Optikk! No, because he's from the New Adventures and I'm not into that series/reboot. He's a nice figure though! And reasonable on eBay.
>>
>>6441920
Yeah, he's pretty rad. Mine suffers from the loose ankle issue, but I fixed it with dental rubber bands.

The NA stuff is dumped on at times, but honestly there's not a single stinker in the lot. Even Hydron is great, especially for the $12 you can get it at.

That's a shame to hear. I have the Ultimates Skeletor making it's slow and winding way to the UK, but from the unboxing video it looks amazing, so I think I'll be happy. Overpaid like a motherfucker but he's my favourite character and I don't have him, so kinda had to.

Can you guess who my favourite character (other than Skeletor) might be?
>>
>>6441968
>>6441979
Thanks, Mer Man is my favorite character so building up a blue MM army for him to lead is kind of a dream of mine. Like a praetorian guard or something. I plan on getting maybe 2 or 3 more (really wish I had jumped on the bootlegs when they were $12 each), and then getting a few sets of the gold armor from the weapons pack to mix them up.

I'm also considering making some 3D models of shields and spears for them that are aquatic themed, then casting them.

>OP here, just started my collection and all the above pics are mine
Looks like you already have a good collection of some of the better figures. Hopefully you're not being hit too hard in the wallet, MOTUC is harsh for anyone coming into the game late. I started in 2012 with the Golden Age of Big Lots and am hesitant to even begin to rack up how much I've spent these past few years.
>>
>>6441932
He's the best looking motu guy I've seen. That design is just awesome.
>>
>>6442039
I mean they could just paint the chain, the knobs and the skull in silver and it would look a lot better.

Welcome to the slippery slope mate. Either you have too much disposable income or you've gone nuts.
>>
>>6443728
>>6443768

Cheers guys. These are the first toys I've bought since... Well ever I guess? I used to be given all my toys in the 80s cause I was a little kid, but being lucky and middle class I got all the He-Man figures and vehicles, playsets etc that I wanted.

Sold them all in approx 1991 for a Megadrive/Genesis and promptly forgot all about MotU until a few years ago when my /13 life crisis hit (I'm 35).

RE: The slippery slope - I actually have everything I want now apart from TrapJaw, Scareglow, and Clawful. Ended up getting some I didn't plan on along the way though. Oh fuck. I work from home and have no kids and a fiancee who also earns the same, so I do have disposable income, but I will freely admit to having gone fucking nuts on these the last 6 weeks.

Still have these arriving in the post sometime soon. Then that's me done. I hope:

Spirit Of King Grayskull
Buzz Saw Hordak

Serpentine King Hssss
Ultimate Skeletor

Shit what have I done?!?!
>>
>>6443934
You'll have a solid collection at that point and could stop with a very enviable lineup of must-haves.

...is what I'd say, if I didn't think that you also NEED to get Battle Cat, Panthor, and Battle Lion.

Ugh, the problem is I know you're right.

Apart from Battle Lion, I can definitely live without him. I would very much like Night Stalker though. How can you not love this thing?!

I did have Stalker, Battle Cat and Panthor as a child. And what are my dudes to ride if not them? Wind Raider only has one seat. I'm sort of running out of shelf space though, London is expensive and we're only in a small flat. Plus we have people over all the time and I don't want to look like a total weirdo. The level of weirdo I already appear to be is sufficient.
>>
>>6443998
>Apart from Battle Lion, I can definitely live without him
I felt the same way, until I got it. It really is boss as fuck. Griffin, too. When you get Grayskull, you might start to fancy Lion a bit more. He might be a ghost, but the guy has legs. And think about this scenario: the sword-weidling ghost of a mega powerful barbarian king, riding on a fucking enormous snarling green lion with battle armor. It sells itself.

And I noted the "we" part of your comment. It means you plus a significant other, maybe? Well shit dude, the only reason to hide toys is because you need to rope in a woman, but you're all set on that front already. She ain't going anywhere, no need to be embarrassed about having weird amounts of figures anymore!

Despite having 90 or so MOTUC, I can't believe that I'm still missing several from your picture: Snake MAA, Procrustus, Draego-Man, Fisto, Spikor, and Snake Face.

I really wish I jumped on Snake Face during the mattycollector sale 2 years ago when it was $14.

