So, this is the exclusive for this year's SDCC. Pretty neat.
>>6380502
More pics
It better just be an iron banner ghost that's exclusive, with other types being mass retail. I'm gonna smack a bitch if a brick built ghost is just a one off
>>6380518
>>6380502
i never played the game but i am getting lots of this Destiny minifigs and sets.
Wish stuff like Wakfu or Wildstar had gotten Mega bloks lines, but now WS is a corpse and Wakfu is...well the cartoons and comics seem ok at least
>>6380502
there are a couple on ebay for like $100 each
>>6380518
wow
>>6380579
Is it limited?
>>6380715
it says its an exclusive (dunno from what con/event)
>>6380741
It's the sdcc exclusive for this year. They usually do con exclusives, but are little figures in a baggie, which are given away. This is the first big one. It will cost $40 at the event.
>>6380765
Second big one. They did this with the Locke/Chief/Arbiter box set
>>6381281
>>6381752
Ah yeah, the icons pack. I had forgotten about that one.
These things are comfy as hell when they're decorated
>>6382069
>>6382069
They are really great. Get a couple more and you can build a mini base.
>>6382417
>Get a couple more and you can build a mini base.
This is probably their best value; The bulk of the container itself makes it a cheap means of making large structures.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TQjX1Vypmg
I really like the new female body
Can't you usually order these "Con Exclusive" things off Hasbro's site during the con?
>>6383969
Yes but you have to go to the convention to pick up your order.
>>6383969
Yeah, but this is mattel. You can order them online but have to pick it up in person.
>>6383722
been dying for female bodies that were cod/destiny scale
>>6383722
i am more curious fr all the sets it shows on the back of the box near the end.
Seems theres gonna be a female fig with an armory.
>>6384361
Yeah, it's on the official mega site.
i am interested in these 2 sets
The Goliath Tank
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khFabAQ9ZTI
and this Cabal Gladiator set
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJUgeH72KzA
>>6384339
I'm so happy we're getting females in both lines now.
>>6380550
SDCC 2017 mattel exclusive
>>6382069
you could make a really good bomb shelter out of that
Can someone post perspective pics of this guy's head?
>>6385239
Huh, Jang hasn't reviewed that for some reason.
>>6385239
Hope this helps. I ditched the red exo because it's too bright. Honestly, the colors of this set are pretty horrible.
>>6386067
Afaik, he buys the sets in stores and I know this set still has limited distribution in the US. It's everywhere in Mexico though.
>>6386106
Yeah, I noticed he hasn't done the jetpack or advanced enforcer either.
And Mega distribution is entirely fucked, but most of it is all on Amazon, so I don't see how he never got to it.
>>6386160
Yeah, it's odd. I like his reviews and really wanted to see one for the technodrome, but it seems he never got too into tmnt.
>>6386106
Thanks. I think the silver boots with the red stripes would go nicely on the Starwinder hunter and the red laser rifle would go on a high tech Nod soldier.
>>6386160
>No set with a Titan ever reached my country
>MB is the only company selling the Titan set on Amazon
>MB doesn't ship to my country
FFFFFFFF-!
>>6380502
Ok, how expensive should I expect this to be after SDCC?
Found challenger helioskrill today,
Local store had just stocked a box of challenger, so i was able to confirm that only one UR figure is placed in each box
Code for it was:
A25116ES
>>6386340
You know there are like 5 different box set codes, right?
Plus most of them are already confirmed.
http://www.spartanbloks.com/forums/showthread.php/halo-mega-construx-challenger-series-codes-10016/index.html
>>6386271
>starwinder
Fuck. I bought it and then sold it to a guy for retail to help him out. I never saw a starwinder anywhere again.

