I wish Randy wasn't so notoriously prone to GPS. I would have liked to own him. He has a funny name and both of his modes are appealing.
Also, fuuuuck, I was holding my breath that entire video.
>>6445076
Those are my exact feelings about Torca.
>>6445070
More like that removes balls, if he explodes into plastic shrapnel that shreds the hapless owner.
I want the blendtrons
>>6445091
Good fucking luck.
>>6445091
I'm still angry at that shop selling Elephorca for 120 dollars. On top of that fucking price, the box is banged to shit.
>>6445036
>Obsessive geewunism (75% of CW Autobots are random '84 bots)
>But also bizarre divergences from geewun (Grimlock is a headmaster now! Optimus Prime is a combiner!)
>Half-assed release choices (Betatron and Computron, Groove)
>G2 Bruticus has the WRONG EMBLEMS
>>6445101
That's a steal you nigger.
>>6445091
I didn't even know this existed and now I desperately want it it.
>>6445104
So he pisses off autists who're allergic to change?
>>6445063
As long as FoC grimlock exists the budget looks like it INCREASED over the years by comparison.
>He's a soup bowl on legs in one mode and way too thin and loose in the other.
>They molded the shoulders into detent-based ratchets but they were so hurting for plastic budget that the tabs to make the detent work leave holes on his shoulders
>Only the legs and the base of the dino mode torso lock together in any meaningful way. Arms float on useless attempt at a butterfly joint.
>The insufficient saving grace is that the dino mode has LED fire breath that lights up the robot mode chest.
>>6445109
He changes what doesn't need to be changed and doesn't change what does need to be changed.
>>6445105
>check evilbay
>cheapest elephaorpha listing goes for 232 burger bills
Huh, it actually is.
>>6445115
>has LED fire breath that lights up the robot mode chest
And shows how thin the plastic is in the process.
>>6444953
I do not hate that one bit.
The listing for Primitive Optimus Prime on HTS used to say "Out of stock - Coming soon" but now it just says "Out of stock." The description still says it will be available 8/14... He is going to be available, right?
>>6445140
Those exclusives can sometimes sell out in the convention. It happened with a Kreon set a few years back.
>>6445135
>led lights that bleed through plastic
absolutely disgusting. I like my MP Shockwave but I had to take apart his arm just to drown it in black paint so his forearm stopped throbbing pink whenever you try to shoot his laser.
>>6445144
It kind of works with Grimlock because it just makes his flame seem that much more ferocious
Can anyone tell me what are the flaws before buying the voyager megs?
>>6445104
>Combiners, headmasters and pretenders are back, titan class exist.
Hate him all you want, but I love what he has done for the franchise.
>>6445159
Tiny fusion cannon, no wrists swivels.
>>6445159
>Gappy forearms on anything larger than a Deluxe
>No waist articulation
>Non-removable wings mean I can't 'bottom out' when putting the whole figure in my ass

>>6445170
>>6445171
>>6445173
I see... What about the leader megs?
>>6445159
I have the chinese oversized version and it's a great mold.
>>6445180
Just wait for the third version of the oversized ko voyager, they gave him wrist articulation and flaps to cover the forearms gaps, it has a better paint finish, a bigger sword and they'll add the mouthplate gimmick of the leader to the 3rd version for almost the same price of the voyager.
>>6445190
Wait, are you sure there's a third version coming out with the face gimmick?
>>6445192
Someone said they were thinking about it on their facebook page.
>>6444089
I would have got one if its called vulvatron and it transforms into a lubed vulva.
>>6445180
It's not the voyager.
I don't know anyone who completed the entire line of HFTD and then later RTS.
But I sure did.
http://www.transformerland.com/wiki/transformers/transformers-2010-hftd-rts/
I got every single figure that was released in America back when all this shit was heavily discounted. All the Scouts, All the Legends, all the Deluxes, all the Voyagers and leaders and all those bizarre box sets and store exclusives.
I even have Costco Masterpiece Bumblebee.
Then to further finish things off I got the whole set of OG generations that was released alongside HFTD and RTS and got the whole line of Powercore Combiners to boot.
I wanna buy MP10 KFC hands. What color is the new Toys R Us one? Is it the jp colors?
>>6445233
You want US colors. Also look for the Eness MP10 hands instead, they're much better.
>>6445238
>>6445233
I should add the colors don't match so you really need to get the right version. the Hasbro version is much brighter and the takara version is much lighter
>>6445242
Takara is much darker*
I need to get off the computer when I'm this tired it takes me three damn posts to get a basic point across
>>6445220

