BoBo's review was the most interesting. He looks kinda poop and like he said, with Maketoys doing one at some point... its probably better to wait.

Also thanks to whomever posted all those road caesar pics, im pulling the trigger now

I watched two video reviews where those Ape pinkies just fell off. But were broke forever.
>>
>>6395289
I'm not the idolizer of paint that Bobby is, but I agree with him that he's very bland in presentation (and the swirly grey plastic isn't doing him any favors). Comments to his video alluded to posts on TFW that Maketoys had either put theirs on some back burner, or may have outright canceled the project.
>>
>>6395250
that looks goddamn terrible
>>
>>6395299

It's actually so g1 to it's detriment. Despite having superior engineering they replicated the terrible proportions of the original way too well.

No idea where this is from. But I think its legends or an upscaled legends. Mecha fan Toys are the IF upscale guys, right?
>>
>>6395250
I can't deal with those thin forearms/wrists. The G1 toy didn't even have wrists that thin (proportionally)
>>
>>6395250

Hmm I love Apeface but this figure looks like knockoff MARS robot quality. Articulated fingers and extra paint don't make up for how cheap this looks.
>>
>>6395452

Upscaled legends presumably if it's Mecha Fans Toys, it's KO of DX9's Mightron from their War in Pocket range.
>>
>>6395294
Maketoys just announced him too early like their Starscream that kept missing every convention until pictures just appeared one day.
>>
>>6395540
How upscaled we talking here? If Voyager sized I'm sold. If MP scale then fuck 'em.

I was wondering about Ironhides myself, but not sure what qualifies as MP

iGear's Weapons Specialist, TFC's Ironwill, VooDoo Robots' Animus, not sure if there's any others past the official MP

I've heard a lot about Weapons Specialist, but nothing about the others.

Bit the bullet and pre-ordered this glorious, gleaming bastard just now, thanks to the anon who highly recommended him last thread. Love me some silver Grimlock.
>>
>>6396243
The only thing I'm a bit hesitant on is if they're going to make a replacement dino head for the comic version like they did with the original. The stock head still looks great but once you see the replacement head next to the original, it really starts to gnaw at you knowing that your Grimlock could look that much more accurate. I feel like FT did this on purpose which is a really shitty and scummy thing to so but it's hard to say no to them when they still put out such quality products.

Also, I wish they made the black pieces more of a navy blue to fully represent the comics but it's still a really sexy figure that's hard to resist. It's a mold so nice that I'm tempted to buy it twice.

>>
>>6395289
You're welcome, anon.
I'm glad it helped your decision. Frankly, I'm still unsure on it myself because TFC has been so iffy. I like Hercules (though I still need his arms, and I know they're the weakest figures of the set), but that seems to be one of the best sets so far, unfortunately. I know Poseidon is meant to be good but eh, I don't need another big, expensive combiner.

There are some legit criticisms I saw over on TFW c/o "FatMick Prime" that I thought would be worth mirroring here, however:
"I was really looking forward to this figure. I only found out about it a few weeks ago, but ordered it as soon as I saw it. But having received it today, I find myself disappointed

The figure should have been designed to stand beside MP Star Saber, but the figure is considerably taller than SS's inner 'bot (I can live with that desu). The brain master has the opposite problem - Brain off Skill is waist high to Brain of Courage, but should be only slightly smaller if at all.

The non-turning head is annoying but livable, but I really can't see why they didn't copy TT's idea from SS, which works perfectly.

Besides the design, the quality isn't there either - all those poles held on with nothing but friction - one of the doors/leg panels on mine had already come loose enough to fall off during transformation.

I was looking forward to this more than any recent release, so maybe my anticipation hightened my expectations, but overall..disappointed."
>>
>>6395250
I have KFC's two Cassetticon combiners and the QC on them is bad enough, but actually fuck their Apeface - it's hideous.
>>
>>6395704
The official one really isn't that bad, but if you don't want that, Wei Jiang is doing the oversized MP Ironhide and Ratchet which have changes to "fix" the "problems" of the original versions.
>>
>>6395900
Don't even bother with TFC's Ironhide and Ratchet. They're meant to be pretty crap.
>>
>>6395704

>>

>>
>>6395716
I'd love for Wei Jiang to roll up with a ton of knock-offs of all the recently-released third-party toys just to give them all a middle finger.

It'd be funny, at least.
>>
>>6396101
If Nickel happens, my pants are coming straight off.