Also I still get triggered whenever I see a Roboto. Fucking torso cracks, it's such bullshit to have to keep mine immobilized just to push back the inevitable. I moved his arms like 3 times and immediately the tiny cracking slivers started forming. If Super7 did an Ultimate version and promised that they will fix the torso problems, I would buy another one. It's such a no-brainer to do Roboto for Ultimates with all the added weapons and the 200X head, hopefully it becomes a reality.

I would also like to get at you regarding that Tri-Klops. I can't believe I am now begging people for toys on 4chan. This is not how I envisaged this journey ending for me.

I'll snap a pic when I get home. They're all tucked away in 2 big ass boxes standing shoulder to shoulder, ready to be moved. I posted a pic of them packed in there last month. At this point I only have Granamyr and a few random stragglers still hanging out around my desk.

Someone must have received the ultimate figures already. How are they? Did they lived up the hopes are are they a let down?
>>
>>6447478
I HEARD the figures itself are alright, but the cards are bad quality that gets out of shape real easily, and some blister plastics have started to already peel off by themself (bad quality glue).
>>
>>6447083
I love the long armed snake guy. I really wish I had gotten callix when he was cheaper on ebay last year. Having a big bad rock man is really cool.
>>
>>6447558
Wow.. Well at least the figures are good, I hope they ll put out more ultimate figures.
>>
>>6447478
I've only received Skeletor thus far, and gave it to my brother for whom I ordered it. Don't think he has opened his yet. Just from looking at it in the package though it seemed pretty good. At the very least the weapons appeared to be packed in a way that won't cause stress marks or warping, which is more than you could say about 1/4 of all Mattel's releases.
>>
>>6447574
Sssqueeze is a great figure. Criminally underrated, really. I think people are turned off by gimmicks like rubber bendy limbs but it's executed really well.

And yeah, Callix is an above average figure in an already above average line. I got it on a whim when mattycollector was dying and was really impressed. I don't really care for the "too cool for school" modern designs that seem more video game-like (i.e. Prahvus) rather than kooky and silly like MOTU should be, so for a while I put off Callix until the very last opportunity to get him. Wish I hadn't, because I would have bought like 3 of them to build a rock man army had I known how great the figure is. Now it's like $50 so not exactly a good army builder at this point.

this is the only MOTU figure I have atm. I'd like to get a He-Man. Maybe a Skeletor. What's the best way to do that?
>>
>>6447791
Ultimate versions of He-Man and Skeletor are being released by Super 7.
>>
>>6447808
Great! I'll do a search. Are they easy to get/preorder right now? and about how much are they going to run?
>>
>>6447816
Super 7 offered pre-orders directly for a while, but that's over. Now you'll have to get them from somewhere like BBTS, which has them for $50. Skeletor is still up but He-Man is sold out.
>>
>>6447816
>Are they easy to get/preorder right now
At this moment: no. They were made to order. You have to watch Super7's site carefully and follow the MOTUC community to find out if/when they will sell any possible excess stock from cancellations. Otherwise, you're left with the secondary market and any places that offer inflated mark-up orders (BBTS). Expect to pay $50+ with those places.

>and about how much are they going to run
They were $35 each when put up for order, plus shipping. They'll probably be the same if/when S7 releases overstock.
>>
And now that I think about it, to add to my post: >>6447863

>>6447791
You could also look into the myriad variants for Skeletor and He-Man. I would say the best bang for the buck is with the Flying Fist He-Man & Terror Claws Skeletor 2-pack. You could get it for like $50 or less and get 2 really nice variants.
>>
>>6447808
I have the old Matty one, but damn I'd want this if he can actually fucking sit down.
>>
>>6447789
>Sssqueeze is a great figure. Criminally underrated, really. I think people are turned off by gimmicks like rubber bendy limbs but it's executed really well.
on my end it's less the gimmick that's the problem and more that Rubber Bendy limbs have a definite lifespan, so eventually all Sssqueeze's are going to end up armless
>>
>>6447891
There's a million used vintage Sssqueeze figures out there on ebay with perfect arms, and those things are 30 years old. Why would you think that the new one would be any different? At this point, assuming you're in your 30s, you can expect the MOTUC arms to last well into your elderly years if not your entire life.

