Tough call but Kirby is probably the closest. I'm sitting with 30+ Nendos but Kirby is such a fun figure to pose and adjust that I can't really find myself being satisfied with a single pose. Also I guess I can connect to the whole magnetic limbs aspect so fiddling with him isn't the usual swapping marathon if I really want to try different display ideas.

Animal Crossing but I'll be stoked to see a Yotsuba Nendo if that future ever comes if at all.

Style plays a heavy role and some characters really benefit from the chibi aesthetic. Other times it's the accessory count they have when compared to their fuller scale counterparts like Figma. Faceplates also are a major choice but I always lean on design and accessories to make me pull the trigger.

Though a smaller collecting habit right now is having a small corner of Nendoroids from different series just hanging out in a cafe or at a home. I still tie my purchases to reasons above but the varied character designs in a singular display setting appeals to me.

My Popuko/Pipimi duo. It's my favorite because it's nice to own something that I've saved countless reaction images of in real life, and the headswap potential.

Definitely Dorohedoro, it needs more love in the figure department. A Nendo of Shinji from Evangelion wouldn't hurt either, I want to re-create pic related.

Just got this beauty while on a trip to Japan. I already had 2 Nendo before this, HMO Miku and Umaru but they both could easily stand on their own and Galko can't do that at all. Do you guys normally set your Nendos on their stands? The stands are awfully fiddly even when you attach the stand to the body first without the head.

I'm trying to to the Revoltech leaning stand style where you just attach the stand arm to the back and let it act as a third leg but it's not working out so well.

I just find the stands a bit hard to work with and from my experience with figma stands the plastic on the base or the stand arm knobs eventually wear or crack. Managed to get the leaning method to work though, guess I'll stick with this for Galko.

Really? All of my figma stands have held up pretty well after several uses and adjusting the angles, even the older ones still manage well so I can't imagine cracking to occur unless you tighten the screws too much and exert force on every adjustment.

If anything, Nendo stands are pretty good in my opinion and I haven't run into any issues on even older ones.

DNK Batman and MM Link are cheap. Most of the Madoka Magica nendos are in the lower to mid $30s and most of the old Crypton Vocaloid nendos too (with Meiko the lowest at $21).
And depending on the girl and the version, you can find the Love Live nendos for a low price as well.

It takes a bit of work to get a good bend in it. It doesn't stay in the shoulders very tightly because of the lower friction, but it won't fall out unless its moved around. There's still a gap at the shoulder though.