Don't judge.
>>
>>6396441
Me too. I don't have any Masterpiece-scale Dinobots, including MP-08. Kinda tempting but I don't really have the money for them. If he came with all the accessories that MP-08 has AND had comic book colours (i.e. the dark blue instead of black), I'd probably buy it ASAP.
>>
>>6396393
>Brian Golder is a coke-sniffing idiot that thinks Jem would be a successful movie
To be fair, Brian Goldner has run Hasbro during some of their most successful periods ever, so one bad decision versus everything else is kind of unfair, if you ask me.
>>
>>6396447
Something to mention is that you have to install a lot of small parts (headlights, tail lights, etc.) on Raging Bull out of the box. Kinda lame it's not shipped with them installed from the factory.

You know, as much as I've enjoyed TR I desperately wish FP had continued their headmaster series with this same quality. Smart Robin in particular is probably still one of my top 5 figures of all time. I would have loved an Apeface and Snapdragon with this same level of engineering.

Anybody have this guy? I'm new to 3P and he looks awesome, but I don't know if he's worth 140 bucks.

Are there any other 3P versions of Hardhead?
>>
>>6396685
Yes Model is making a $60 KO of him in like a month. Judging by the quality of their maketoys cupola KO it'll be just as good as make toys version.
>>
>>6396502
Anarchus is really good. Cynicus is fragile due to all the really thin joints, but if you don't have ham hands it should be fine.
>>
>>6396692
So now there are even third-er parties making KOs of third party figures? How far down the rabbit hole does this go?
>>
>>6396663
Agreed, though I still think Code is the best of their Headmasters (but to be fair, I only have Code, Quadruple-U and Smart Robin).

I hated Smart Robin when I got him but I eventually grew to like him quite a bit. I still have my issues with him but he's good. At the VERY least, it'd be nice if we got Hardhead to finish off the set of 7 Headmasters, but Apeface, Snapdragon and the Headmaster Jrs. would also be really nice (and they were planning Minerva, which just kinda disappeared).
>>
>>6396685
There's the Wei Jiang Titans Return oversized KO which is meant to be pretty decent (and apparently fixes whatever the problem was with the legs that people have modded on the official one), and there's ToyWorld's Hardbone that, whilst DECENT, is easily the weakest Hardhead toy we've had in recent years, and not typically worth the price.
>>
>>6396697
This has been happening for a while now, anon.

But to answer that: not far enough. Once I can have my 1:1 scale Masterpiece Fort Max oversized KO with self-teaching AI, I'll be happy. Until then, every Transformers toys is obviously hot garbage.
>>
>>6396695
Interesting. Thanks anon. Maybe I'll get them at some point. Kultur/Tarn looks particularly good.

I'd love Nickel first though.
>>
So what are the best places to look for third-party stuff outside of the usual (BBTS, TFsource, Robot Kingdom, etc.)? I've been looking at eBay recently because it seems there are a lot of good deals there, but I'm trying to find MakeToys Rear End and Iron Factory Windsaber but can't find either (at least not for a reasonable price, and I don't even necessarily mind spending a little more than they're worth, but I can't even FIND Windsaber in-stock anywhere).
>>
>>6396701
>Wei Jiang Titans Return oversized KO
You mean this? This looks kinda awful. I thought Wei Jiang was about tweaking figures and targeting them towards collectors who wanted more out of the original releases. This just looks like one of those shifty companies stealing a mold and trying to pass it off as their own in a dollar store or something, especially with all the weird color changes and the phony faction badge.
>>
>>6396708
Colour changes aside, it's meant to be pretty good. It depends who designs the Wei Jiang stuff - not all of it is extremely exciting and are just KOs, often upscaled. Others are redesigned quite a bit.

If you wanted it to be accurate colour-wise, you'd probably have to paint it, and I understand if that puts you off it, but it's cheaper than the official one, bigger, and technically better even if the colours are off.

Otherwise, ToyWorld's Hardbone is relatively cheap now (but still not something I can really recommend, even though it's kinda fun to play with and has some neat engineering in places), else you can get Maketoy's one or wait for the KO of it which should be out soon.

I believe Fansproject was planning to make a Function X one but, you know, that's not a thing now.

