That being said, one time at my Walmart every single one of the bags were cut open, but the contents seemed to still be present. Even more strange, the shelf they were displayed on is right next to the massive 'back room' door, so you have employees walking past every other minute, how no one noticed someone cutting them all open, or someone having the balls to do it with employees walking right past them, is confusing.

Decided to rebuild my base into something that better fits my desk. Added a sparrow bay and armory to it. Wanted to have the radome tower free standing, but the pieces couldn't handle it, so I had to build half of it into a room. As it is, the dome will still fall over for, like, no reason.

They are CoD guys. Only the guys with the baseball caps and grey uniforms are from Terminator. If you look clpsely, they are smaller than the CoD guys, closer to Halo size

Local TRU had everything except gyarados but I ended up only picking up abra. I may get the mid level starters but I haven't decided yet. And I'll get magikarp if I get gyarados.

Abra's kind of a silly brick built thing, but I find it really endearing. Probably not worth the $7 after tax at TRU but he seems to have the most articulation and best build of wave 1 and I wanted to check the line out.

So i just started building the hovercraft and it doesn't have numbered bags. There are no more little plastic bowls in my house and I'm running low on paper cups for sorting. 2800 pieces looks way more intimidating spread out like this. Hard to say. From aesthetics to colour scheme to type of armour, the Sardaukar are very different with each iteration. Personally I'd suggest a heavy armour/coat combo. Preferably either in a brown (desert) palette or a dark palette to look more menacing. The coat adds flair and ties the figure to the environment. Or maybe add samurai-ish bits.
Personally I'm a little limited on parts, but one build I was thinking was armored boots, Atlas thigh belts (thinner than vanilla thigh belts), Warlock skirt, Atlas Troop armour and backpack, Raphael's shoulder pads, Rappel Ghost arms, and the Tau-looking Warlock helmet.

I agree about the figures and judging from all the single packs MB sells, they do too. If I were a kid the figures would be my favourite childhood toys.

Good thing MB picked up licenses, and these certain ones in particular. Playmobil only started just now with Dragons and Ghostbusters, both of which are past their expiration date.

Trying to get Mega Bloks in France is infuriating. There's a few Call of Duty sets on amazon, only a few two or three years old Halo sets and they don't have anything Destiny, even on the official website.

Strictly been a LEGO guy. But I saw the Charizard and Gyrados sets at Target with the name Mega Construx - not realizing it was Mega Bloks until after I opened them and saw the name on the bricks. I have to say though, I don't blame them for the name change. These sets are nowhere near as shitty and poor quality as the occasional Mega Blocks sets I got as a kid. The quality still isn't as good as LEGO - but it's absolutely good enough to warrant future purchases.

It's hard to say as there isn't a developed aftermarket like for Lego, and much less demand it seems. I've seen several collections of value going for practically peanuts on kijiji (bought a lot for $15 Cdn that was easily over a hundred bucks worth originally) while ebay tends to have shall we say "collector prices" on the regular.

I know what I'd like to get for pic related if I were ever to part with it, could roughly estimate value based on where each fig came from... but I know I'd be lucky to get a fraction of that.

Speaking of, I finally spotted Heroes Series 4 at a Walmart here, and was it a sight to behold. A whopping two Dares, two Madsens, about a dozen Decimus and a lone Series 3 Atriox. No Cutter, no Wetwork, no other blue guy. I got Dare and a Decimus but it was a bit frustrating, hopefully they or one of the "pocket supercentres" Walmart has sprouted all around here will get in fresh boxes but I'm not holding my breath. The latter have precious little these days of Halo or CoD, a minimum of half their already limited Mega shelfspace going to TMNT, DM3 and now Poke.

Ohhh shit, I can't wait! I picked up a bunch of CoD Dome sets, a few of those cargo containers and few of the new Destiny Gladiator sets. I can't wait until my day off and have to time build a huge fuckin' base.

If you're referring to the visor, that was a paintbrush error. the tiny brush I was trying to use to smooth the paint in that area had some particles from when it was being cleaned, which is why the whole ting looks shitty. As for the mold lines they will definitely be removed for the next paint job. I completely forgot how bad they are on some mega figs until afterwards.

Thin your paints, as everyone from /tg/ says! Plus, I'd have hit it with a black primer spray first, to help the paint stay even and hold better and mixed it with a dab of metallic to give it a sheen. That and a dark wash to really make it pop when you highlight it.
