Man-thing is pretty nice, he's got above average articulation and his paint is subtle but also kind of perfect. I'm worried about the pegs that go from the shoulders into the biceps though, they have a worrying amount of flex to them.

TRU sucks when it comes to action figures. The Walgreen's exclusives have all been pretty easy to find either at the store or you can just order them online a few weeks after they get released. Every single Marvel exclusive was on their site for at least a few weeks so they weren't impossible to obtain unless you are some moron who won't order something online.

I also got several complete waves there including the Warlock, Juggernaut, GOTG Titus, and the Sandman Wave before I ever saw a single figure anywhere else like Target or Walmart.

It would be dumb for them to not make Doc Ock, but Hasbro hasn't seemed to be willing to stack waves with more than one super recognizable villain. And sometimes there's none at all in a given wave.

If they frontload the big name, super familiar characters, they wouldn't be able to run the series as long as they have- it's clear that they want the Spider-Man series running independently from all the varying movie tie-in lines. So drip feeding in characters like Norman, Mysterio and the Symbiotes one at a time alongside Spider variants and much lower tier characters is probably the best way to get us the most characters possible.

Doc Ock coming is as certain as something unannounced in this hobby can be; I just hope they don't use his tentacles to justify making him a BAF.

In terms of big-name Spider villains, now it's really just Doctor Octopus and Scorpion. I would say Vulture, too, but there's the movie version and the Ultimate version currently out, so I think it'll be a while before they do the classic version.

Aside from those two, and the announced (Lizard, Mysterio, Lasher)/rumored (Demogoblin, Prowler), I can only think of a few more niche villains that they'd do.

Logistically it would be as much plastic as Sandman, I would think, if not less. And then if they wanted to be lazy they could load him with 3 lefts and 3 rights from the Ben Reilly/Spider-Carnage figure, and maybe even the same head.

I think he would definitely have to be a BAF, but the only new thing they'd have to make is the torso.

Everything else could be recycled and repainted from the spideys and the symbiotes, essentially.

Both of those require dedicated molds whereas most Spider-Verse stuff are easy repaints of previous figures.

I've only seen one Rocket from the Mantis wave at an out of the way GameStop. I haven't seen them anywhere else though. GameStop has them all online for about retail but you gotta pay shipping. Did any of them actually see the Spider-Man wave Ghost Rider in person?
The flame on the head is shaped the same way on top and around the skull, the difference is the paint on the skull, the eyes are black sockets instead of glowing orange and the nose hole is also painted black whereas the Spider-Man wave one the nose was just the same bone color as the rest of the skull.

Mine had the leg bent sideways because whoever does that shit shoved the leg in straight at a bad angle instead of turning it and having the joint bend, but other than that the paint is fine and if I put him in a squat or a slightly lower battle stance, it's not noticeable.

I like to think there will be a second Netflix wave with four more characters. I foresee the next four characters being Iron Fist in his upcoming costume, Luke Cage, Kingpin, and Ghost Rider. I know Ghost Rider isn't Netflix but he's essentially on the same level.

I hope that Ghost Rider gets a better costume by then, though. I know who he's based on, but Marvel's been liberal before. No need to give him such a low energy suit. Are spikes and boots really too silly, Marvel? I now ACTUAL Hispanics who would wear something like this.

If there is another Netflix wave I imagine they'll just make a comic Ghost Rider and throw him in the way they did Blade in this wave. I don't see any Agents of SHIELD versions of characters getting figures. That's what I'd prefer, at least. I know the looks in the show and comic are more or less the same but I like the style of his skull in the comics a lot more.

And I'm fine with his current costume. It makes sense for a racer and it differentiates him from other Ghost Riders while still looking the part.

I definitely agree on the mustache. I imagine if we get a Robbie figure regardless of whether it's his comic or TV appearance we won't get an alt head so it's not a huge deal, but it is pretty bad regardless.

Went to shop for some school supplies at Walgreens and came across the Ragnarok wave. I snatched Hela as she's the only one I'm interested in and I've already pre-ordered Hot Toys Gladiator Hulk and waiting for Thor to go live.

Just got Rhino and his ab crunch is absurdly loose. Like, yeah, it's ratcheted, but after it "clicks in" and settles, it wobbles around like crazy between the two clicks. Why is it like this? It makes him feel really flimsy, I can pick him up and shake him and his whole lower torso wiggles back and forth.

Caved in and ordered SDCC Bor from ebay. He's pretty awesome, for some reason he's taller than Sandman who's using the same body mold, so probably the sculpt underneath that glued on fur boots are new. Top notch headsculpt and paint on the armor pieces.

I feel like it would be a massive waste if he never comes out other than pain in the ass exclusives. I figured out if he ever came out he'll be a BAF anyway so shelling $40 for a BAF is not out of ordinary, especially considering I have little interest in other Thor characters. I learn this experience from Dormammu. For some reason my Bor comes with fully frozen left hip joint. Had to crack the crotch piece and dremel away the clearance for the disc, apparently there is a goop of glue freezing the disc inside the crotch piece. He kinda have gangly lengs for figure his size. It takes a lot out of me to not order Malekith, or the whole set so hopefully we'll see Malekith as regular figure soon.

The armor piece is pretty unique, War Thor diidn't have that armor piece. I think we've misunderestimated Hasbro's cheapness. They came out with Jackal out of the blue, and sculpted in Mysterio figure in the future. These are brand new sculpt and tooling with very low possibility of reuse. For some reason they have stepped up their game quite well.

This is also why I was considering Odinson SDCC. I absolutely hated what Marvel did to him, but with release of >>6446191 I'm afraid we might never see his bearded headsculpt and arm version ever again.

Pizza Spidey is not all that great to me, plus he's being released again with that Legacy wave. So it's just yet another Spidey, but with an ugly outfit.