As far as toys that are out right now? Wei Jiang Titans Return KO, Maketoys, ToyWorld. As far as I know, those are your only choices right this moment.
>>
>>6396705
I should add that Chimungmung has Windsaber in-stock but after shipping, I may as well just buy a Masterpiece car that I don't have because bloody hell, the pricing. The Pink Assassin I bought on eBay was a fraction of that cost, even before shipping.
>>
>>6396598
Derp, forgot to add: this is a quick video someone posted on TFC's Raging Bull (Laster).
>>
>>6396726
>cheaper than the official one
Considering the official one is like, 16 bucks, how poor would I have to be for that to be a selling point?
>>
>>6396481
I'm not judging but...Nickel? Really? I don't see her appeal, she's like an 80 year old grandma.

>>6396726
There's also the tiniest Hardhead.
>>
>>6396708
The fact that he's voyager sized (which Hardhead honestly should be), has panels to cover the forearm gaps left by his hands, has better plastic tolerances, and is just a little over the same price as the official is more than enough for me. Same with their Skullcruncher KO and that one not only added forearm panels but also added a hinge to the rear croc legs so they could fold back and fill up his giant hollow legs. The improvements to Weijiang's TR figures are minor but at that price point, it's hard to argue with for a budget collector. Yeah, they fucked up some of the colors for whatever reason and added their own logo but those are honestly pretty easy fixes. Rubbing alcohol should be enough to strip the faction symbols off and replace them with reprolabels and the glaring color changes are still areas and would be easy enough to rectify with some paint.

I'm passing on their Brainstorm because I already have the previous official Voyager and while kind of simpler than the TR one, I think he's much much better overall so I'm happy sticking with that. I'm really hoping they give us a Weirdwolf because his TR was actually surprisingly awesome but suffered the same QC the rest of the line did and the cockpit hinges on mine cracked which is apparently a pretty widespread issue. Triggerhappy would be cool too.

>>6396745
Wei Jiang's are more like $20 but really, it's more about price versus quality. Hasbro used to charge us $12 for fantastic Deluxes like Sideswipe/Sunstreaker, Tracks/Wheeljack, Kup, Hound, etc and now they're charging us $16+ for toys with simpler engineering and significantly shittier plastic. Would you rather pay $16 for something smaller that might just up and fall apart if you look at it funny, has floppy joints, and half of it won't tab in properly or would you rather spend just $4 more for the same figure, bigger, a few minor engineering improvements,, less floppy joints, better tab tolerances, and much sturdier material?

They're both great. Cynicus you do need to be careful with, as he is rail thin because of his comic design.
>>
>>6396502
I love anarchus if only for the novelty of his altmode, but he's got some problems. His lack of thigh swivels really hurts his posability, and the weird center of gravity his backpack gives him doesn't help. He's overall solid though.

Cynicus is also pretty great, and poses like a motherfucker, but like the other guys said is very fragile. His altmode is also basically a gimmick because of how huge of a gun he ends up being, so if you're buying him for other toys to use, ymmv.
>>
>>6396708
Wei Jiang alternates between just upscaling generations figures with minor improvements, and totally re-engineering official toys into MPs.

They're doing a re-done battleblades bumblebee at the moment.

So is this a good thing or a bad thing? I'll be honest, no idea who Laster is, but the colors and look of him are pretty fuckin' nice, and I'm pretty damn tempted by the figure, but I don't want to get pic related happening to me.
>>
>>6397092
I'm like 90% sure he has a thigh swivel. I'll have to check mine I guess. Maybe it's limited by the shape of his thigh but i think one is there...
>>
>>6397125
There's a swivel right below the knee, but that does something completely different and I'm not sure if the designer realized it.
>>
>>6397124
TFC Poseidon is as perfect as a 3rd party combiner has ever been. The only downside is the lack of rubber pads on the bottoms of the gestalt feet because the weight flexes the hip ratchets just a smidge. A little rubber on the feet and he's a 10/10 combiner.
>>
>>6397124
I don't really get this image. In most cases, it doesn't really happen and we can tell pretty quickly if a combiner is going to be any good or not just from aesthetics alone. We don't know some of the minute details like how exactly transforming works or if the joints are solid or loose but it's usually pretty easy to tell right away if something is at least going to be decent or if we like how it looks.

Also, why Hades is the one used is confusing because I thought he was actually pretty well received. Not perfect, but I haven't heard any major complaints about him ever outside of this image. Using a screencap of a BobbySkullface review also doesn't mean a lot since he tends to pick apart everything and often comes across like he hates half of the figures he reviews anyway, especially combiners.