I did actually.
Managed to snag,
>atriox
>hellbringer
>silver spartan

>recruit
>>6386663
I wish I knew how to ship stuff. I'd ship you a couple of Starwinders in exchange for a couple Titan armories. Will you be visiting another country for summer?
>>6386692
>Must have been a new run but god damn.
I've personally been trying to keep the Warrior thread codes organized, but as my local Walmart is still on Challenger (and I've got all I've wanted from that series), I haven't been able to check Warrior myself.
>>6386692
That feeling when you know you're being watched closely on camera because they think you're stealing the toys.
>>6387280
Let them. They'll be the ones who'll be embarassed if they search you and find nothing.
>>6387305
I don't give a fuck about security cameras, but a couple walmarts have started to encase the bagsmin a big clear container, so to check the codes you have to call someone from the toy dept, have them open the box and then wait next to you with while you check the codes on each bag. It really does makes me feel autistic.
>>6387380
Reminds me of those, "You know you are currently residing in the ghetto if you observe..." internet memes with the security tags on Slim Jims. That being said, one time at my Walmart every single one of the bags were cut open, but the contents seemed to still be present. Even more strange, the shelf they were displayed on is right next to the massive 'back room' door, so you have employees walking past every other minute, how no one noticed someone cutting them all open, or someone having the balls to do it with employees walking right past them, is confusing.
Just don't go to Walmart for blind bags.
>>6385239
>never even saw this set until this thread
>can only find it for $25 or above
>mfw
>>6387507
I have it and it's not worth it. The colors are horrible. The first set was way better.
Jang has pokeman reviews up
My TRU has the CoD hovercraft for $99.99. Would i be stupid to pass this up? Does any one have this set and can give some input?
>>6388111
They just had a 'buy one get one free' sale there a week ago. You could've gotten two of them for that price.
>>6388136
Aaaaaand i went back and bought it. Getting a second one free would've been great but there was only 1 left anyway. This box is massive and I'm very excited about building this monster.
>>6388276
Meant to post pic of giant box
>>6388279
Consider me jealous. This is my grail. Post process pics while building it, that would be cool.
>>6388331
I will but it'll be awhile before i can get started on it unfortunately. This box is sexy tho
my TRU had some of the pokemon sets, none of the big ones though, just these little poke balls

I made an Orc.
We need Orcs.
Why is there no fantasy line with Orcs?
>>6389970
Magikarp is cool and all but I'm gonna need that gyarados. Does it have an actual release date?
>>6390022
Didn't Kre-O D&D have Orcs?
>>6390022
there were plenty of WoW orcs
>>6390069

Finally, sniper outpost at an affordable price.
You bet your ass I'm gonna clear every store in my area of these
>>6391001
I like the black body. The silver armor is too bright, though. Also it's odd it only includes a gun, considering the challenger (the best series of all) odsts had a guns and a backpack.
I just got Star Trek off amazon today in the mail thanks to some anon in the other mega thread who tipped us on it
I'm making it now and I couldn't help but notice my ass is fucking lucky
I got two uruhas
>>6391020
It could just be using the smaller backpack, we haven't seen it from behind
Decided to rebuild my base into something that better fits my desk. Added a sparrow bay and armory to it. Wanted to have the radome tower free standing, but the pieces couldn't handle it, so I had to build half of it into a room. As it is, the dome will still fall over for, like, no reason.
>>6391213
Trying to put figures/furniture into a room after it's already built is a pain in the ass
>>6391221
Armory. There's swords and guns on the right wall too
>>6391217
Thanks
>>6391228
Extra little building from leftover pieces
>>6391217
One of the TMNT torsos, some heavy soldier bits, and a brute head with green paint.
Did have to clip a banished helmet.
>>6391252
Nice. I was considering do something similar with a TMNT torso and a WoW orc head but that looks much better
>>6391208
Man, your base is amazing. What's the recipe?
>>6391336
3 TMNT sewer lairs, 2 CoD desert radome sets, plus whatever background/terrain pieces that came with battlepacks that I could find
Oh, and ~15 Terminator human soldier packs for floodlights/computers/crates
>>6391026
>file not named "transporter malfunction"
>>6391504
>~15 Terminator human soldier packs
Jesus. What do you do with all the figs? In your pics there's only Destiny figs.
>>6391527
When i get enough of them built up, I throw them up on ebay as a lot. Helps recoup the costs of sets bought just for scenery.
found this guy today at Target with the Bulbasaur and Pikachu set
no Gyarados or Charizard