I think you're ignoring observable logic and listening to the anti-rubber hysteria that plagues /toy/ and relies on cherry-picked examples to justify itself.
>>
>>6447134
Neither, seems like the line is just going to have 2-packs of figures with some accessories, He-Man and Skeletor are the only MOTU ones shown.
>>
>>6447083
Reminds me of riding the train in Tokyo. Especially that Sssqueeze....

>Where the fuck were the mer-bootlegs from
Toys R Us did a MOTUC/DCUC 2 pack line several years ago that featured some repaints and slightly tweaked figures. A few of them are stupidly expensive now, but the blue Mer-Man/Aquaman pack isn't all that bad.

I would move Moss Man to the "want" list. It's excellent.

I would also not recommend Whiplash unless you have an incredibly strong childhood nostalgia bond with it. To me, it's a really boring release with minimal intrinsic appeal, definitely not worth the high dollar price tag that it pulls. There's a few other Evil Warriors that you don't have that I would point you to before going for Whiplash.
>>
Hey guys, I've never bought any MOTU figures aside from a He-man in the early 2000s. Although, I love the design of skeletor, what's my best bet for a figure of him that's not really expensive?

Best bet for Skeletor cheap would be to buy Mo-Lar/Skeletor. Granted the head is missing a tooth per the Robot Chicken sketch the set was based upon, but you can buy one of the many gimmick Skeletors and simply swap heads.

I really want to like the Princess of Power inspired MOTUC figures, but those sharp cheeks and lantern jaws really don't mesh with the cute Barbie style appeal.

The Terror Claws Skeletor/Flying Fists He-Man 2 pack can be had for less than $30, which is fucking awesome for 2 good variants. Pic related.

>>6459557
I'm all about BG, personally. The Marge Simpson look of the normal one didn't sit well with me, and the filmation one is... well, it's terrible.

>>6459563
You could just get the weapons pack that comes with a shield and club for him, plus get a whole slew of other weapons at the same time. I actually prefer the weapons pack green shield when displaying him, makes it stand out more.

>>6459566
Icer, for one. Didn't expect that, huh? But it's a really solid figure, and it's like $15. It's kind of a sleeper release like a few of the other Club Filmation sub figures so if you enjoy Batros and Strong-Arm you'd likely enjoy Icer as well. It photographs amazingly, too, if you're into that sort of thing.

Callix is absolutely top tier. And every Snake Men faction figure has been great aside from Blast Attak, which is average. If you get a standard King Hssss to go along with your incoming Serpentine one you can get some great combinations going. I think you'll be more inclined to do so when you have Serpentine in-hand, because the transforming head that it comes with is absolutely bonkers and will drive you to get the standard Hssss to go with it.

I wish had gotten more into these back when they were new.
I don't have a lot of connection to 80's He Man but they were still pretty fun toys.
I made the mistake of holding out for 200x stuff and only ever got a Skeletor and a Merman.
>>6441967

>>
Just ordered a Draego-Man. Crazy that I've been collecting this line for 4 years and only now got it.

Looking at my wish list, it's mostly the $50+ purchases that remain:
-Kobra Khan
-Scareglow
-Snake Men 2 pack
-Spikor
-Castle Grayskullman
-Jitsu
-Captain Glenn

After that, it's picking at the lower cost stragglers like Darius and Scorpia.

>And are you interested in offloading any of them by any slim chance?

No, not really. If I ever do get rid of anything it will be peripheral characters like 200X or Filmation and those are already easy to get for the most part.

>>6461814

I passed on the Snake Men 2-pack and missed out on Jitsu, myself. Jitsu is probably my main want at the moment. I'm missing a lot of the harder to get figures like the Twistoid/Rotar 2-pack, but I also don't feel a burning need for those.

I can confirm that Draego-Man is a fucking sweet figure.
>>
>>6463379
>Jitsu is probably my main want at the moment
I honestly wasn't super interested in getting him until maybe 6 months ago. I got Ninjor on a whim, and all of a sudden I had this sash that was supposed to belong to Jitsu, but no Jitsu to go with it. So then naturally my thought process was "eh, why the fuck not," what with me being well down the rabbit hole and all at this point anyway. Now I have Night Stalker on the way, and it feels only natural for Jitsu to be the one riding him. So there's just a little bit more reasoning.