>>6397130
That's why I picked up some of that grippy foam rubber with adhesive. Cut a couple small pieces of that and stick them on the feet and it's much better. Can't for the life of me remember what it was called but if I do, I'll post it.
>>
>>6397141
Hades had shit useless floppy knees when combined. There is a reason the set went on a 60% discount a year after release.
>>
>>6397141
>I don't really get this image. In most cases, it doesn't really happen

Except it does. Theres very, very few GOOD 3P combiners. You can probably name all of the good ones on one hand and still have a finger or two left over. Off the top of my head: Feral Rex, Gravity Builder, Poseidon, and maybe-MAYBE-Quantron.

And thats it. The rest are pretty trashy overall. Thats why whenever a new combiner comes out, theres a lot of scrutiny and it's almost always best to wait.
>>
>>6397167
But the thing I don't understand is the bulk of bad combiners already looked like shit out of the gate by just not being visually appealing. The fact that they also happened to turn out to be an engineering mess with shit joints is moot at that point because nobody liked it on aesthetics alone so there was nothing to get your hopes up over in the first place. Like nobody got their hopes up for either of those Dinobot combiners because they looked fucking terrible. Nobody got their hopes up for TFC's Defensor because he looked terrible. People started getting their hopes up for TW Devy but that fell flat as soon as people saw the partsforming lower torso and this was before any of the figures were even released. If Hades is truly as bad as folks are suddenly saying, then he's the first case we've ever seen of the cycle. One case isn't sufficient evidence of a cycle. Not to mention in TFC's case, they're pretty clearly learning from past mistakes if we're going of of Poseidon as an example. That fucker is dead solid even without the extra bracing pieces and he still looks great with the stock neck joint. Replacement neck is better, yeah, but it doesn't doom the whole thing if you don't use it.

Not part of the 3P combiner wars. Not Devastator. Not one of the classic ones like Bruticus or Superion.

The fucking seacons.
>>
>>6397477
It's because no one would touch the deacons until all the more important combines were done, sometimes twice over, or more, so all that experience went into the seacons

>want to buy a few 3P 'bots

Help me choose here, guys. Current pool of stuff I'm mulling over is:
>THICChobby Feilong
>TFC Raging Bull
>IF Scorponok (bonus: convince me to buy Black Zarak version over regular colored version if you want to try, I'm kind of open to either)
>Generation Toy model kits of Megatron, Grimlock, and Optimus (is Optimus even out yet?)
>THS Soundwave

Feilong is in the lead of my possible choices here. I can afford 2 or so things, maybe more if I end up getting cheap stuff like those model kits in lieu of something bigger and more costly.

Not bad at all. Only real issue is his knees and that he has a kit that will give him hands and extra heads coming with some other figure.

>>
>>6397645
different anon here, but from my experience they're fairly limited because of how he transform like they barely bend 60~80 degree
>>
>>6397202
I don't own it but I DO dig it. I'm hoping for a KO from Wei Jiang that is the same size but just fixes the problems with the arms (gaps and APPARENTLY no wrist swivels even though it friggin' looks like he has wrist swivels so people are probably having a meltdown over something which is actually there anyway despite them saying it isn't).

I like the colouration better, the cockpit looks better (and even though it adds more kibble to the fusion cannon, I feel like it's more substantial-looking than the Voyager one), and I adore the battle mask gimmick.

I want a BIG Megatron, personally, and the Voyager doesn't cut it. Wei Jiang's Voyager upscale is NICE but I hate the red parts on it and it still doesn't have the battle mask or other things I prefer.

I think it's down to personal preference.
>>
>>6396745
That depends on where you live, though. Over here, they're the equivalent of about US$28, so Wei Jiang ends up cheaper (or the same, at worst) even after shipping.

>>
>>6397167
I honestly wouldn't even say Feral Rex. As good as he is, he still has too many problem for me to ever recommend him to someone, especially considering the price point.

I think Hercules is perfectly passable considering he was one of the first released, and he's at least enjoyable, problems aside. I think combiners got far too over-complicated after Hercules, especially in regards to TFC.
>>
>>6397437
I've heard Troll (Blot) is REALLY good... and that the rest range from average to mediocre at best. So if you want an awesome, expensive Blot, go for it. If you want an awesome, expensive Abominus... keep waiting.

