Where to buy
>GSC Online Shop - some figmas only are available through their online shop
>Amiami - usual place for buying, to some people, shipping is a bit higher due to packaging
>Hobby Link Japan shipping is usual lower, but their prices are a bit higher, private warehaouse is available
>Hobby Search Japan - items stay in stock the longest
>Mandarake - search figma or フィグマ
>eBay/Amazon - only if you hate having too much money. Avoid bootlegs, you can spot them as 'Chinese version'
>http://jungle-scs.co.jp/ - Seems like you can fine some good deals here
>Check the BST threads, My Figure Collection for any offer/deal

Short illustrated posing guide by Max Factory

The S shape is always good advice though. The basic idea is that straight lines tend to look stiff.

>>6325401
Half of them, I think
>apparently missed a reissue of sinon last month
>still/already crazy prices on manda
Whups.
I'm liking Celty way more than I was expecting, she's a fun figma to have.
>>6325436
She's still available on TOM.
>>6325436
Bruh, her re-release went up MONTHS ago. You had one job.
>>6325436
Nigga, how fucking often do you even look at you related news? You only have yourself to blame. Even if you were just looking at news once a month you would have caught it and been able to buy it no problem.
When the fuck are these two gonna ship?
>inb4 delayed
>>6325490
If there's no update for them on Monday, they'll probably be delayed.
>>6325436
>crazy prices
Will the same happen to ryuko?
>>6325521
Her price will go down a bit from what it is now but it will probably stay high, yeah.
>>6325490
i get hard every time I see TP Link
Was Mikasa the figma with the most reissues ever?
are they gonna continue with yowamushi pedal?
id buy this character
>>6325490
I complete forgot theta I pre ordered Link. I sorta regret doing that now.
>>6325621
depends on how the other two sold and whether the anime/manga is selling well.
>>6325526
I'm legit hyped for his release which is hard todo with figma lately.
>>6326079
I don't collect waifus, so Figma has been uninteresting to me for a while now. The do make very good action figures technically speaking.
>>6325990
Same. I keep forgetting I ordered Zelda and I kinda don't want her anymore.
>>6325990
If you got the deluxe version, just sell it later on ebay with profits.
>>6326669
While we're on the subject, what is a good indicator that a release will skyrocket in price later on?
>>6326683
Pretty much the character's popoularity. A pre-order closing before release is also a good one, but nowadays it's happenng a bit more often, probably due to them planning to release a lower number of copies than they used to before..
>>6326683
This is Link we're talking about, some /v/ normalfag in Alabama would probably buy Link for $100 on eBay and not even know he was scalped.
>>6325399
Oh shit, they're also making Samurai Shodown figma?
But it's odd they're starting with the referee guy.
>>6325490
They have so many Figma scheduled for May, when I ordered Link and Zelda it was with full knowledge they'd probably get delayed.
>>6326788
That's too lenient.
Anywhore, does anyone here think we might get more aot figgies? Or do I have to resort to a custom.
>>6326794
I feel like they might get released at the end of the month. Hasn't something like hay happened before?
>>6326797
if anything they'd be show characters
>>6326750
isn't odd, he is a rad character and a pretty strong motherfucker too.
>>6326750
lmao yeah, that's what someone else thought he was, but no, it's from kabuki stageplays.
So amiami usually charges on the 15th? getting pretty excited for Saber 2
>>6327179
Well, don't cuz it's gonna get delayed.
>>6325521
Probably. If it's been this long since the show aired, her popularity as a character isn't going down. So her price is just going to rise again the longer you get from a rerelease.
>>6326683
Basic supply and demand. If something is too mainstream popular then they'll usually keep up with supply (which is why those Madoka figures are still everywhere), while obviously something that was never popular is not going to raise in price. Rumor has it Ryuuko flopped among Japanese fans while weebs were just getting into KLK, which caused the disparity.
>>6326736
Link gets mass-produced though.
I see the ALBW in gamestops, and the shitty Skyward sword has been available for years.
>>6325402
>More Kemono Friends.
Oh great.
More easy passes.
I have been confused by popular anime before but this one has me thinking that Japan might be literally retarded.
>>6327500
It's a cute show. It has a good, original story. Great characters. Japan doesn't have an anti-CG stigma. It's really no surprise it got as big as it did.
>>6327500
If you look at it surface-level it's hard to understand. But when you actually get through the whole show you find that it does pretty much everything except the visuals really well. The character development is especially good, as is the attention to details and the way it assumes the audience is smart enough to make their own connections regarding the plot. And having a large amount of cute girls with fairly clever animal based designs obviously helps.
Maki figfix when?
I'm going to get from the GSC shop.
>>6326669
I probably might. We'll see how I feel after I get him. But at this point the hype for him has died.