>I can confirm that Draego-Man is a fucking sweet figure.
I'm sure he will be. He's always in people's top 10 list for the line. I'm just glad I was able to snag him new in box for $32 shipped. I saw that pop up on amazon of all places while I was drinking my morning coffee yesterday and had to do a double-take. Prime shipping, too, so I should be getting it tomorrow. And at that price, I can justify a weapons pack purchase for his stuff.

>>

I'm okay with it. It's the world of He-Man, so I look at it like each super brightly colored sword is its own unique brand of magical colorful metal. Plus they hit the blade up with a metallic paint finish, so that's something. It's not done in flat bare plastic and left to look like it's unfinished and cheap.

Sucks, man. I've read a few stories on various forums about people not getting what they ordered in mattycollector's final days. Then, naturally, a ton of the items that people didn't get SOMEHOW wound up on Mattel's normal site.

I guess the silver lining is how often the Mattel site has coupons, promos, and a low threshold for free shipping.

Out of curiosity, how does Mattel's int'l shipping compare to mattycollectors, eurobros? Surely it has to be better, since there's no DigitalRiver involvement.

>Out of curiosity, how does Mattel's int'l shipping compare to mattycollectors, eurobros?

They have no international shipping. That's why I can't get Rotar and twistoid. I don't know anyone in the Us who can get it for me at cost and all the retailers who sell it have a hefty markup.

This is the darkest day to be an international fan, what with Super7s international shipping being out the roof.

After playing around with it for a bit, my consensus is that Draego-Man is officially awesome. Really glad I got the opportunity to get it, especially for so little. The paint, the new sculpted pieces, and the part selection is absolutely perfect for creating a fantasy dragon guy. Definitely going to be picking up the weapons pack stuff now for him because a flaming fucking shield would just be out of this world on him. Plus it'll give me a nice arm cannon for MAA and a better sword for Teela.

I'm not sure if I could fully place him in my Top Ten list though since I am more about goofy characters than badass ones. But when it comes strictly to all-out badasses he's right up there with Demo Man as the pinnacle of the line.

While not a popular choice, and I get the reasons why, I still prefer NA Skeletor over all his variants. The sculpting is fantastic and I love the crazy sci-fi bits. Although if they ever could make a movie Langella Skeletor, that's probably usurp NA Skeletor as My favorite.

I wish Crita was better. The best part about her is they didn't paint her crotch, it's the same color as her skin- so she's "Party Crita". But the right leg peg at her hips doesn't fit or stay together.

So I have basically no connection to MotU, but I'm always eyeing these threads because I still like the figures.

What are some of the best figures that also wouldn't look out of place with other lines?

>What are some of the best figures that also wouldn't look out of place with other lines
All of the ridable animals, for starters. Battle Cat, Battle Lion, Panthor, Griffin, Swiftwind, Arrow. There's such a dearth of articulated animals in 1:12ish scale, and they're fucking amazing to boot. There's no reason not to, I say.

And in my opinion, basically any non-human MOTUC figure could be displayed with another line and work. The 200X monster characters would be especially easy to slide into another toy line display, since they're fairly modern in their design sensibilities. Callix, Ceratus, Prahvus, Chooblah, and Dactus are names to look up. Also Modulok and Multibot for general awesomeness.
>>
>>6473509
Skeletor goes with pretty much everything.
Supervillains, monsters, skelletons.

Got my 5 figures from ebay as mentioned here >>6466378

I decided to savor them so I'm tinkering with He-Ro II tonight while leaving the others in-package (though Darius for some reason came with a nearly completely detached bubble from the package, which I contacted mattel about).

I love this figure. I thought that it would fall into average territory, as a lot of the human characters tend to in my mind, but there's just a great quality to it that makes it stand out. The minimal no-frills outfit, the color choice, and the mixture of techy bits with barbarian gear come together to create a really stylish and dynamic looking figure. It just screams "adventurer" to me.

I'm not really sure why people hate the idea of the son of He-Man, or feel like canon is threatened or somehow diminished by it. The figure is cool and I wish that there was a ton more MOTU content from that corner of the canon to pull from it.

