What gimmick does the rotom have?

Since I only collected the Figuarts pokemon but stopped after that abomination of a Pikachu, what are some Pokemon figs that scale well with them? I just bought the Charmeleon/Ivysaur/Wartortle 3 pack because they apparently scale well, and then I just bought the Z bracelet thing that comes with that tiny Pikachu because I like that pose the most of all the chus. Also just pre-ordered the Red figure that comes with all 3 starters.

Cool. Well the Jakks Pacific line are actually pretty good for variety and scale (not everything, but lots of stuff is in the ballpark). A browse through google images will give you an idea of what they made. Pic related is an example of some of them. I have the Gengar line myself. But there's also Lickitung, Elecktabuzz, Golduck, Golbat etc. Tomy have also released an amazing Greninja figure and a Machamp too.

Due to spiralling into clutter, I'm also trying to contain my collection. Mostly just narrowing it to starter Pokemon. There's actually quite a lot.

I saw a picture maybe two threads ago of some terrarium looking Pokeball statueshit. I dunno how else to describe it. Anyways, I'm now living in Japan and I need them. I think somebody said they were gashapon, but the case was available for purchase.

Picked up mega mawile on clearance at Walmart. It's pretty nice except the ball joints for the horns are soft and they're so heavy they pop out easily.

I have the Squirtle, and my only complaint is that he's so fuzzy it's hard to to see the stitched details. If you think you'll like them from the picture you'll like them in person, plus they're built to sit up on their own (or at least Squirtle is).

That's not true, some of their plushies look ridiculously on-model, mostly the more circular/stylized ones. In my opinion the Togepi looks pretty good. But others are just hopelessly off, I still don't know what happened to their Vulpix.

Unless you're in one of those very specific Asian countries, it seems so. All of the middleman sellers (including the one I preordered mine from) have just offered the regular release with no Pikachu. It's a little disappointing but I don't mind too much since it was just a solid figurine and it will be fairly easy to find a suitable one separately

What was the deal? Something like the Pokemon company partially owns them now? The articulation on TR makes up for it for me. I may be a little biased because Jessie is my 12 yo kid me waifu.

The biggest Lapras is in 1/18th scale (138 mm), the three medium ones are nice hand-held size but not any specific scale, the smallest was for shits and giggles. The medium ones use the PokePark model but the big and small ones use the Pokken Tournament model and look better.

Well I finally found Mega Mawile after all this time and she was at Target
But I do have to say that after having Mewtwo, Greninja and ash greninja, machamp that Mega Mawile is the worst figure I've had ever

As soon as I carefully opened the box and tried popping out her out, her arms just fell out. Her feet, due to the printing labels, are misaligned. Her 2 false mouths weigh over 2lbs each and when you pick her up they droop down causing the thin part that connects to the back of her head to stretch like bubble gum.