>>6327518
>>6325399
>It has a good, original story. >Great characters.
Where can I watch the version of Kemono Friends you watched?
The whole show was a blank slate and a wacky catgirl wandering around and hanging out with some single trait moeblobs in a setting that happened to be post-apocalyptic.
The monsters felt pointless, the sandstar volcano had inconsistent rules and was never explained, and the characters had no real growth.
Oh and the animation was awful because it had no effort put into it whatsoever not because it was cg.
>>6327561
> it had no effort put into it whatsoever not because it was cg.
It was a shoestring budget with a ridiculously small team of animators. That doesn't make it any better, but it's not fair to say it had no effort.
>and the characters had no real growth.
Kaban starts the series with no idea what she is and has no confidence in herself because she doesn't seem to have any talents compared to all the amazing abilities of the friends around her. With Serval's constant praise encouragement and her own successes throughout the show, she starts gradually building up confidence though still doesn't believe in herself nearly as much as Serval does. When Serval is taken away she's forced to do what she never thought she could do and goes as far as to imitate Serval to try and be as strong as her. In the final episode, everyone else is worried about whether she can make it on her own, but she confidently displays her new strengths for them and ensures them she can now take care of herself. And that's not even touching on her development of wanting to find out what she is. I don't know what your qualifications for real growth are if that doesn't fit.
Obviously you're entitled to your own opinion, and I'm not gonna spend more time arguing about a show in a figure thread, but it genuinely sounds like you just watched it to see why it was popular while still wanting to dislike it.
>>6327179
You'll get charged when it's in-stock and they've processed your shipping fee, which means you should be charged on the 16th or 17th at the latest - supposing your order's not combined with something else that's releasing later.
>>6327500
It appealed to normies and children, that's what made it so popular. Same for Yuri on Ice, it appealed to skating fans as well.
I'm still kind of bitter that they aren't making characters from series that I like, but it's really logical that they would make these characters since they're popular with a large audience, both for otaku and normal people.
Plus Kemono Friends is helping zoos garner more visitors, so I can only imagine the amount of people and kids who start getting into Kemono Friends just out of curiosity. Remember, kids don't give a crap about the CG quality of their shows.
More importantly, I really wish GSC/MF could get their asses in gear and put up more figmas for pre-order instead of always announcing new shit.
>>6327613
>kids don't give a crap about the quality
tell that to kids who say "it's not like on tv" when they get some hasbro crap.
>>6327500
It's a meme show, and I don't say that to demean it. Main duo are quite charming (and I might pick up their figmas when they come out) but its runaway success is more to do with the feeling of being in on a sleeper hit than the show's real quality. Again, I don't mean that to criticize the show or its fans -- I had a good time watching it.
>>6327500
>>6327561
I'm sorry, Your vision is too small and mundane, I can't fix it.
>>6327700
I don't think it's much of a "meme show" as much as it is kind of rooting for the underdog of the season. But I totally get what you mean.
Does anyone have Figma Terraformar? How is he?
>>6327933
Good, but his legs are a bit loose. Not to say he can't stand straight, but they bend a lot easier than normal. Comes with the size, i suppose.
Pretty good overall.
>>6327933
be careful with the antennae
>>6327940
Yeah, they do look pretty fragile. But I collect Gundams and I haven't broken any V-fins yet, so I think I'll be fine.
>>6327933
It's pretty nice.
One of the best I own.
>>6327700
>Meme show.
So it's Japanese MLP?
>>6327970
No, that's Precure.
>>6327970
It's basically Japanese MLP. At least the girls are girl-shaped though so the porn doesn't offend me.
Opened up my Kashima, finally.
She's nice. Not really sure what to do for poses for her though. I spent like 10 minutes trying to get a piece of the joint plastic out of her skirt and it ended up just somewhere deep up the joint I cant even see it anymore.
>>6327933
Fun. His sheer size alone compared to most other figmas is really refreshing.
WHEN
>>6328133
After the nendo
Is the figma Ninja Slayer any good? I like how he looks, but he doesn't look very posable.
>>6328191
Which? You have the original release and the anime version.
I have the original and I found him standard across the board for figma articulation but the acessories he packs really enhances whatever display idea I have.
>>6328133
I'm hoping he will have atleast a prototpye come Summer Wonfes or there will be a riot!
>>6328139
If we will base it on what happend with the CCS Nendos, the nendos always gets released before the figma, since Nendo Syaoran is already available for preorder, I expect a prototype of the figma soon(hopefully with a release date too).
>>6327975
cute

