Got my ANAD Spidey/MJ 2 pack. It's cool having MJ she's pretty good. The paint apps on mine are pretty good, I like how they did the wash on her jeans. ANAD Spidey is pizza Spidey with a different paintjob. The Peter Parker head fits just fine on Pizza Spidey. Although my pizza Spidey always was tough to swap heads, ANAD is a lot easier and it doesn't scare me that I'll break the neck joint like with Pizza Spidey.

I finally picked up the 2nd Form of Onslaught after years of eyeing it. Now that I have it, I'm a little disappointed the arms aren't as posable as I thought. On a related note, I just read the joint I'm referring to can indeed be moved, but it's incredibly hard. Anyone have any tips on making that joint movable? Blow dry for a couple of minutes maybe?

My general advice for all plastic-only toys is to soak it in a bath of hot water.

Hair dryer works OK for me for small joints or joints close to the surface, but deeper or larger joints take too long or the heat doesn't penetrate enough.

Do hot water, let it soak for awhile. Come back, try getting it to move back and forth. If there's a gap at all, drop some sewing machine/mineral oil into the space and try to work it in.

I have a couple sculpting tools that I can use to wedge open a tight joint so I can drop the oil into it.

A rag or cotton ball wipes up the oil residue pretty well afterwards.

Say, has anyone had ONE:12 Daredevil for a while and left him posed with his suit all bent up or using the wire accessory? I'm wondering if leaving him displayed like this will fuck up either his suit (by making the bent parts of the rubber at the joints permanently warped) or the wire.

The arms can be popped out like any BAF part but the shoulders are green. Same with putting the SDCC arms on the BAF, it will not match the shirt or skin.

Don't know about the suit, but keeping the wire in one position for a long time is fine as long you don't bend it in sharp angles multiple times. The way that wires work is that you're basically bending really soft metal, and while it can hold its position well, bending it enough times will obviously deteriorate the metal itself hence why it can break over time. Basically, keep it in one designated position (preferably with as little sharp angles as possible) and if you don't play with it too many times, it should survive longer.

I believe there's a trick with dish soap. It's something to do with the oils from the paint fusing the plastic and making joints tougher to move than they should be. Simce dish soap dissolves oil, it apparently works. So I've heard, but it usually works for me.

The Hasbro one's alright, could be better if you've got decent painting skills. There's a QMX mini coming out, nice paint but plastic and not much bigger than the Hot Wheels. QMX is also working on a much bigger masterpiece version like their Serenity, but it'll no doubt cost an arm and a leg. I think there are also some model kits floating around but they're pretty expensive as well.

I wish Hasbro would bring back Action Fleet.

They've never put a comic book steve head in the movie steve figures. It's different heads. They just did a lazy job. It's an attempt, but a shit one. Evans likely never consented to a face scan or something and they had to eyeball it. It's there, but the coloring is off too.

Is it just me or does MCU Vulture seem to have two different sets of wings based on the trailers?

Looking through clips and trailers, it's almost as if he initially has a smaller one (the boat sequence), while later on he seems to get a bigger one (mainly seen in the original trailer which also looks closer to the BAF). I mean it could just be that they changed up the CG design from the trailers to the final movie but I can also easily imagine him upgrading them after a first encounter with Spidey or something.

The smaller wings of the first set have the turbines deep set into the actual wing structure, in which every turn made by the turbines would leave a huge empty gap under each wing. With the bigger wings in the second set, the turbines move independently from the larger wing structure, as if they're attached to a second pair of smaller "wings" at the back (similar to the BAF set).

Beyond that, the overall volume of the second set is much too large for them to simply be caused by shifting metal plates with how the "feathers" are clearly positioned far away from the turbines. Compare that to the the smaller set which has the "feathers" clearly fixed at the edge of the rims holding the turbines and how they clearly can't expand further out. Also the second set has the blatantly large "tail" backpack running down behind Vulture's body as if the entire wing structure is one whole unit (again like the BAF). By comparison, the first set has a huge segmented gap separating the pair of wings with no "tail" backpack in sight.

Admittedly, it gives me comfort that the BAF wings might not actually be that far off from how they'll look in the film, not to mention how they could very well be based on an upgraded design that Toomes might use in the climax. The only thing that looks to be blatantly missing with the actual Vulture figure is that it looks like he's meant to have a metal armature for each arm in the film, while also having "Shocker"-styled attachments held in each hand.

Bandai and Hot Toys aren't paying extra money for that likeness. There's no stipulation that it can be used for adult collector toys only, since the Marvel Select toy doesn't use it either... or maybe it does, and it's just a poor sculpt? It's not like the Bandai or Figma looked like him either, but at least you can tell they tried.

Which would explain why the Hasbro one doesn't look like him, since Diamond and Hasbro usually share the same sculptors.

If there's any bootlegs you wanted to try but they were too much, a few sellers have marked they're stuff down to $10. I think it's a mistake because every seller I saw with lowass prices randomly has started either saying they're out of stock after a day or raising the price back up even more than before. Check it out though, I got a select Rhino for $7 last night and now the same guy has them for $37