https://youtu.be/oprIEViK350
>>6391645
man, dunno if i wanna jump into those...maybe only weird ones like Tentacruel and the magnet one, or graveler if they ever make those
>>6391568
Link to your ebay?
>>6391660
I don't have anything up right now, that was just the last lot I did and I've only got ~10 CoD guys right now
>>6391568
those gasmask heads also come in terminator sets? thought they were in CoD exclusively
>>6391678
They are CoD guys. Only the guys with the baseball caps and grey uniforms are from Terminator. If you look clpsely, they are smaller than the CoD guys, closer to Halo size
My local walmart has all the pokemon sets stocked, anything worth picking up?
>>6392156
Gyarados and Charizard are the only two that don't look super weird to me. I'll probably get Magikarp too tho
>>6391070
It's confirmed just the gun. Still a neat fig. I'll get a couple.
>>6392297
Looks like I gotta go dig up my old black backpacks, still not sure about how bright that silver is gonna be
>>6392318
This was posted on fb. Looks almost shiny.
>>6392332
It's not nearly as bright as I thought it was, definitely gonna get a few of these guys
Local TRU had everything except gyarados but I ended up only picking up abra. I may get the mid level starters but I haven't decided yet. And I'll get magikarp if I get gyarados.
Abra's kind of a silly brick built thing, but I find it really endearing. Probably not worth the $7 after tax at TRU but he seems to have the most articulation and best build of wave 1 and I wanted to check the line out.
>>6391349
Is this any specific set? I want to get a small building type thing like this.
I don't have an XBone, and don't plan on getting one. Who wants these?
>>6392407
Well the wall in with the window is from the desert outpost set, pic related is my build with it
>>6392649
>forgot pic like an autist
>>6388408
So i just started building the hovercraft and it doesn't have numbered bags. There are no more little plastic bowls in my house and I'm running low on paper cups for sorting. 2800 pieces looks way more intimidating spread out like this. Any tips for sorting this mess or speeding up the piece finding process?
>>6392407
It's my pic. Like >>6392649 said, it has the desert outpost wall and the roof is the recon outpost (pic related). The back wall is bits an pieces from sets. The door is barricaded with a desk from the zombie office set.
>>6392658
Lol, they never do and on the bigger sets it's a pain in the ass. What I did for the technodrome is just stack all same pieces together, then use a lego tool to separate them, pic very related.
>>6392658
I'd just build it down there on the hardwood floor, that's what I normally do for bigger sets. Can't drop stuff if you're already down there. It's like building on a giant table.
>>6392756
>The Lost City of Megblokia
>>6392631
Can I have them please?
[email protected]
>>6392756
Oh man i like this maybe not for everything but it will definitely help with my lack of bowls/cups.
>>6392763
I'd love to lay everything out and work down there but i have to be able pack it all up when I'm done building for the day. The wife doesn't want bricks everywhere and the kids can't be trusted.
>>6392825
Ah, the kids change things. I currently don't have to worry about that so I didn't consider it. Maybe ziploc bags instead.
>>6392825
I have 3 cats. If the set is big, I wait for the weekend to built it all in one day. If there's no time to finish it, the remaining pieces go into tuppwerware.
>>6392821
Delivered.
>>6392875
what truck is that?
>>6392880
Modified the one from the Drone Outbreak set.
Anyone here mix the world builders anime faces with destiny/cod bodies?
They better be planning to release my baby at some point since they're giving Zavala Raze Lighter in that one set
>>6392658
>Non-numbered bags for a 2800 piece set.
Sounds like torture. That's why I didn't buy the Hovercraft when Toysrus had them for buy one, get one free at $99.
>>6380502
lol this is my first time on this board and I honestly thought "toys" was going to be all dildos and vibrators and shit. I'm happily surprised lol.
>>6392875
Hey man could i get one?

