Two things:

-Mr color Character Flesh 1 by itself is a bit orangey, so it's not even close on its own
-Reaper paints' Youthful Flesh color is about 60 to 70% of the way there, but it lacks something to really be milky white-yellow. The drawback is that it's an acrylic paint not too dissimilar to Vallejo.

Okay, here's the second AGP boy/girl I bought - best boy and girl from a pretty awful show and her sweetass Rafale.

The base body's nothing to write home about. Articulation's limited with the one-piece torsor and the legs that are mainly meant to stay in that typical bow-legged stance they find cute in Japan. Main point is that you can make her ride that mech here, really.
I'm honstely positively surprised how stable the actual robot kit is, even with its huge back binder. But considering those pointy fingers and the pencil-thin point of the pile-bunker, I'm not going to risk having it stand around unsupported for long.

The pegs being too damn tight is an issue here again, as they make assembling the toy a pain in the ass. Talking about ass, you have to pull that one out of the torsor along with the legs and slot in another set to fit the mech on and whoever designed the kit did a good job here and found a decent compromise between sculpted bits and functional parts that assist in separating the legs from the torsor. It's still not easy, but they at least made sure that it's possible, thank god. Would be hell otherwise as you basically have to completely take the main body appart head to toe and put the armour on in a specific sequence. And then its bulk combined with the stiff base body joints make posing less fun than it should be. Really, the two AGP girls I got seem to be for display rather than play.

No. AGP base bodies are a good bit smaller than FAGs and Megamis and they do not use 3mm joints. You could adapt the arms of IS mechs with adapters, but not the legs as the girl's tights are actually encased in the robot's lower tights. The chest armour would also not fit due to the already mentioned size differences.

Buy'em if you want the individual toy, but don't expect to get much cross-compatibility out of them. It's not what they're designed for.

How could I put a LED like the ones on the MSG LED Sword set on pic related? Would it be possible to make a copy of the handle using epoxy and "wrap it" around one of the LED swords?

Am I prepping parts, trimming and sanding off nubs fast enough?

3ish hours tops: Two of the mech limbs of FAG Baselard, frame, armor and all.

-Wetsanding with 120 grit on a stick and making curving strokes to sand off the nubs on the thrust nozzles.

-Then going in really fast with a 320 or a 600 stick.

1. Is there a way I can go faster on this, or is the sheer amount of small parts separation really capping how fast I can build? My method is the one that trims progressively closer before going in with sanding.

2. Should I just get more aggressive and cut the gates close enough to stress but not gouge the plastic to cut a couple minutes of time per part?

3. Hope capping at 320 or 600 is enough since I'm gonna primer and paint this?

If you don't have premium nippers, or if the nubs are on curved surfaces, shave/whittle away with a hobby knife down to the part. Learn how to use a knife to remove material gently...resources on wood carving/whittling knife techniques help, particularly the "push cut" and "pull cut"

If you manage to make clean cuts all the way to the part surface you need only some light sanding with your final grit(I.e. 600) too even out the surface.

Different anon here, I can't speak for MSG sponges, but tamiya and 3M make some decent sanding sponges. Sanding sponges are better at filing away at carved and round areas. One can do the same with regular sand paper, but without a bit of knowledge flat spots can happen if you're unfamiliar or patient with sanding.

Since these three parts are PS to PS contact, it might be possible to click it in. Maybe. Like, slice off a huge chunk of A6, brass pin to to A3 and hope for the best?

The third hip is made out of POM, supposed to be less prone to breakage. But the joint has been breaking because of being too to tight and necessitating more torque. Just sand down the joint if its too tight. My SOL Hornet didn't need sanding.

There still hasn't come out any FAG that has made me take the plunge. However, I have bought megamis 1, 2, and 3.

Coming from owning Figmas and other such pre-painted figures, I came into the plamo hobby with the mentality of a collector. So I ended up with a bunch of snapfitted gunpla and megamis. I wanted to collect them.

However, plamo are not like action figures. If you keep collecting snapfitted plamo, all you'll have is a disgusting display of soulless plastic on your shelf.

I've put a halt on purchasing more plastic crack, and instead work on making my Hornet unique. I've become very invested in her and I'm thinking of all the different MSG stuff I want to buy to put on her.

So yeah, now I don't have the urge to buy and collect every new cute girl that gets released. Will be a while before I buy anything new, I'll have to go back and work on my unpainted kits.

Long skirt armor with concealed weaponry for the maid and some of the gauntlet weapons from the MSG kits like the Impact Knuckle.
For the "art school drop out" I was going for ALL the MSG kits; I am going for an artisan/inventor kind of character but I never was too into the way that archetype was done in anime so it'd be more like that anime-girl-in-a-tracksuit look. Also, animal ears.
