The characters usually handle the Gashats in one way or another even outside of putting them in their toys, which you can't replicate with the peg-style ones that come with the Figuarts for obvious reasons. While the full Gashats you apparently won't be able to put into any of these other things. Not having both just limits your options.

Legends is a bit more barebones than the base one as you don't get the mech callouts if you type in the years and you don't get GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKAI RED or the appropriate Gokaiger colors when you press the center button twice with their keys in. Legends gets Gokai Silver support, Go-Busters support, some random holiday jingles instead of Mech callouts, and I think the OOO Ranger Keys also get proper callouts.

If you're looking for Ranger Keys then most of the DX sets are dirt cheap. SP, Hurricaneger, Go-Busters 1, OOO, Boukenger, Abaranger, Gorenger, and Gekiranger are the rare ones going for around $20-40 each nowadays though I've seen their prices dropping.

I would argue the BoA stuff may be better due to the spring loaded system but their quality control is abysmal. Misplaced stickers (I had like six of them riding up on the sides), terrible paint jobs, and the plastic feels far cheaper than the BoJ versions yet costs the same. At least the BoA stuff has stuff like the Titanium Ranger and I think the Jungle Fury rangers as well on top of Ninjor and the Blue Senturion in easy to get collections unlike the BoJ stuff where they're Gash/Candy Toy only.

There should be a rider that transforms via gauntlet instead of belt, one half on each arm, transformation involved slappin forearms together then ripping them apart as the suit deploys around you.

To be fair, Snipe's cloak, at least the part that's actually hanging off his shoulder, is made of plastic/vinyl on the actual suit. You can see it has kind of a gloss to it in certain lightning.

I just want to say that I haven't bought any yet but I've been checking into prices for a couple months now. Gamer Driver seems to be around $50ish with the Narikiri set (The one with the finisher attachment) being around $70-80. Attachment on its own is like $16-20ish.
Dan The Man's full driver set (Both the buckle and the Bugvisor) is a ludicrous amount of money, it's something like $80 starting but if you get each piece separately then the buckle is something like $30-40 (Because of Dangerous Zombie) and $50+ for the Bugvisor itself.
Bugvisor Zwei is sitting around $60-70ish right now.

Now, for Gashats it's kind of all over the place. Proto stuff regardless of DX or Gash seem to be anywhere from $20-40ish each. The dual Gashats (So Parad's, MBXX, and the level 50 one) vary with Parad's being the most expensive at around $50ish while BXX and the level 50 one are usually $40 with MBXX occasionally dropping down to the $30 mark rarely.

Most DX Gashats are anywhere from $20-40 each unless they're movie ones or special ones like Pac-Man or Xevious, those ones are generally cheaper than most usually sitting at the $15-20 mark. Rarer Gashats like Juju Burger and GiriGiri Chanbara sit around $50 (Looks like Tokimeki Crisis has also hit that price point from what I'm seeing on Mandarake) while most others tend to sit at the $20ish mark.

I never care for the weapons but they're usually anywhere from $20-40 on a good day as well for any series unless they're an actual transformation device.

Honestly, if you want a decent price list look at the Mandy search page for 仮面ライダーエグゼイド and filter it by price descending with "Sold Out" being shown. Some items get restocked on occasion on the usual sites for their MSRP or slightly more, but Gashats are basically Lockseeds 2.0 in how expensive they can be.

Are ther any real gimmick lines that had significant chnages to the head and face that didin't cause issues with neck articultion? the W fomr change didn't have necks at all if I recall. Ghost change lost neck with the hoodies. Gaim had the helmets for Arms change that allowed for necks, but at least half of the Ex-aid head changes couldn't be achieved with a helmet, and having something lik Ex-aid's faceframe or snipe's oxygen gear that just plugs onto the face would have both created really small fiddly bits that could easilly be lost, and would have left visible pegs or pegholes on the heads, from which the base figures would have suffered.

The S.I.C. of W is very dated compared to the latest releases, but you're right in that the S.I.C. of OOO and Wizard are their best figures, they had very botched SHF figures.

With Drive both are very good options, but the S.I.C comes with much more accessories and pieces for him whilst the SHF comes with just hands, his weapons are sold separately in the Type Wild and Type Technic (and exclusive) figures instead.