>>6393702
I'll send you a few of them, still haven't used them all
>>6393712
Hey thanks man
>>6393694
That's a cool ass looking thing, what is it?
>>6393801
Spiral zone gashapon
>>6393652
Well, they're building blocks so you're supposed to enjoy the challenge. Personally I buy mega for the figs, but it's fun to dump all the bags on the desk and spend a couple of hours building.
Do you guys think they'll sell a similar item, or resell it at NYCC?
Got two more zombie diners and finally built a complete restaurant. Would need 5 of them to do it right , though, cuz I was running out of bricks by the time I started the kitchen and had to cheat it a bit.
Truly, it has become, a "Zombie Transit Diner."
>>6394596
fuck, I haven't even seen a single one of these anywhere
looks great anon
>>6394596
nough muh gawd thats fucking impressive
>>6394601
Check them discount stores yo. (Ross, Marshalls, Essex, Tuesday Morning) $15 a pop, and pretty good value
>>6394039
Who knows with mega? They didn't do it with the icons pack though. If you're wondering if you should pay scalper prices, I'd say go for it. The only other 2 Destiny exclusives go for crazy prices now.
>>6394596
Now this is amazing. I'd love to have something like this. Reminds me of resident evil 3. Great build, anon.
>>6394596
How the fuck did you manage to do this? I'm tempted to give it a whirl myself but I'm terrified of fucking up.

lol fuk locke
>>6394653
Agreed. same problem. Wanted to just get a Troop builder. nope.
On the plus side Dolarama sells single figures.
>>6395025
Shit, I should put them on the BST then.

>>6389970
>>6395885
any idea on how to go about making a sardaukar?
>>6396334
Hard to say. From aesthetics to colour scheme to type of armour, the Sardaukar are very different with each iteration. Personally I'd suggest a heavy armour/coat combo. Preferably either in a brown (desert) palette or a dark palette to look more menacing. The coat adds flair and ties the figure to the environment. Or maybe add samurai-ish bits.
Personally I'm a little limited on parts, but one build I was thinking was armored boots, Atlas thigh belts (thinner than vanilla thigh belts), Warlock skirt, Atlas Troop armour and backpack, Raphael's shoulder pads, Rappel Ghost arms, and the Tau-looking Warlock helmet.
Do you have anything with a lion on it?
Hotwheels please make your vehicles a little bigger.
>no morsel articulation dragons universe
>mega will never give their old lines any love
>>6396854
I never got literally the one single figure from the entire line I wanted..
>>6396806

>>6396868
I don't think this line had a bad figure mold in it
>>6397005

>>6397502
It's under the collectors line which I would assume means no stickers
>>6397571
Oi mate, don't open up with "I don't want to sound like x" or "this is going to sound like y". You're telling the other person what to think of you and you're sabotaging yourself.
I agree about the figures and judging from all the single packs MB sells, they do too. If I were a kid the figures would be my favourite childhood toys.
Good thing MB picked up licenses, and these certain ones in particular. Playmobil only started just now with Dragons and Ghostbusters, both of which are past their expiration date.
>>6397968
>Good thing MB picked up licenses
yfw these lines turned mega into an actual brick set company with competing products to Lego and not some shitty knock-off.
>Better figures
>comparable plastic/parts quality
>really good print quality and no more stickers
Ross just keeps them coming. Excellent base building fodder.
>>6380573
>Wakfu
yeah, i would love to army build Xelors and Srams, aswell as getting tons of mini items and houses.
Wildstar, i do love some of the aesthetics and the Exile Tanks, but the thing is kinda dead by now
>>6398623
>tfw no ross in canada
>>6398699
In Canada,
Dollarama has some stuff.
It varies from nothing to a bunch of the divers peg-warming to an actual assortment.
>>6398747
I've already bought at least 3 of all the cod mini's
>>6398623
The sniper recon is great for base bulding. In fact those 3 are. The horseback has to be my absolute favorite cod set.
>>6388331
Section 1 is well underway! About to start building some of the compartments. Other than the occasional long quest to find pieces this is a pretty enjoyable build.
>>6400042
Is that half of it or all? Could you post a fig next to it to see how tall it is?
Trying to get Mega Bloks in France is infuriating. There's a few Call of Duty sets on amazon, only a few two or three years old Halo sets and they don't have anything Destiny, even on the official website.
I remember stores being full of those dragon knights back when I was a kid, it's frustrating.
>>6400218
Lol, even Turkey has new mega bloks
>>6400204
So far it's about 6 bricks tall. This is a little less than a third of it's completed length. Sorry i don't have a mega bloks figure by me for me the pic.
>>6400333
B-but they come with the set anon!
>>6400635
Right!? It's triggering me.
>>6400635

