About a year ago, I posted pics of some of my vintage figures in a thread and someone asked me for more pics of my collection. I never got around to it before I left for school, but now that I'm back home I have my collection under one roof now. Here's what I've got so far.
Also, Saint Seiya general, I guess.
V1 Bronze Saints. I'm still trying to get my hands on a Phoenix Ikki. Note that the chain on Andromeda isn't the original. I attempted to make a new one by using stock chain and jump rings that were as close as I could find to the chains from the V2 Andromeda, since I figured that Bandai would've used the same type of chain for both figures. I've been meaning to scratch-build some replacements for the ends but so far I haven't gotten around to it
Combo breaker
The nice thing about the chain being separate on Andromeda is that you can swap it with whatever you want so you can do cool shit like this.
V2 Bronze Saints. Ikki is the vintage Spanish version (possibly Mexican since I bought it from within the US), while the others are Japanese.
For whatever reason, the Japanese figures released after Eagle Marin (V2 Bronze Saints, God Warriors, Marina Generals) tended to be more susceptible to oxidation and discoloration. This is also seen on figures with colored metal parts, where some parts start turning darker than others (see Dragon in my previous photo for an example). The European/Latin American releases are actually better about keeping their luster. Compare the silver piece from Phoenix to the pieces from Pegasus and Cygnus.

This fucking guy.
I still have some of my vintage saint seiya figures but they're in really bad shape and hidden in a box somewhere. I have some myth cloths but my favorite is my megahouse Seiya, it just looks sexy af.
Gold Saints. Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius are Japanese, while Gemini, Libra, and Pisces are the Italian, French and Spanish versions, respectively. Unfortunately, my Leo is missing his right shoulder and his feet guards. The feet guards on him now are spare parts from a Sagittarius figure I don't have.
Im loving this thread I really wanted a Libra like yours back in the day, cool colection anon
Here's the last of my lot. The Japanese Eta Robe, and the Hong Kong Galaxian Wars Sagittarius Cloth. When I bought the Sagittarius, I was 80% sure it was a bootleg since I got it from a seller in Taiwan for less than 40 USD shipped, but when I received it I was surprised by how good the quality is. Now for all I know it might actually be legit. Unfortunately, the armor doesn't really fit the Vintage figures from the 80s/90s, since the HK reissues were actually entirely new molds. I also have the HK versions of the three Steel Saints, but their paint is chipping like crazy so I plan on repainting those at some point.
The vintage gold saints look horribly generic.
How are the panoramation figures? I kind of want to get Andromeda since his EX version doesn't scratch the nostalgia itch like I thought he would and my favorite figure as a kid was him. I thought maybe the smaller scale would make me like him better.
I also have an unopened regular Camus EX, how much are they going for, I think I'll sell him.
Boxes. I also have a shitload of the old St. Fighter bootlegs if anyone's interested in seeing them.

Looks great. I'm interested in getting the statue of Athena but I wasn't sure if it was worth the amount people ask for it.

Thanks. Libra's easily the coolest of the Gold Saints. I'd recommend tracking one down if you're still interested.

My biggest problem with the DDP Andromeda figure is the lack of real chains. Instesd they just have plastic pieces which fit into the hands. That's just my own nitpicking, the line itself is fine. Some of the earlier figures had wonky faces but they've gotten better I believe
According to Ebay, Camus has sold for about $120 used so it should be more for a new one. It's kind a hard to tell since most of the ones that have sold are bootlegs.

The figure does look great, i got it used in its box but in very good condition for 40 something €. I was surprised by its size, thought it was gonna be smaller. I don't know why Athena's price is so high, not worth it. Have you checked mandarake? They have one at a decent price. https://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/detailPage/item?itemCode=1066470417&ref=dos

I didn't think to look there. Thanks for the tip.