>>
>>6475845
...but that's the point of it. The vintage uniformity is the charm, thus the "Classics" moniker. Plus given the limited appeal of the property it's the only feasible way that they could have possibly financed a line with as expansive and obscure a roster as MOTU.

I would kill for updated 200X figures. I love the designs and the sculpts on the original toys were 10/10; the articulation just wasn't there.
>>
>>6475870
They're also excellent figures, so it's not just an abstract concept like nostalgia, devoid of material purpose or benefit, that keeps it running. The actually thing keeping the line running is that they've managed to make wildly creative and well designed figures for almost a solid decade, non-stop.

I have zero memories of actually watching MOTU on TV as a child, and had only a few figures growing up that I shared with my brother, but I've sunk over a grand into the line without any real nostalgic factors coming into play and guiding my decisions. I just see the intrinsic qualities of the sculpts 4H does, and the sheer breadth of styles and concepts and genres that MOTU has encompassed, and I'm bowled over by it all.

If anything, what holds the line back is the LACK of enthusiastic nostalgia that lay people have for MOTU as a property. And that's primarily because of its joke status as being seen as homoerotic, I suspect. Plus the filmation cartoon was idiotic and trying to watch it today is like slamming your head onto your desk. But if you had Marvel-levels of nostalgia behind MOTU, coupled with the monster figures that literally any collector would love to have (but are always viewed as priced out of someone's range), the line would be enormous without changing a thing about the figures themselves.

Make no mistake about it, the sheer quality of the figures keeps the line afloat, not nostalgia.

Same here. Had none of the toys, almost never saw the cartoon, ignored the toy blogs that fellatioed MOTUC. Then got Scarabus by the 4H and was blown away. Ended up getting Horde Prime and Skeletor and then the next thing I knew I was hooked.

Tonight's figure to open is Entrapta.

Overall, not bad. Not great either. The $15 I paid seems about right for what I got.

Very few MOTUC female figures stand on an equal footing to the average male one, and Entrapta is no exception. There's not a great hook of appeal with her figure, so she comes across as fairly plain and by the numbers. The hair was done pretty well in terms of sculpt, but it's not dynamic enough to be a cool and defining feature. She's supposed to capture things with her hair, but the hair's joints can't even break the plane of her face in forward movement. So in effect she's just stuck kind of capturing things that will always be to the side of her head and never to the front of her vision. The joints don't really add to that gimmick in the least; they seem more like dynamic pose enhancers. But they're heavy as fuck, so they throw the balance of Entrapta off immensely and make posing difficult.

It is a really nice looking figure. She's got a mean/sexy villainess look to her face, and the outfit is eye catching. For building a menagerie of females for the line, she is a welcome addition.

Still wouldn't recommend it to a casual collector of the line, though.
>>
>>6476293
For a casual, what would you say are the must get females in terms of standalone toys?
>>
>>6476515
Battleground Evil-Lyn and Teela for sure, because they're just so damned good. Huntara is pretty similar in that she comes across as very athletic and warrior-like, but is a small step below the two BG girls. Scorpia works as a monstrous girl so her versatility in miscellaneous displays will increase. Shokoti, too, since she has blue skin. She also in my opinion one of the most beautiful in the line, just a classic type of evil sorceress woman.

I don't have original/Ultimate Teela so I can't say on that one. She-Ra... meh. If you want an iconic female she works for that, but overall the skirt basically destroys the fun factor she has. I don't have Bubble Power She-Ra so I can't comment on that one either. Galactic Protector She-Ra is on my short list of wants, but again I'd need to have her before recommending.

Other than those, the females aren't really going to impress a casual collector. I would put Goddess in the list, but why recommend something that will shatter?
>>
>>6476515

My personal favorites are all based on aesthetics, not character importance.

- Mara
- Queen Greyskull (Veena)
- Scorpia
- Sorceress
- Battleground Teela
- Marlena/Captain Glenn
- Original Teela

Please note all of them have slightly worse articulation than the male figures in order to maintain their body sculpts. But I still like them a lot.

Tell me about it.
The only reason I didn't go all out with the MOTUC figures is that I was waiting for a 200X style He-Man and Skelletor.
But nope we got just about every other version on earth but nothing for the people who grew up with the 2000's cartoon.
At least there were a few sidecharacters and pre-skull Skelletor but I wanted He-Man.