Anon that's too much weight unless they use the same kind of ratchets they use on mp ultra magnus's joints which I doubt they would.
Better off as a special titan class or just as they are, dinobots should be big, but not THAT big
>>6445180
>arm cannon isn't movie accurate
>transformation isn't as involved not clever
Sorta like leader prime to the voyager, voyagers are more accurate with better transformations but leaders requires a liking to the aesthetic

>seller is being an ass since release
>bank isn't helping me with charge back
>despite owning ultra class tried to bid on the toy/anime redeco
>won it for the same price that I paid for the standard version
I'm technically getting more accessories with this, was there anything to watch out for, I'm aware both are heavily laden with paint.
All I know is if they do a reissue you bet your ass I'll get that too
>>6445147
The only things to worry about on MP Primal is the head. The antennae can rub against a pin mid transformation when you flip the head around and it'll scrape paint off, and if the head isn't perfectly straight when you put him in ape mode it can scrape against the back panel when you shut it.
>>6445355
What do make of the movie Primal design?
>>6445365
I'll always have some beef with the designs but what kinda character he'd be would be the biggest mystery.
Nothing would make me angrier if they made him some bigger idiot than g1 grimlock
>>6445344
>>6445348
>mfw they actually think the comics matter
What are you literal motherfuckers guaranteed to buy from Power of the Primes?
>the Dinobots
>Leader Primal
>>6445372

>>6445348
It's not propoganda, it's Roberts trying to impress politically left people. He liked the praise he got for Chromedome and Rewind, who were perfectly fine and interesting, and all the relationship drama which was fine at pre-Dark Cybertron ratios. Since then he's been trying to get more praise and adoration by doubling down on those elements, but people are sick or used to everyone being gay or bisexual now so now he's escalated to transgenderism. He's going to find that there are much more people who approve of homosexuality than there are people who think estrogen pills make men into women.
Pronouns are probably next.
>>6445368
I don't think he'd be stupid.
>>6445376
I would guarantee his mother would be ugly and undesirable, if anything it would be more respectable to fuck one of these mousepads instead.
Just trying to look out for you my friend
Flame Toys Drift went up for preorder.
>290 for an 8 inch figure
Well...so much for that. That means Tarn is gonna be way too much.
>>6445378
Alot of the characters follow stereotypes based on their names, ironhide and hound are gung ho, barricade is aggressive, dinobots are...well dino's so not that smart but (from aoe at least) not enough screen time to show otherwise.
And look at his face, if he ain't stupid he'll be prone to random primal acts of violence or even just being outright primitive, no way would they cast him as an intellectual and him being outright primal from beast wars...I somehow doubt Bay would give him that much respect to cast him as a creative if honorable leader type.
And if they did he'll die within 5 mins just to add some sadness to the movie, more I think about it I worry what they would do if they touched primal
>>6445380
It sure is a nice looking toy though.

