So with Wonfes about two and a half months away, it's about two months or maybe a little less that Medicos announces it's exclusives.

In recent years they have been releasing two figures per event (which would actually be way cooler had it not been for the fact this barely compensates for the lack of releases outside of that, but whatever) so we can assume we're getting two this time around.

Cast your bets now, what we gonna get?

I'm betting 1) Whitesnake in black/white and 2) Diavolo in an almost identical colour to his current colorway.

The devils advocate inside me wants to also say that instead of Diavolo it will be a new sculpt from one of the things we have seen already. So either Proscuitto, Ruby or Nash, or god forbid even Gyro.

Excellent, after getting acustomed to his lanky nature and the range of movement he offers because of that, it immediately propelled him to my top favorite figure in my collection. The ab crunch could be a little better but the tall scale he has and sculpt really makes him a standout and I do wish more anon's would pick him up if the price drops from his initial preorder.

And I guess if you want to be series accurate the two sets of hands he has are meant to compliment another IBM that Medicos planned fans to pick up since the bodies are the same but the antagonist IBM has 6 fingers and has the flat/open head which every IBM SAS has so it's a wierd duo purchase to complete a fight display.

If I have one knack is the neck peg seems so small and easy to snap that I'm generally very gentle when swapping the heads but overall he has withheld all my pose attempts and I seriously wish Medicos goes crazier with the mummy wrap look these guys have if another release will ever happen. Hell, I was shocked how well he works with PAK guns I had lying around and all I had to do was to softenthe trigger hand with warm water (which also made me wish he had one for both hands just for the chance to duel wield guns once I get another one of these guys.)

Just got Fugo and Bruno from Mandarake - 4500 JPY for 2 SASs were too much to ignore! Now the gang looks like this on my shelf - a long way to collect the whole Passione, but I like it all right!
The posing is just for lulz, yeah.

But now I have a problem for the future - what Sticky Fingers goes better with this Bruno? It'd make sense to choose by the colour of zippers, but both of them are GOLD as Bruno First's! Maybe there is someone who could pose their Bruno Second with both Fingers to compare and decide?

"Animefags", ie new fans created through the anime is by and large a foreign thing. If you're already in Japan you are well aware of Jojo and already like it or not. The anime didn't domestically create many new fans. If anything it reignited the passion in dormant fans, but that's about it.

I never meant exporting they (as far as I know) never did that anyways. What I meant was that they aren't releasing shit. I get playing it safe but creating molds and shit costs money too so I don't get why they would just use these once and then quit.

I get your points about stability but you can release retail waves of smaller magnitude so you pretty much fill the preorders with little extra stock. Just looking at the second hand market could be a decent indication as to which figures would serve a (smaller) reissue. Making new molds seems to be opposed to the point you're trying to make of cutting costs.

I mean how much money will they realisticly make at wonfes with only 3k figures if we keep in mind the costs of producing these figures and the stand itself (which I assume will cost them a decent amount too). It is the only release since that drifters dude so how many people do they employ like 4? I just don't get how a company could make enough money to stay afloat.

Again as far as I know they never exported themselves so this is irrelevant.

I just feel that they are out of touch with the market for their figures. That's it. Importing is easy but it just feels retared that they play scalpers in the hand by creating figures that have the potential to sell well and just release them in absuredly limited amounts on which scalper will make most of the profit.

The best thing to do if Gyro really is perminantly a wonfes exclusive is to email medicos about our displeasure and boycott their products. If we really aren't a big enough market priority for them even if we stop buying their products entirely, then really did they made the right move making Gyro exclusive.