FREEing - figma Fuchico: Pink
FREEing - figma Slan & figFIX Conrad
FREEing - figma Void and figFIX Ubik
FREEing - figma The Scream
WING - figma Masaru Hananakajima
Well, shit!
I was expecting that Slan and Void could be delayed as it happen with femto, I only have Darjeeling and the Blade Runner's gun for June, so I'm not too worried, but right now I don't have shit for this month, So I can get the Maho/Erika set easily, one win in the middle of this delay
>>6328341
>My entire order was shifted to next month making my june order insanely large.
>I also have a convention next month.
>>6328346
What do you have in both orders?
>>6328341
Link and Zelda on the 29th, that's a relief. I was hoping they'd be right at the end of the month, but wanted to be sure before I did anything.
>>6328352
Masaru, Scream, Revo Spider-Gwen, and Nendo Popuko.
Around $240 not counting shipping.
Combined with convention funds that is a lot of dosh for me to spend in one month on this kind of thing.
I have Polynian Pinkle shipping later this month which means on top of the figma delays I am going to get raped on shipping for a single figure.
>>6328377
I accidentally included Pinkle in my total like an idiot.
Around $180 without shipping is what I meant.
>>6327933
Loving 'em.
>>6328341
Yes, they pulled thru
>>6328341
May: WOOHOO IM SAFE FROM WALLET RAPIST!
June: D'OH!!! Rapist hides in the corner... F@#$%^&*@+_!!!!
Well luckily I have no PO in June. Kinda glad, but I want them gods NAOW!
>>6328341
Thank God I have savings.
Oh...
>>6328425
>DX version comes with half unmasked head and swappable heart pattern boxers
Oh shit
>>6328421
Wow that actually looks great.
I am kind of glad I skipped the Legend and that ugly Revoltech.
>>6328440
Are those functional sheaths?
I had completely forgot about this thing but these pictures have made me really want it.
>>6328191
They ones built off the manga version's body are pretty well articulated, but the anime one is heavily restricted.
>>6327940
Life of a Figuart Bugman collector.
>>6328472
For fuck's sake, I thought I was safe just going for the revo
>>6328477
Good choice. I am really put off with the mediocre figma version...
Holy shit that Deadpool looks solid.
>>6328425
>>6328440
>>6328472
FUCK, this looks nice. It probably won't pose as well as the Revo, but damn it looks great! And this is the best DX release I've seen in a while, some truly tempting accessories here. Hmm...I hate to double-dip, Deadpool isn't even one of my favorite characters...but having this next to my Revo fighting it like a doppelganger might be fun.
>>6328472
Seeing the Revo one in super dynamic poses just makes this pose look stiff as fuck. I know I shouldn't expect Revo articulation but I feel it fits Deadpool a bit more.
>>6328425
All this for taco meme man and Prime Samus only gets a morph ball and missile firing cannon.
>>6328541
Look man, I feel you, but Marvel is hot, and taco meme man is even hotter. Whereas Metroid is languishing in the shadows and we're lucky to even be getting another damn Samus Figma.
>>6327975
She's nice, and a solid figure, got her for completionism, but definetly not worth 100 bucks
>>6328425
am I crazy? this isn't an amazing amount of accessories. 3 of them are tiny and the two katanas are short as well. it's barely anything at all.
>>6328341
>FREEing - figma The Scream
Okay sure I wanted to spend over $200 in June anyway, I also didn't want my Pose Skeleton Demon this month either. Thanks a lot GSC.
Before the movie came out, who would have thought Deadpool fans would have been the ones with most good options for a figure..??
>>6328561
>3 full swappable heads
>13 hands
>plus 5 weapons
Considering most Figmas come with an extra face or two and eight hands, this is already doing a pretty solid job. I mean, it's more accessories than the Revo, even counting the individual eye pieces.
And the Revo's katanas are quite small too, by the way.
>>6328341
>Shielder and Link confirmation
>already paid so no worries
>got them discounted
>>6328346
>>6328378
>>6328377
>>6328407
>>6328410
So let me get this straight.
You have a decent sized order that you have the funds for THIS month.