>>
>>6478012
They shunned 2002 He-Man/Skeletor because those fucking figures were the main reason WHY MOTU got blackballed from all major retail stores.

They flooded stores with countless He-Man/Skeletor figures and variants of them, leading to no one being able to get any of the other characters, which basically caused people to stop buying the line and stores being stuck with Snake Hunting He-Man and Disco Skeletor no one wanted to buy

Why is this so amazing to you? The cartoon was 15 years ago. There's actually a lot of posters on 4chan that were too young for that cartoon. Save all your "WOAH MAN, TIME PASSES, I AM SOOOOO OLD" bullshit for when you're 70.

>But nope we got just about every other version on earth but nothing for the people who grew up with the 2000's cartoon.
That applies to most legacy franchises. You guys had the misfortune of being into the series that wasn't the original, and is not current, so you end up being the black sheep of the fanbase.

Oddly enough, as soon as I posted symptoms I was facing, it began to work.

This Fisto guy looks cool, but not $200 cool.
>>
>>6479249
"Reasonable" changes the further down the rabbit hole you tumble. I look at some of the $70+ ones that I still need to get and think to myself, "worth it." But yeah, Fisto is the final hard pill that a latecomer has to swallow.

But just imagine how you'd feel if you absolutely HAD TO HAVE the original Spirit of Grayskull to complete your collection. Fisto would seem like a clearance priced purchase.

Opened up Goat Man today. Not sure how much I'd enjoy him without his master Beast Man in my collection, but he's an alright figure in his own regard. Bonus points though for the fact that he's a legitimate low tier goon/henchman character, which is sometimes rare to get in figures.

The subdued colors don't carry a great deal of pop to them, and the design falls between "silly" and "serious" without hitting enough of either to really stand out or gain interest. MOTUC is at its strongest when it jumps right to extremes and creates either the silliest shit imaginable or the most seriously badass monsters/warriors around, so Goat Man being neither places him in a spot of limited interest.

I will say that outside of MOTUC collecting I see this figure with ENORMOUS potential for people looking to build up a fantasy figure collection. Probably amongst the best in the line for those purposes really, especially with the insanely low price point on him. If I were big into Mythic Legions I could 100% see myself buying like 3 or 4 Goat Man figures, maybe even no-accessory bootlegs, and just getting random loose gear on ebay to strap on them for army building.

Opened up Darius today.

I had ZERO expectations for this figure. No idea what I was getting, no idea about the character's history, nothing. Overall, it impressed me. A lot. To the point that I am now super motivated to finish up the Galactic Protectors.

The paint work on this figure is fantastic. The gold and bronze has that nice metallic fleck shine to it that really makes it pop against the red. Everything is on point, and it highlights all the awesome sculpted details. I especially like the thighs; not sure if they're recycled or not, but the techie fronts coupled with well sculpted straps on the back really resonates with me. It's not just future tech, it's utilitarian armor.

The weapons were a letdown. Kinda scrambling to see where I could pull some unique weapons for him that would match the future aesthetic and his coloring without being someone else's definitive gun or something. I have a spare Optikk rifle, so... maybe?

Articulation is tremendous. He has the hinged wrists which really add play value, and solid ankles with the lateral rockers that I love. The only thing holding him back is the fact that his crotch overlay is glued down to the pelvis, so there's not a lot of give for forward leg movement. I'm just gonna separate it, though.

All said and done, I'm kinda thinking the NA figures might be pound for pound the best done line in MOTUC. If IG Skeletor held more interest for me, and Crita didn't seem so meh, I would be more confident in the assertion.

>Have they confirmed they're releasing more of those? I'd love to have a Mekaneck or Beast Man without paying $100.

They would be idiots if they didn't. The new characters aren't generating nearly as much hype as the ultimate line since the new releases are just more shitty cartoon variants and super-obscure characters
>>
>>6485802
Nice. I wasn't super big into the Kobra Khan forearms and shins they used but it's still pretty solid looking. I'm content with my Mo-Larr 2 pack/Demo-Man Alcala head version.

