The KH stuff is definitely very likely due to Disney involvement. The manga stuff? As far as w know Squenix does not have th same exclusivity clause for the manga properties, so far the only line that got any decent amount of toys was FMA which not only got the old play arts figures(which were under another company iirc) but they also got Revos and recently Nendos with a potential for figmas since they got nendos due to a fan poll contest.

Same sharp inward curve on the Revoltech. The Figuarts doesn't show that (but that may just be the lighting for the Figuarts). As it stands, those cheekbones are a pretty defining feature on Depp.

And again, those eyes. Being smaller and closer set, that means there's a lot more eyes:face ratio, making the head look too long/wide despite it being roughly the same size as the real thing.

No, it's really not. Square-Enix invests in big risky expensive projects and then also niche stuff like Nier Automata. Disney is the play it safe company who milks things endlessly and applies focus groups to everything to the point where everything unique is decimated. If they did let Square-Enix continue making games they would be garbage compared to what we get now and they would be sanitized to be family friendly as possible. Chun Li looks better but no you can't just re-use her design for Cammy. Cammy's costume is different and wouldn't have allowed for it. To clarify...Chun Li looks amazing from the back but when you use her hips it creates a big ass bar across her crotch from the front. This is covered by her clothes so it looks fine but on Cammy it'd look awful and be highlighted even more by her costume design. Do you really want a Cammy that looks great from the back in a standing pose but worse in every other angle?

Square-Enix doesn't own those manga, they just own the magazine that they were first published in. They have no control over what happens to those manga as far as merchandising and compilations go, so long as said products don't explicitly mention Shonen Gangan. It's very likely that Sora's only happening because of Disney pulling some strings, but there's nothing stopping Bandai from going after Soul Eater or FMA in the future (other companies like GSC and Kaiyodo have already done figures from Shonen Gangan manga).

So I just watched the Anthony's Customs review of the TDK Batman and I'm not so sure if I'm as hyped anymore. It seems really gap-y. Like, I can get over minor gaps, but his neck and wrists really bother me. I know in TDKR he gets a slimmer suit (I think) and do you think they're do a regular re-release to fix the minor problems, if at all, or will they just wait until the TDKR release to do that, if they do it at all? Or if they even decide to fix it. Idk but overall I'm not sure if I should get it for the initial release price.