It gets shifted to next month where you have another decent sized order, that presumably you will have the money set aside for.
So where's the idea that you're going to be out extra money come from? You take the funds from this month and hold them to next month, and add them to that month's stash of $$. Your amount isn't changing, just the time you spend it is.
May X$ plus shipping
June X$ plus shipping
Combined XX$ plus shipping
>>6327933
>>6327970
>>6328398
AKARI WHEN?!
>>6328425
Fuck. When is this going for preorder? I dont even care about the price right now.
>>6328430
Oh then I prefer non DX since figma & real life face model don't mix.
>>6328425
Those guns look like they belong to GI Joes.
They need to paint that shit up. Even a simple dry brushing goes a long way in making them look more than just plastic GI Joe guns.
Maybe even add some articulation to them like Mezco does.
>>6328615
Oh shit I just noticed those sais. Ok, NipJew, you win this round. TAKE MAH MUNEE!!
>>6328584
>Because
We need figma africans.
>>6328425
>DX-level Gilgamesh
>TP Link DX
>Gwendolyn DX
>Deadpool DX
All of these purchases, while making me happy they also make me a bit sad Shielder didn't get her Stage 3 equipment or a DX with them.
Hopefully it comes as a figma with expressions more representative of her character progression (or pair it with saber-class Lancelot!)
>>6328612
Prices are already on MFC. If you, like me, were fine with Atlas and P-Body then you'll genuinely love Deadpool's pricing considering all that both version come with.
>>6328621
If that's your setup, nicely done. If not, nice find anyway.
I am, indeed, looking forward to the figma criminal release.
I'll admit I'll also be dressing up Criminal as a Fate's Assassin, the cloaked version at least.
>>6328440
> people talk all that shit about Revo joints
> literally only the shoulders look better
>>6328628
It's mine.
>>6328634
I sincerely loved his voice in MUA more than in anything else.
Noone has posted a full frontal shot yet.
Looks oddly feminine.
>>6328649
The torso is obnoxiously long. Why is it no one can give deadpool good proportions?
Either way, it looks neat, but I think I'll pass.
>>6328649
That's an easy pass.
>>6328649
Looks fun but unless I score a DX at a toy convention, I'll pass.
>>6328341
>Slan delayed
200% glad
>>6328673
Why im really looking forward to getting her.
>>6328694
I'm hoping she gets a bootleg.
>>6328668
>DX figma
>Toy Convention
Don't conventions usually have rape prices? Why not just PO?
>>6328710
> Figma Samus over 6K with next to no accessories
It's gonna be rape prices either way.
>>6328649
7222 for reg
8571 for dx
Is what myfigurecollection has
>>6328720
> Revo is just barely 5k
Oh joy.
It should be up soon right.
>>6328739
> may 16
yeah tomorrow.
>>6328742
It is may 16 in jap
>>6328710
Usually it doesn't raise the rape prices until five months after the month it sells, or depending on the demand.
Deadpool's a popular character but the recent toycons I've been in have all been selling Revo DP at an alarming quantity at base price with just a few dollars of markup.
>>6328725
Like Girugameshu, I'm very interested in this figure solely because of his shorts.
Otherwise, I had no thoughts of buying him.
>>6328341
>>Arrival at wholesale stores on the 29th May 2017:
the hell does this mean in terms of online purchases like from hlj or amiami? do I have to wait for even longer until they ship out from "wholesale stores" so I get my hands on link?
>>6328649
Oof. That torso is really long. That actually looks really bad.
>>6328584
Never...
I swear this series is the one time I would have been happier with GS's usual tactic of releasing the main girl first and then maybe the hero and some villains later.
I love my JOHJ but the fact that all we will ever have of Michelle is some fuckhuge statues and a Nendoroid is a travesty.
>>6328649
Twinkpool
>>6328830
>He looks so cool, shame his articulation is restricted.
Don't worry, after you posed it like this you won't need to use the joints anymore.
>>6328649
why the fuck would they make his torso so long?
>>6328894
It's not the same without the neon green
>>6328908
And the black shadows.