>>6400789
Is that in all stores? Because that price is kinda crazy.
>>6400811
wasp has only shown up in one chain store (bigw) so far but not many places even stock mega bloks here
>>6395034
LMAO
This is 10 bones at Target, worth?
>>6400983
I'd say yeah. The Atheon is fragile, like the Cyclopses, but it's a great enemy figure. The guardian is ok and the flying fish-thing (I don't play Destiny) is neat. I paid full price and don't regret it.
>>6400221
Sure, but even as autistic as I am, between living under a dictator and having megabloks, I'm not picking the megabloks.
>>6400854
Mega has kind of fallen off here, outside of EB, Big Dub and Mr Toys I never see any sets elsewhere. Even then they rarely stock most of the lines
>>6386663
What country are you from that you can't find Starwinder, anon? Just curious.
>>6401776
Mexico. I saw it all over the place last year, bu they haven't brought more. It's weird because we get everything else and usually before other countries, I mean, I just saw pic related in a store a few hours ago.
>>6401936
And this.
I'm glad Mega Construx/Bloks general is always so comfy, seems like half the threads I'm in on this board have more autists arguing about toys than rather actually doing anything with them
>>6401969
There's nothing to argue about. New Mega kicks ass.
>>6401969
It's beacause sitting in bed building a WW2 jeep, while having a beer and your cat asleep next you is the life. There's nothing to argue about, just build, share and enjoy.

we can have it be co-owned by a few of the anons who frequently post here.
>>6403080
I have an account, I mean, it's like any website. My issue with the official message boards is, well, I don't want to be a dick but they are truly, 100% autistic. Just lurking a bit it's cringe inducing.
>>6403373
I wouldn't call it autism, I'd call it younger kids getting their first taste of an online community on a site dedicated to a toyline they like
https://youtu.be/l4pfzmerC8A
>know basically nothing about Destiny
>see the Arcadia Jumpship fir 15 bucks at Target
>have heard a few nice things about it
>pass on it anyways
Did I make a mistake?
I also grew up indoctrinated with Legp and nothing else, so that may have had a factor. Definitely open to try other company sets if they're good enough.
>>6403523
Buy mega if you want micro actuuin figures with cool vehicles. If you want to buy constructions bricks, keep buying lego.
Mega has gone a long way and their sets area great quality now, there's almost no specialized pieces anymore and the minifigures are amazing, ao I really recommend you try it out.
>>6403523
>indoctrinated with Legp
MB isn't really a competitor with LEGO anymore. There figures are awesome and make it something else entirely.
>>6403523
go back and buy it
as someone who grew up surrounded by lego, I know you must be feeling suspicious about MB/MC
trust me when I say, If you want an upgrade to lego, this is the way to go.
(plus, that set usually retails for over 3x that price)
>>6403576
>upgrade to lego
Mega has improved a lot but I still wouldn't go that far
At most their figures are an improvement and even then I'd say it's less that either are better than it is that they're going for different audiences.
>>6403650
I think upgrade means is not about quality and more about theme. I mean, check pic related. I love both sets, but pesonally I lean towards a more "realistic" look (yes, I know they are based on wildley different franchises), so, to me, moving from Lego's more "family friendly" look seems like an upgrade.
>>6403523
You sound fucked up
Go get that set
Trust us.
Picked these up today.
And with this purchase, I've cleaned out all the mega bloks from all the Gamestops within 20 miles of me.
(Except for the Cabal Interceptors. Holy crap, did they over order on those)
>>6404700
those low prices make me wish i lived in the us.
the only mb sets for cheap around here are the single-figure mini sets form 2015 at $3 each