>>6486099
I've seen "insiders" on various forums claim that the Ultimates line was a one-and-done deal. Who knows, though. Super7 has been fairly spontaneous. The biggest and most logical argument that I've seen for no more Ultimates is that they ran into a shit ton of unforeseen costs with having to retool molds that were old and busted and that Ultimates aren't the easy profit generators that they were supposed to be for S7.

It is true that the molds can be $10k, so one or two fucked up molds beyond repair would essentially destroy their profits, but I haven't seen anything that suggests that they had to go whole-hog and create all new molds rather than fixing current ones. Could be very wrong in this matter though, I didn't watch every last S7 update video.

>What's your biggest want among figures that have been made?
Either Kobra Khan or Scareglow.

>What's your biggest want among figures that still haven't been done?
Tough one. Maybe Meteorbs? I think that they could open up a whole new chapter in this line, and bring in lots of outsiders. They would be so ridiculous and fun. I can see Transformers autists really digging them, and the general toy collecting community as well if they're done with typical 4H panache.

And if not Meteorbs, then Lizorr. The New Adventures line could still bring a lot of amazing depth to MOTUC, since their villains are all so well designed. You can pick basically any of them and have a top tier figure. Lizorr does stand at the top of the list for me, though.

I have mine (from Demo-Man) on the Mo-Larr two-pack Skeletor. The cowl has a rich purple color so it's not a perfect match by any stretch with the more subdued coloring of the chest armor. OP

>>6494851

Nice. My package was similar but vanished somewhere and now that money is just gone.
>>
>>6494940
I am so, SO painfully stupid for passing up on the Battle Ram when it was like $50. I also missed the Wind Raider when it was like $15...

I accidentally ordered a MOTUC Man At Arms so I guess I am getting back into the line.
I only have original Skeletor at the moment.
What are some good ones to pick up?
I am mostly into 200X and the villains.
>>
>>6495163
Filmation Skeletor I have a few up on bay for $100
>>
>>6495172
I already have a Skeletor and I don't care about the Filmation series nearly enough to drop $100 on a single figure from it.
looks nice though.
>>
>>6495005
I wonder if it is the same butthurt one that comes shitting over every fucking motu thread..

Nah, just this. It arrived in my gigantic package from Super 7 / BBTS yesterday, along with Ultimate Teela, Ultimate Skelly, Serpentine King Hiss, Horde Trooper, Spirit of Grayskull, and Buzz Hordak. Today has been a lot of fun.
>>
>>6496034

Unfortunately the original has gotten rather pricey at this point, which is what held me off on buying the Battle Ram for a very long time. I really just want the toy-styled one.

I wouldn't have bought it myself for $115 - But my pal got it for me when I asked him to send some stuff from the Mattel store to the UK for me, as they don't deliver here.

He's a really nice guy, basically.

This little dude arrived as well!
>>
>>6496060

Not the guy you're responding to, but yeah I'm in Europe as well and have no way to get the stuff they sell off the store now...

M.O.T.U.S.C.L.E.

Whole family together. I never had any of the M/U.S.C.L.E. toys as a kid, but was extremely envious of friends who did, and used to play with them. They always struck me as being 'naughty' in some way but I don't know why.

Weird how we got so many 200X side characters and variants in the Classics line but no Teela.

I didn't know they made a figure of that dude.
He is going on the list.
Thanks!

The Horde Troopers are really nice figures. It's awesome that we got the chance to snag them in single packs. Despite the long list of shitty things that Mattel has done throughout the years, releasing the troopers in single packs to offset the insane aftermarket for the two pack cleared up a lot of animosity that I held towards them.

Also since this thread hit the bump limit I would encourage you to make a new one. You do good photos with lots of color, the Batros one really worked for an eyecatching OP.

Do someone know the size of a vintage motu cardback?
I've read 6x9 but i'm not sure.

Thank you
>>
>>6441883
So i missed out on the ultimates, is super 7 going to do a second run
>>
>>6498174
No. They might one day have cancelled orders available online, but it's unlikely seeing as how they've said that they already sold some overstock in their physical stores right after SDCC.

If you want them, get them now. The price will only get worse. Take it from a longtime MOTUC collector, $60 today is $85 next year.
>>
>>6497949
Thanks mate! I've been having a lot of fun taking them.

Posted a new thread here, hope you like the new OP image:
