ITT: Toys that made you jelly of your female siblings.

>not being bound by gender roles and getting any toy you want

>not being transgender so you can watch and collect mlp guilt-free

I grew up in the 90s, things were different back then.
Besides, it's not that I was "bound to gender roles", I just figured I'd regret getting those kind of toys, but at the same time I found them fun.
Anyway every time I was at my cousins' I played with their polly pockets, lots of fun with these. Thankfully there was a boy version of those, Mighty Max, loved these.
>>6357860
Not if your parents are shitheads about it.
Parents wouldn't buy me girls for fear I might catch the gay.
>>6357863
maybe if the writing hadn't gone to shit midway through season 2, but you know, Hasbro doesn't want that, they want a toy commercial. The only thing missing from the show is shitty Sunbow-tier animation errors out the ass. It just doesn't feel like a proper Hasbro cartoon without 2 Rainbow Dashs in the same scene, characters colored wrong or the wrong voice out of a character, or terrible "I wish I was deaf" synth pop playing every 5 seconds.

>I don't want my son to be no faggot, he will not own toys of girls! he will own He-Man and wrestlers!
I think giving your son nothing but muscle men in underwear causes gay, not prevents it.
>>6357835
>being a girl so people would get you these things anyways
This was a fucking baller castle. But my parents didn't really care if I played with dolls or cars. Just no guns.
>>6358095
Girl's toys may have been shit in a lot of departments, but dollhouses were not one of them.

holy shit anon we still got that one at our place, how are the joints in the legs holding for you? Most of them are pretty loose now from so many kids.
>>6358111
Sadly it is no more. It was at my next door neighbor/friend's house so I got to see it pretty much every other day. Good memories. I recently bought the mini dollhouse that came with the big dollhouse for the sake of nostalgia and to put it in a setup with some of my figures. It has a glue yellowing problem I need to take care of once it gets here.
Miss Party Surprise was pretty great too
>>6358118
Because of what she looked like when you'd unfold her dress
Recently listened to complaints, now offered in a gender neutral color scheme for all to enjoy so no angry parents will deny it to their sons
The infamous skydancers
She-Ra Crystal Castle was pretty cool.
Temp banned for vintage pony posting. Which one of you autists snitched?
Continuing on, there was a toy line called Magic Diaper. They were babies where when you dipped them in water, their diaper would change color and you'd get a boy or a girl. It was kind of a blind bag situation. Anyways, they all sucked except the dinosaurs
>>6358042
Shoulda shown them Luke and Han figures kissin since you only had male figures.
I'm mostly out of cool girl's toys for now but have this super yonic Rose Petal Palace car
>>6358221
Jesus christ, they put a lot of effort into making this thing look as vaginal as possible.
my female neighbour had some automatic penguin slide, that was a fun toy.
>>6358095
>tfw when I was a kid I specifically pointed out I didn't want barbies for my birthday because people would always buy me Barbie
>huge dollfag now
Why did younger me have such bad taste
>>6358143
They had Skydancers for boys. They were called Dragon Flyz, there was a cartoon and everything
>>6357835
I always wanted those WITCH and Cardcaptors dolls, but luckily I could at least get Hamtaro shit so it wasn't that bad.
>>6357876
I would have totally traded you some of my polly pockets for mighty max, pic related.
The Polly Pocket you posted was pretty fucking cool though, I remember there being lights in the sky, balloon and the fountain and the dance floor turned when you twisted the shroom.
>>6358143
Those things were fuckin LETHAL dude. Knocked out one of my younger brother's teeth with one.
>>6357835
My parents never restricted what toys I could get. I just needed to explain why I want them.
More kids should be allowed to do that.
I loved my Pollypocket and Barbies as much I loved my RC cars and Guns.
>>6358267
it looks like a body horror car
>>6358305
the ones that climb the stairs? I had that as a kid too, not really a gendered toy
>>6358118
OHHHHH shit MISS PARTY SURPRISE! fuuuuck, i had the dog show one growing up, those sets were the shit.
Shoe Fairies were my jam, sheeit. Wish I could find one with all the parts, but they were teensy and easy to lose.
>tfw 12-year-old you went through a "too old for toys" phase and gave away your toy collection to neighbors
fuck, my polly pockets alone would probably be worth a grand right now.
>>6357835
Any kinds of dolls really... My big sister was allowed to play with barbie and got these kinds of presents into her teens while I was stuck with shitty cars, planes and supersoakers.
I was most jealous of that one barbie house that looked like a suitcase.
I would always sneak in some playtime with it when nobody was home. I bet she noticed it but I was always careful not to break anything so she didn't want to rat me out.
Back then my female cousin's collection had some really well-made playsets. I recall at least one set having working battery-powered lights and all the working doors and windows.
The best I had in comparison was the gas can Micro machines playset with the working elevator, but you still had to run the worm and wheel lift shaft by rotating the gascan cap, and the stickers started peeling after a while.
>>6358042
If it makes you feel better my dad wouldn't let me have Batman figures cus I'd turn out a fat dyke. Only managed to have a nonarticulated Catwomam from a Happy Meal.
>>6358405
>Hamtaro
Hamtaro was the shit back in the day, the big house thing was my favorite.
>>6358854
I was somehow wise enough to save all of my Polly Pockets through all the years and still have a large box of them. On one hand it's cool to see how much they're worth now but on the other hand it's sad because it'd be a pain to collect the rest that I don't have. I should dig those out sometime.
>>6359046
Fuck, I'd be psyched as hell if my daughter was a Batman fan! And if she likes Scarecrow, even better!
I actually owned some chinese bootleg Sailor Moon figures, there were some official ban dai dolls but they were more like barbie (synthetic hair, clothes), the ones I had were all plastic, more like actual action figures, I used them in my toy war games and paired Ami Mizuno with Trunks from DBZ (I self inserted as Trunks).
Pic related is the only one I could find from these.
Sailor Moon was badass anyway, I remember every (male) kid at school pretended to not watch it, but secretly everyone was into it.
>>6360371
I HAD THE WHOLE SET OF SAILOR SCOUTS! they were rubber-y statues, but I still had to have them all, though I never got the kittens... Luna, Artemis and the lunaball were the best characters from that show... at least, dic's version.
>>6359949
>happy for your daughter to like a scrawny beta like Crane
>>6357835
I could go buy this right now but I really don't need it.
>>6358153
Fuck that fucking castle my neighbor had one when we were little kids and I was always so jealous. I at least got to play with it when I went over to her house.
>>6359046
I know this feel anon, I wanted a Batman figure so bad as well but never got one.