That's about how much they are here on clearance
>>6403731
the jeep looks a little big. I really want one, Ill probably have to rebuild it to be more in scale
>>6405511
Yeah, it's way too big, like the humvees. It should be easy to modify though.
Got this badboy today. It's a pretty good set, well priced too.

>>6407696
I wonder if there was something wrong with that run or something, because on mine, his left arm won't stay attached at the elbow.
But an obvious defect like that, they should replace if you contact them
Strictly been a LEGO guy. But I saw the Charizard and Gyrados sets at Target with the name Mega Construx - not realizing it was Mega Bloks until after I opened them and saw the name on the bricks. I have to say though, I don't blame them for the name change. These sets are nowhere near as shitty and poor quality as the occasional Mega Blocks sets I got as a kid. The quality still isn't as good as LEGO - but it's absolutely good enough to warrant future purchases.
>>6407823
figures are absolutely amazing. idc about pokemon sets but the cod/halo/destiny line has amazing figures
>>6407740
I checked the replacement form and the thing is I don't have the box anymore and they ask for two different codes that is on the box
what do I do in this case? don't have the receipt either
>>6407626
What province? What store?
>>6390022
Dragons had the vorgans, which are orc-like creatures
>>6408156
Modern line, with micro action figures.
Not old Lego knock offs.
>>6407622
I see what mega did there.
im gonna have a busy weekend
>>6410575
I got Gyrados and Charizard, but I can't build them until Thursday, post pics
>>6410575
which pokes are out? i only like the weird monstrous looking ones and some of the bugs
>>6410604
these are all the ones they released for wave 1
>>6410707
I hope they do sandshrew/slash. Or dragonite if theyre only doing g1 mons.
>>6411099
a sandslash with actual quill parts would be awesome, but I'm guessing that if they do a dragonite it will have a similar build to charizard.
Abooga booga booogaaaa
>>6410707
lets hope for a wave 2. this has more potential then the Ionix ones
>>6411099
>if theyre only doing g1 mons
god i hope they branch out into later gens. i'm so sick of all the gen 1 and if you're lucky sometimes gen 2 dick sucking
>>6411649
Trust me anon I know your pain. But the reality is if its not gen 1 nobody cares.
>>6411743
if they did the legendaries from the new games those would probably sell well

"I am an alien Iamanalien Iamanalien Iamanalien"
>>6413115
Yup. I still wish I had bought them when they first started coming out. It would have been worth it just for the baseplates. They had a pretty damn sizable place in the building blocks section iirc.
built my Gyarados

That actually looks good! Does the mouth open and closes?

most of my builds wouldnt be possible without them
Started building my Interceptor on the coffee table and eventually moved to the floor, my cat Roshi got interested
>>6414269
Heh cute. Mine just do the feline equivalent of rolling their eyes most the time.
>>6413131
I remember the displays being big, right around the time Lego was pushing Knights Kingdom, so I'm sure they were competing. I still have the parts to Portal of Fire somewhere, might try and rebuild it, they'd just need to be cleaned.
>>6413422
Awesome, I love those textured walls.
Also just remembered this guy had a second face. It's the thought that counts, I guess