Strange how everyone earlier was drooling over this until they saw how long his torso was
Really makes you think
>>6328649
He's missing a part of the back of his left foot.
>>6328962
it looked just as shitty when they showed it at wonfes. dwarf legs.
Where do you guys keep your figma accessory bags? Just in a container?
>>6328962
Went from day 1 pre-order to not even going to fuck with it if it ends up at bargain bin prices. Lazy as fuck designers.

Inside the figma box, unused.

There could be a pull out feature as well. We will see.
How do you go from this...

>>6328649
I can't get over the legs on this artwork and the final sculpt. His knees are so thin and his calves are so thick, it looks really ugly. Gives a similar look to 70's pants, not really of course, but that's what this reminds me of.
I'm torn with Deadpool. On one hand he looks much better than the unpainted prototype, and I definitely don't care about the DX edition so it would be cheaper for me but....that torso is awful and the way they show his back he could potentially be like Figma Captain America which in my opinion was horrendous.
I like Revo Deadpool but his scale and tiny head prevent me to ordering him because I tend to go for SHF when it comes to comic/movie characters...like I said, I'm torn.

>>6329272
>>6329235
>>6329235
It desperately needs paint.
The Figma artwork looks great as it does because of all the shading and grit to it. Whereas the Figma is just an obvious plastic toy. They need to do some dry brushing to bring out the detail.
Just do the same thing that Mezco's stuff does, and add some articulation to the guns. I'd get figures just for cool weapons that have moving pieces.
>>6329364
>that torso is awful and the way they show his back he could potentially be like Figma Captain America which in my opinion was horrendous.
it looks like deadpool is gonna use the archetype 2 body as a base, if you have that one or snake, you will know how it will work
>>6329381
>sculpt brand new leg parts
>use decals for the scars instead of molded detail
just why
>>6329488
>>6328616
You guys must be new to Figmas. With a few exceptions, their schtick has always been simple, cartoonish-looking toys. Toys that obviously look like toys. If you want drybrushing and grit, grab a fucking paintbrush and weathering kit and do it yourself. Or, y'know, just complain into the void, accomplishing nothing and getting nowhere.
>>6329632
What makes you think they're decals? In the closer-up shots they seem like sculpted surface detail to me.
>>6328341
Man I'm really disappointed by the Kuromorimine girls. First off it's a two-pack so I can't get Erika separate, secondly they're really simple-looking and barely on-model compared to the heroines.

>>6329700
Nah, it's a personal issue. They're saying I've entered the wrong password too many times, it's been like this for a week.
>>6329686
AmiAmi decided to remove the discount on the DX version because they want to solidify their position as total cuntfucks. If it was 19% off like it should be then it wouldn't cost much more than the normal release.
Just wait for it to pop up on HLJ where the price won't be pants on head retarded. I want AmiAmi to go out of business at this point. They are fucking worthless for deals and their customer service is only so-so at best.

The discount probably isn't there because of the joint exclusivity deal they have on the DX set.
The price was likely hard set in the agreement to keep the shared exclusivity fair.

It's a shame.
There's literally a company selling an exclusive deadpool with more stuff and an overall more expensive to produce figure, and it costs less than that.

