>You be chillin in your shuttlecraft when all of a sudden this slick son of a bitch points a type III phaser at your form-fitting-pants'd ass.
>what neon colored armorment do you grab to deal with this bastard?
also, general discussion thread.
Jadzia Dax came with a blue trill. I'd probably use that to symbiotically neutralize him.
>tfw want the Voyager
>it's like 300 dollars tho
>no DST one in sight
>even the Bandai kit is stupid expensive now
it hurts to live
I just want a decent sized Voyager with moving nacelles, damnit

I still love my TNG bridge. There was always a teamup between TNG, TOS, and DS9. Voy was hardly on the market at the height of my collecting
I found a Whoopi as Guinan figure at a thrift store for three bucks.
The old playmates Star Trek figures were god tier when I was a kid. I haven't collected these since then but have quite a collection and also a couple playsets. The TNG trsnsporter kicked ass.

$300? It seems to go for $50-100 on eBay when they pop up. Maaaaaaybe $200 if you want a sealed box.
Just set up a saved search and when one goes up you'll get an email.

I got most of the TNG crew at a local antique store for 5 bucks each. Pretty neat little figs to be honest, not the most detailed or articulated, but to be real there really isn't any Star Trek lines that fit that description.
Figuarts Star Trek when?

The playmates line is epic. There were several playsets and little dioramas they made for TNG. I have the engineering playset and the transporter. I might one day track down the bridge, because you can connect the engineering set to it. They also made tons of characters. There will probably never be a Star Trek line with this many playsets and ships and characters and scene specific outfits and loads of accessories.

Linked together with engineering. You could link it at the doors. The wall panels were also removable for play.

The teleporter playset. The set used a mirror and a light to make your figures vanish.
These playsets are so fucking cool!

Opened in a box would be ideal since they came with demo batteries and they've probably leaked in sealed ones.
Also even if I do find one at like $150 boxed, the Voyager is kind of notorious for motor failure which makes me hesitant to pay that kind of money for something that might already be broken or break as soon as I try to operate it. That's kinda why I'm still hoping for a DST one.

>yfw when they make figuarts Star Trek figures but they're abramsverse
Holodeck diorama sets
This line had everything. Modern toy economics would never allow for a Star Trek line to ever be this good.

Just.

Look at all the accessories you get for such an unimportant character.

Hey he helped bring voyager home.

Dammit anon, you just made me spend 30 bucks on one.
>>6330906
It's completely worth it. I doubt you'll ever get new TNG playsets ever again, nor the variety of characters or accessories that this line had. They also made figures from every show through Voyager and from some of the movies that were all in scale and compatible.
Some of the other compatible figures they made for the other Trek series'.
Khan!!! can menace your crew
The Borg Queen's a must have if you wanna build up your borg ranks.

I had that Picard as a kid and never knew where he was from. He was always "generic gangster" to me.
Fuck, I wish I still had him.

Can we get a pic of her next to TNG Borgs? I've been wanting her and Borg Seven of Nine but I'm not sure if it's the same scale or if they're those slightly larger figures they made toward the end.
I just started collecting this line about a year ago, they are dirt cheap right now. Stores consider them a hassle to keep in stock (along with Tick figures) but this cycle happens quite often. I remember about 14 years ago Filmation and Real Ghostbusters, NA He-man, Cops n Crooks, knock-off MOTU, were $5-$10 ea carded. It's a good time to get into these IMO.
>>6331059
I don't have her but she's in the same scale as the old 90's borgs. I found this pic searching around.
>>6331075
There's just something so charming about those figures.
Hell, I don't even collect Trek action figures and I want a little lonely squad of Borg hanging out in my collection.
>>6321987
My brother had this. It was so bitchin.

How did the Star Trek Innerspace toys compare with micro machines, galoob, and Mighty Max scale toys?
>>6321972
Is nobody gonna address Data with his hand on his cock?
I love these. They still hold up pretty well today, both with the relative lack of new Trek toys and the good sculpts and articulation they had back then
It's bittersweet outside of TNG though. So many crucial DS9 characters were never made since the line started to decline after the first few seasons.
>no Weyoun
>no Martok
>no Damar
>no Cousin Gaila

>Lifeforms... you tiny little lifeforms... you precious little lifeforms... where are you?
Playmates Star Trek were sculpted by the same guy who did the original TMNT line, as well as Street Sharks. Respec.

I had the Klingon Bird-of-Prey and the larger Enterprise-D. The smaller ships were nothing special, the one I had was hard to play with because the interior was just too cramped. The Enterprise, because it was so much bigger, was a lot more fun. Had a full bridge and captain's quarters and I think a brig. Also a mini shuttlecraft you could launch from the rear. It was probably comparable to Action Fleet stuff, but the little ones were only good as ships to swoosh around.