Just got a helioskrill from a Challenger pack from Walgreens. The right hand is stressed to the point his gun falls out. I messaged the Facebook page, and they told me to email mattel. I've sent two emails to Mattel and haven't gotten a response. Wat do?
Question to y'all- what would you value someone's collection of Halo minis at? I'm considering offloading mine, and I've got... maybe a hundred? Maybe more? Like 10-12 of them are gummy bears, don't know if that changes things.
>>6416042
pics?
>>6416042
It's hard to say as there isn't a developed aftermarket like for Lego, and much less demand it seems. I've seen several collections of value going for practically peanuts on kijiji (bought a lot for $15 Cdn that was easily over a hundred bucks worth originally) while ebay tends to have shall we say "collector prices" on the regular.
I know what I'd like to get for pic related if I were ever to part with it, could roughly estimate value based on where each fig came from... but I know I'd be lucky to get a fraction of that.
>>6416061
$15 cdn?
what province?
email me, I'm interested.
[email protected]
>>6416071
Re-read it my friend, I was saying I bought some at that price (pic related).
>>6416075
I am awhere of this, and am still interested in the figures, shoot me an email if you're willing to sell
>>6415908
When I had to get replacement parts for a kit I never received any confrimation and eventually just the parts showed up.

thats a great shot. upload it on the mega collectors site
>>6416393
Thanks.
I was at a cottage for a week and I was out doing a day with these guys and a 2 days with Joes and an afternoon with LEGO. My girlfriend is a most tolerant person and she puts up with my madness.
>>6416542
Your girlfriend sounds fat.
>>6416570
Nope.
Just tolerant.
For her it was a working vacation and she spent a lot the sunnier hours on a laptop.
Just discovered that some of the newer CoD figures have removable boots.
>>6416762
prosthetic legs when?
Moving along on the hovercraft slow and steady. Only thing left on section 1 is the skirt. Inability to organize continues to be a pain in the ass but I'm getting pretty good at quickly scanning bags for random pieces.
>>6416762
>>He got the boot.
Dark Spirit ATRIOX has invaded

Speaking of, I finally spotted Heroes Series 4 at a Walmart here, and was it a sight to behold. A whopping two Dares, two Madsens, about a dozen Decimus and a lone Series 3 Atriox. No Cutter, no Wetwork, no other blue guy. I got Dare and a Decimus but it was a bit frustrating, hopefully they or one of the "pocket supercentres" Walmart has sprouted all around here will get in fresh boxes but I'm not holding my breath. The latter have precious little these days of Halo or CoD, a minimum of half their already limited Mega shelfspace going to TMNT, DM3 and now Poke.
Ohhh shit, I can't wait! I picked up a bunch of CoD Dome sets, a few of those cargo containers and few of the new Destiny Gladiator sets. I can't wait until my day off and have to time build a huge fuckin' base.
Ugh. The fuckin' waiting...
>>6410707
Man, I'm kind of disappointed by these
the builds just aren't that great
>>6418710
They're pretty shit but I want a charmelion one for all those translucent fire pieces.
>>6418710
>the builds just aren't that great
Seriously. I'm pretty heavily disappointed by them.
>>6418712
>They're pretty shit but I want a charmelion one for all those translucent fire pieces.
I wish they had the fire pieces from the fall CoD and Halo flamethrowers. The ones they have are fine, but I prefer more 3d sculpted pieces over these flat translucent pieces.
>>6418890
I'm more super-bummed that we don't have any minifig-scale "pokeball" items. I would have loved to see some of those done like the Halo energy grenades or the Destiny "magical energy ball thing" pieces.
>>6416762
keep talking.. keep talking...

It was probably one of the employees accidentally sliced them while opening the box
Pls give mean opinions. Decided to paint the silver mk vi spartan from the blind bags. The visor needs a serious serious rework but other than that thoughts?
>>6419660
The green paint seems fairly even and smooth, although there's a a bit of dust/lint trapped in.
One thing to mind next if you rework or do another however if to the mold-lines off.
>>6419689
is to scrap the mold-lines*
>>6419689
>there's a a bit of dust/lint trapped in
If you're referring to the visor, that was a paintbrush error. the tiny brush I was trying to use to smooth the paint in that area had some particles from when it was being cleaned, which is why the whole ting looks shitty. As for the mold lines they will definitely be removed for the next paint job. I completely forgot how bad they are on some mega figs until afterwards.
>>6419660
Paint looks great, color is nice. Coule use a slight wash on parts of it but other thna that it looks good.