Anybody know why you can't find Fansproject Megazero, Razerspike, or Downforce anywhere on the aftermarket, unless they are in a complete set?
>>
>>6397092
Thanks Anon. I watched some reviews on them and they look good but the problems that you all pointed out definitely seem to be ever-present. Still, I might get them at some point. I'll have to think on it because of price and because there are other figures I'd rather have first.
>>
>>6397818
I was wondering this myself but I think it's honestly because FP Core and Fansproject just fucked that whole thing up so badly. I only ever managed to get three of them, and since you can only buy them as a set now it seems, I just sold off mine (well, I still have one to sell, but no one wants it, and it doesn't seem worth selling at this point), and I'll just buy a complete set in the future when I have the cash.

Oh, since we're talking about combiners though: Glacialord is pretty sweet, if a brick (but it's meant to be).

>>

I want to say "not likely", but their stuff is pretty popular. I haven't followed them since their Shockwave but that sold out pretty much on release, though I assumed they upped their production numbers a little since then.

I'd say pre-order from BBTS or some place you can cancel from just in case, if you really want it, then try to find it some place cheaper on release else stick with wherever you pre-ordered it from.

Just got Raging Bull today. I do like him, and think that both modes look great.

But....It has some issues. At least for me one major problem is that the brain master platform that lil brain of skill(?) guy doesn't go up or down properly so my lil'guy gets stuck. The platform on the inside of RB's chest moves to the side way to much and has a ton of resistance to it so I'm not gonna force it. That aside, there were no real QC issues thankfully. I did need to trim the left over sprue marks on the headlight and taillight pieces. Nor did I have any floppy or loose joints to fuck things up.
One thing I don't like was the windshield wiper scratching the windshield.

I do think the arm movements are kinda shit, limiting his poses. And the leg transformation is friggin' annoying. It is complex and you need to watch the angles of all the arms that everything is attached to, if you want shit to line up right. And the feet are odd, still getting used to posing it.
>>

Is the second head that comes with him have painted eyes? I assume it doesn't use the gimmick. How poseable are each of the heads? It looks like he has a balljoint but I never see him look upward in any photos.
>>
>>6399067
I do love Hades, but combined mode is a bitch to pose. It is doable, and I use some blue funtac on the feet to keep him from doing the splits. The individual bot kick ass though. If you can get them for cheap, do it.

>>6399126
No painted eyes - just blue light piping, which looks great. ill post a pic of his alt head in a bit. The alt head can go swivel right and left well enough, and he can look up but not down. With the brain master he has just a couple degrees left and right to move sadly. If they made the little brain master's legs fold up somehow it would have been just fine.
and some of the arm issues.

You can really see some of the engineering that went into the seacons present here.

So my brain master port is fucked up, it won't let the lil'brain guy stay still to push up. Or Rather the little platform starts to rotate and straight launch the brain master out. Its hard to see in the pic but the platform moves over to the right side.

Well now that I've worked it a few times, it goes up and down okay but the part where the brain master secures its feet still wants to rotate forward. damn

TFW "horror" story
>An update on my Toyworld Constructor struggle:

"1. I received the v2 boxset in April from TFS Express. The first bot I take out of the box, Concrete, as two duplicate arms, meaning he can't transform into vehicle or combined modes.
2. I contact TFS Express, who do not offer to replace him but do say they will chase Toyworld for replacement parts. They also recommend I do the same and give me an email address.
3. I do just that, both emailing Toyworld and using their dedicated replacement parts website. It's June, and I'm yet to be acknowledged.
4. I buy a replacement Concrete myself from eBay on the presumption that I can re-sell him once this farce is actually resolved.
5. TFS Express do eventually source the parts for me, although they will only ship them as part of my next order.
6. The parts arrive with Fanstoys Phoenix in early June (TFS held Phoenix a week for me as I was on holiday).
7. I sit down today to finally replace the faulty arm... only to discover that I've been sent the arms for a different bot entirely."

Not that anon but it seems silly to engineer a toy with a swappable head that requires screws being loosened or removed to swap the damn head.
>>
>>6399179
Which head are you using though, anon? You can only use it with the static head, and that picture appears to have the ball-jointed head attached.
>>
>>6399337

Honestly it seems silly to engineer a toy with some kind of fucky headmaster configuration that can't move it's head if you use the headmaster. They should've just given him a regular head with proper articulation in the first place.
>>
>>6399340
I mean, it's a Brainmaster so it's kind of a given, but what they SHOULD have done is either engineered it like Masterpiece Star Saber, where the "brain" part is actually already inside the head, or just made the chamber in the chest rotatable too. Or I suppose they could have just given the Brainmaster waist articulation so he could turn with the head.