Deadpool preorder is live. November release.
>>6329796
Link on GSC?
>>6329694
Whats that mean
>>6329711
Yeah I want a neutral pose-able Deadpool. Revoltech is great for dynamic but sometimes you just need to pose DP standing next to something in a normal pose.
None yet. I was referring to HLJ/AmiAmi.
Sucks about the price but I kinda was expecting to set aside 100 for him anyway. Sounds stupid but this thing to me looks better than the Revoltech one that I also blew alot of money on when it went live. Still a little salty on the revoltech Venom turning out how it did. I was really hoping for a MVC/Bagley style.
>>6329762
Mezco? Buying that too. Glad that one is already paid for and my money is already safely spent on it..

>>6329811
Can't be the Mezco since it comes with less and is a dollar more
>>6328962
I've noticed the disgustingly long torso since the earliest prototype was shown. Figmas and male anatomy (aside from cobra) just don't go well together.
I bet ThinkGeek/Gamestop will end up picking up DP like they did with Link/Mario
>>6329833
So what is a perfect figure for you?
>>6329832
The previews exclusive mezco is pretty much the same price but has a load of shit, more intricate/detailed shit, and definitely costs more to produce.
>>6329840
Yeah I went for the headpool preorder one
>>6329840
It also has reused parts while the figma is all new. Considering tooling is the most expensive single part of production, it definitely doesn't cost more.
It also has less accessories than the figma. I just counted.
>>6329803
>buying action figures just to pose neutral
>>6329844
while the parts were reused, it still probably costs more anyway.
Fucking GI Joes come with better painted guns than that and they certaintly don't cost a lot even when they come with new guns.
... can you tell I'm bitter about the guns? A huge missed opportunity to have cooler guns.
>>6329847
He probably has Marvel Legends cluttered on a shelf stiff as a brick
>>6329847
I'm fine if people really want neutral posed figures. It's when they start complaining figures with a dynamic sculpts can't stand straight with their arms straight down that it bugs me.
>>6329847
not that anon, but if you take a lot of toy photos, you need them to look good in neutral pose.
>>6328649
His arched back...
That's why you are seeing the torso appear long
Their have been full frontal pics of him for months unpainted
>>6329844
One of those guns on the mezco probably costs more to make than all the weapons on the figma deadpool.
>>6329871
You mean this one? Still looks pretty long to me
>>6329885
That exclusivity pricing arrangement may be true but AmiAmi is being dicks with pricing lately. Charging more for popular Bandai stuff, fucking about with pre-order pricing, raising prices on release, etc.
>>6329882
Wow, I wanted to grab the DX version buck 9k!? WTF! A handful of extra accessories does not a 3k yen difference make!
>>6329896
Complain about those things then. You just weaken the argument picking the wrong fights.
>>6328649
Why not just buy the superior Revoltech?
>>6329909
I dunno man, the Revo just doesn't click click click with me.
>>6329909
I have the Revo, love it even, but it's a big pain in the ass to play with. The figma will operate a lot more smoothly
>>6328528
that's canon
>>6329909
The Revo is quite good, and I really enjoy it, and it can pose better than like 95% of the toys in my collection. But at times the oddly shaped pinhead and shoulder joints that look awful in most poses kind of get to me.
The biggest reason for me wanting the Figma is the headsculpts. They look great, and really nailed the feel of DP (particularly the squinting and happy ones). I sorta feel like the Revo head doesn't really look right to me, no matter which eyes I use.
>>6329909
Why not both?
>>6329803
> weird snake torso

>>6330162
>Where the fuck have you been the last two years? Prices have been increasing across the board.
Some lines are taking it much further than others. I think we can all agree Max Factory is pushing it beyond reasonable for some of these releases. Amazing Yamaguchi normal sized figures are in the 5000 yen range, SHF Cammy/Rashid are in the 5000 yen range. Every single figma is 6000-7000+ yen or more.
>>6330176
Everything in May went up for PO before they had their price hike so it's not a good comparison. The probably had to renegotiate with their factory. Not defending the prices but using stuff in May is a bad comparison.