>>6445387
I'm pretty sure they're not making seacons
>>6445404
One anon theorized the dinobots could be pretools for them.
Made sense at the time but typically I forgotten the details
>>6445377
But robots can't be anything but binary.
Seriously robots only run on 1's and 0's. They can be anything else.
>>6445405
The combiner feet that come with grimlock are the same as the combiner feet for the G1 Seacons
>>6445411
Did you assume my programming system, shitlord?
>>6445200
it's not the gimmick, it's just a battle mask head with the mark of quintessa
>>6445380
I saw parts assembly images for this guy from Flame Toys social media and the parts count seems like it got inflated to high hell.
Thankfully the Generations mold for him is pretty damn good on its own.
The Pretender Power armor apparently is to scale with Takara's Diaclone toys.
The pretenders can also peg into larger transformer figures in vehicle mode so they can ride them mad max style.
>>6445430
Their newer ones or the original ones?
>>6445433
The newer ones ofcourse.
>>6445437
Hrm, will have to compare with my damaged diabattles v2.
Looking for something specific.
Looking for a pic of EVERY SINGLE mp10 variant all together, like pic related, only more complete and without customs (this one has a custom green babe, note the lack of camo)
>>6445442
What happened to it?
>>6445430
Does "to scale" mean a inchman is small enough to be put inside it? because we don't know the scale between inchmen and pretenders.
>>6445485
One of the arm ports was misaligned, you couldn't slot the arms in, I literally bashed it with the end of a screw driver and a bit of prying until the section rested back in, gouge marks aside it works perfectly.
It was a clearance item I won from a stores own auction, it was listed as damage, they never said what the damage was and people stopped bidding after a day, 3rd day, I put my bid in and won no contest for $80aud total.
Not a bad figure but without any media backing and its own normal rrp I'm surprised its selling enough to churn out something that not only competes with tr trypticon height wise but with the damn engineering of an mp
>>6445487
>inchman is small enough to be put inside
Inchmen are smaller than TMs so that's obvious. I also wonder what does "to-scale" mean.
>>6445306
If they ever make a figure of anode Id have a dilemma. on the one hand I think Anode is the worst character that has ever graced a transformers comic. And I don't want to give it support by buying the figure.
On the other hand I love that alt mode.
>>6445497
Buy the repaint.
>>6445344
You don't need a child if you are one, anon
Do we have any purchase rules for any lines anons?
What keeps you from just buying it all?
>>6445530
>mp's
All g1 crew, all (hasbro) mp seekers bar mp3 type, one repaint of both mp10 and eventually mp36, and then 2 of each faction for every other franchise (2 beast wars maximals+2 predacons, 2 bay verse autobots and 2 decepticons etc)
>legends/generations
What looks good that I don't already have in some acceptable form
>movie verse
After I get all tlk dinobots and cogman I'm done, unless wave 4 voyagers (if ever) surprise me, unless leader megatron goes on sale
>>6445530
Mold diversity, generally.
Also i'm sick of Optimus Primes and Bumblebees, I tend to avoid them unless their molds get made into someone else.
>>6445530
I'm mostly restricted to Generations unless the TV or movie lines have a design I REALLY like (TLK Barricade, nuRID Stormshot, etc)
Within Generations itself, I have a very lazy sense of "one toy per character" in that I will eventually sell off duplicates but am not too stressed about doing so.
>>6445532
>After I get all tlk dinobots and cogman I'm done
What about these guys
>>6445553
They had me curious but unless that stinger is amazingly sexy I'll be skipping the bunch (I already have the takara red bumblebee repaint which I got at a local tru for some weird reason...why only him dunno).
The dinobots in generations line is another concern, I wanted mp grimlock but if I get these instead then I'll be done and skip chasing up mp's of them
>>6445530
Top priority: modern versions of toys I had as a kid

>>6444521
Nope
>>6445691
Would Scamper be in demand enough to release as a Legend figure solo? He was the most unexpectedly great part of getting Metroplex since I love little nobody characters. I'd buy all the attendent-bots and cons if they were made, for sure.
>>6444953
>To compete with all the other kaiju movies they Kong it up for T6

>>6445163
But you can plug his legion class jet mode into his canon.
>>6445691

That would've neet but Metroplex needs his guns and Sixgun needs to turn into 6 guns.
>>6445530

Won't happen unless you have some super collector out there. Theres some special lotto only MP10's that are gold plated (gold chromed? I dunno) that are retardedly rare beyond rare. Something like only 10 pieces exist or some shit.