Either way, I don't think they thought it through very much, but I'm personally just happy he HAS a Brainmaster.
>>
>>6399338
Ya, normal head for now. I'm debating if want to take RB apart to see why his brain master stand wants to flip over when I try to raise it.

If anyone gets Raging bull too, post here if you have this same issue.

>>6399340
>>6399343

Right they should have made it to work like a normal head. Or if the little guy folded up or had a waist swivel it would have been fine.

I'll screw with it some more to see how it goes.

FWIW, when I can get the brain master in, he can look down a bit more but then the up motion gets restricted. You can see that RB then has a bit of yellow "neck" Also I have stick the BM dude to the head a slide him in through the top since the gimmick failed on mine.

It's limited in a couple ways, the upper arm swivel, if moved off of center you can no longer use the arm ratchet to go back and forward with whole arm. The way the arms are attached to the torso is odd... It works for posing if you are going to take a pic but will look real weird at other angles as you move around the figure.
Its kinda hard to describe, sorry, I'll need to take some more pics when I can

Weird, Kapowtoys don't have WJ product. Also I don't know if you meant the movie one or the MPP10, so I will just list both.

In that case: There is a Dutch store that sells the movie one (MPP10 is out of stock). But it's pretty expensive.

https://www.tf-robots.nl/en_GB/a-43114606/wei-jiang/weijiang-m-01-commander-evasion-mode-prime-os/

If you don't mind importing, TF-Direct has MPP10 for a good price. With free shipping worldwide.

https://tf-direct.com/free-shipping-weijiang-mpp10-optimus-prime-oversized_p1341.html

Then there is this guy on TFW, who does have a really good track record and free worldwide shipping, but I'm always a bit hesitant about people without stores.

Probably also why yes, but them not believing he's not a character who'd sell was an explicitly stated reason.

The "not a character that will sell" thing feels more like them seeing if they can get push back to convince other people to come up with other designs that they might actually like. Not for me though, the only thing that I could even consider buying would just be a RTS Lugnut with better articulation. I love that big guy.

To anyone that has him, how is Boreas?
I've always liked Cyclonus, I've got the Generations Cyclonus in the Challenge colors,s and he's pretty great, though his leg's a little loose because the ball join just won't sit right in there.

Pictures of Boreas look pretty good, and it seems his engineering is better than the previous uses of the mold. But I've previously seen people talk about him in pretty poor context.

..Still need that Striker Manus...

I'm not a huge fan, was definitely thinking of popping the tips off and maybe modding them to clip off and on.

Fuck off officialcuck, that mold is a piece of shit

Spike tips are supposed to pop off, but tab is glued into a pipe. If you get rid of a glue you can unplug spike and get hand cannons look.

Looks pretty cool, I always liked Movie Ratchet's design. Shame it doesn't transform but hey, it looks neat.

>Shame it doesn't transform
Then what is the point
>>
>>6402985
Some people like 100% accurate and highly articulated representations of a Transformers' robot mode. I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of non-transforming Transformers but I can see the appeal, especially in the case of designs where an accurate rendition couldn't possibly transform.
>>
>>6402989
I keep saying this is what they should do for the stupid G1 Sunbow cartoon fans, because they always nitpick the fuck out of every actual transforming figure because their manchild brains can't wrap around the idea of physical limitations and compromise and they hate that it doesn't look identical to their shitty korean animation. Then 99% of them just stick the thing on a shelf in robot mode and never transform it anyway.
>>
>>6402989
I would accept this for G1 Megatron, never liked how his alt mode is an handgun
Of course best of both worlds would be a G1 looking Megs who turns in a tank, basically his Devastation version

>basically his Devastation version
I want this so bad, but the prevalent geewunner market means that most 3P companies will pander to them by making handguns, since that's what Hasbro themselves CAN'T do. CW Megatron was a bit of a disappointment. To date, my favorite Megatron figure is the silver Takara repaint of the Legends class tank.

Come to think of it, whatever happened to that 3P Megatron that triple-changed between a tank and a gun? Did that ever happen? It looked oddly styled, but still neat.

Huh, I have the Hasbro release of that (sans Chop Shop). I always liked that figure, shame about the lack of thigh swivels though. DESU a Voyager sized Megs that used the same basic transformation would be great.

Movie designs are a pain in the ass to be happy with both forms when it's a main line toy.

I'd be happy to have accurate scaled well detailed robot modes for the cast.