massive neck, tiny head
japs have a weird sense of proportions and anatomy sometimes, he is sculpted to make poses that aren't human or comic accurate

>>6330564
You don't read Deadpool comics, right? Deadpool supposed to be bulky, the Figma one look more like Spider-Man.
>>6330564
>he is sculpted to make poses that aren't human or comic accurate
Is there some magical force stopping people from making "comic accurate" poses with the revo?
>>6330603
nah he still has to be agile
deadpool has had multiple comic renditions, but he isn't any bulkier than most renditions of deathstroke, captain america, or batman
>>6330609
no revo in general looks a lot more posable and can do comic poses, but the sculpt is very stylized and doesn't look as human accurate or western art accurate because of the proportions. Revo and figma definitely appeal to people with different tastes
>>6330615
> but the sculpt is very stylized and doesn't look as human accurate or western art accurate because of the proportions

>>6330751
>>6330762
are you guys fucking with me or what?
deadpool has looked like this since the 2000s
People opposing figma deadpool need to learn a few things about anatomy or take a life drawing class with nude models.
figma deadpool IS better proportionately. I have read all the comments saying, "the torso LOOKS long!" and yes, while that is true, looks can be deceiving. The torso 'looks' long because it tapers at the midsection, but is not long or else deadpool would have also had monkey arms. Your arms end at your hands (of course), but your hands end along the lines of your pubic area. Also, no way deadpool is supposed to be roided out. Deadpool has always been compared to spiderman and even then isn't as thin or effeminate. You can compare the figure to figma's ASM release as well.
who would've thunk that deadpool would bring out more autism than controversial nintendo figma that trigger nintendbros
>>6330799
This. Sounds like those anons haven't picked up a comic book since the 90s.

Shit this would change my plans a lot regarding my order...I was thinking of maybe not getting Zelda and only Link DX (I love her design but I'm currently playing TP for the first time and she's barely in the game, even less than your regular Zelda).
Just got my Saber notice. I can change the shipping options if I click the payment button correct?
my first miku arrived today, i didn't knew what to expect but when i took the figure out of the box i liked her a lot more than i thought i would, now i need a 1/12 motorcycle
question: how is the 2014 mirai compared to this one?
>>6331060

Yeah its very long
>>6330905
>tiny head
looks accurate to me.
>>6331214
I also thought on getting a Miku and that's the one I like the best. Might bite.
>>6331226
i bought this one for 3500 on manda, the cheapest one right now is at 4000, the only flaw is the helmet design, way too simplistic for a figure that is supposedly a rider imo, but apart from that the figure itself is fantastic
>>6331226
sorry i fucked up the photo
>>6330811
>take a life drawing class with nude models.
Good thing I've been doing exactly that for the last six years.
Figma Deadpool is not proportional.
>your hands end along the lines of your pubic area
Wrong. Your wrists roughly align with the middle of your crotch. Your hands should fall and end below the base of your crotch. If your hands END mid-crotch, like Deadpool here, you have fucked up and your torso is too long.

Fun movie.
Alright so, bear with me for a moment. I am being a little generous here and making some assumptions, but I suspect that a lot of reasons why DP looks so bad to us is due to the pose.
Just to be clear, I didn't actually resize anything here. All I did is overlap his chest over his abs a bit to simulate crunching forward (which I think will help his torso length a lot). I straightened his upper body (simulating waist balljoint) so it's not thrusting to the side anymore. And lastly, I straightened his head--I think that big angular jaw jutting out makes his head look bigger than it is, which makes his proportions seem even more fucked.
His proportions are still factually wrong, but I think it at least looks better in my shop. It looks like something I can tolerate.
>>6331284
>>6328649
>Wasted 10 hour in paint
I just did this out of curiosity, I think that length of the arms and the wide chest in the Wade figma is the thing that is making his torso look longer that it should
The edit in >>6331296 makes him look a bit manlet IMO

>>6331304
> All these mental gymnastics
The chest isn't coming down that far. Not happening.
>>6331285

>>6331568
if she can just sit in the thing i'll be ok, e.g. the guy in pic related is 5'2 (1.58m) so a little girl on a big bike shouldn't look that bad
