I only have the Astrays, which apparently are some of the worst MBs, haha, but I really like them. I definitely feel they're worth the money; the detail and finish is superb, joints are smooth and tight, with good range of motion (though the metal-on-metal joints can have a tendency to loosen with heavy use), and there's a good heft to the figures. It just feels very much like a premium item, but without feeling fragile or delicate.

Never heard of that Anime Poko site, but I could definitely see them having stock of the F91. It was distributed domestically by Bluefin, so it's very possible that some lesser known US stores would still have them. Just be sure to use a payment method with some fraud protection, just in case, heh.

Very bare bones photo to give ya an idea of the size of a MB to a RD.

Aside from being the posterboy for Bandai DLC, why are the Astray MBs disliked again? The figures seem fine from the reviews...
>>
>>6307154
I've always had the impression that there's nothing actually wrong with the Astray MBs, but by virtue of their design they aren't as complex or detailed as past MBs. That plus the DLC makes them not as good relative to other MBs, though they're still good toys.
>>
>>6307178
>but by virtue of their design they aren't as complex or detailed
It's the exact opposite. The Astrays (and manga designs in general) are often MORE detailed than their animated counterparts.

It's probably the DLC rape. That always puts a bad taste in people's mouths considering what Bandai charges for MBs.

The DLC is only the red frame though, the blue and gold frame are both complete packages. some may argue that the blue frame isn't in it's final form, but that's a different topic.

Even the Strike Freedom, Destiny both have stupid expensive Wing of Light DLC packs, not to mention the F91's upcoming weapons pack, so I'm guessing DLC is the future of MBs.

Crossbone. Which versions of them are the best ones? I know there's only the one X-3 (unless I'm mistaken), but what of the X-2? I'll probably wind up getting both X-1's eventually, if I do that would the options part set for the first X-1 be worth it?

>>6308359
I noticed there was a difference in molds for the older figures and the newer ones starting with the X1 Full Cloth, so I was curious what people's impressions were. I can be very particular about weird things, so whichever mold line I decided on I wanted all 3 to match, so having Full Cloth with the older X2/3 would have felt very off to me. It's weird, yeah, but whatever.

I just ordered the set off Mandarake though, Sahra had all 3 of the new ones. I didn't order the web exclusive X1, went with Full Cloth, and then the normal release newer X2, and web exclusive X3, as well as the F91 Skull Heart version cuz fuck it why not. Cost me 171USD shipped with EMS, so I'm pretty content, can't wait to get them.
>>
>>6308233
The cloak on the full cloak version is the fiddliest, most annoying thing I've ever bought. The body itself is fantastic, but the pirate cloak killed it for me. If it wasn't a gift, I would have gotten a return. The X-2 is great though

>>6308881
It mostly a constraint of the design. I don't think there's a version of the Full Cloth (figure or model) that ISN'T fiddly to pose.

At least the RD gives you options to switch out parts you don't like without too much hassle.
>>
>>6308233
>osaka

>>
>>6308945

Thanks anon, just picked it up
>>
>>6308808
I have all those 3 so here are my thoughts:

- X-1 Full Cloth: pretty solid release, the fact you can make the full cloth armor go into a cape like configuration is neat. The I Field effect parts are also great either for the shoulder display or for punching shit. My only gripe is that the peacock smasher came in the closed configuration, couldn't they just add a little rail to allow you to open and close it instead of releasing the same damn thing as new shit in a exclusive release? oh wait they can, fuck bandai

- X-2 Kai: it is barebones as fuck, no pun intended. the rifle launcher thing is huge but really awkward to pose with, its only saving grace are the bitching beam effect parts for the beam sabers. Being the Kai version they couldn't give it the shot lancer, but they should at least included the standard weaponry, such as the beam zanber or a beam shield at least

- X-3: has the coolest melee weapon with the long beam effect for the muramasa blaster and also comes with the I-Field effect parts of the X-1

In my opinion, the problem is that no figure of the Crossbone Gundams came right off the bat with all its weapons, as they have a ton, but went full jew route splitting them into sets, going for the weapon add on set, to the exclusive release of the X-1 that came with the ABC cloak

well, only one did, and that is the MG Full Cloth Crossbone gundam
>>
>>6309193
how is the stability for the full cloth, does shit fall out easy?
>>
>>6309374
the full cloth armor itself? pretty solid
it is the effect parts of the I Field that fall off very easily

Opinions on the RD Qubeley?

I have the RD Zeta Gundam and RD Gundam MK-II and I love them, so I was thinking about getting a Qubeley to go along with them.
>>
>>6308233
If you want to give the mold a shot, just buy X2 first, it's dirt cheap.
>>
>>6309482
This also interests me.
>>
>>6309482
>>6309866
Not bad, but nothing really special either. If you like the design it's worth owning, but the articulation is a little lacking, and it doesn't have any really cool gimmicks or anything. That being said, the funnel effects are a nice display piece, and it is a nice looking figure.

I picked one up late last year, and I like it. Qubeley is also one of my favorite designs, so overall I'm satisfied.
>>
>>6309482
Nothing super-duper amazing, but as a representation of the Qubeley it's more then suitable. The funnel effects are simple but nice, and it has a very solid attachment for putting it up on a stand where it belongs. It has proper beam sabers, and storage locations, as well as the little wrist beamgun/saber mounts.

It's a big, impressive show piece to be certain, but it's not breaking new ground on engineering or posability.
>>
>>6309083

Spoke too soon, nakano cancelled for out of stock, but the quandary here was I saw it in 3 other stores sold out but never got figinstock alerts for any of them, and searching like I usually do didn't bring them up..

Strange things at the circle k indeed ted.
>>
Are knockoff robot damashii a thing? I'm looking to pick up some of the older wing RD figures on the secondary market, but I'm nervous about the possibility of KOs.
>>
>>6309482
Its nice looking, but really barebones, considering how the mech really has no weaponry to speak of I would have thought they'd try some cool engineering or something.

But it just feels kind of lazy. I mean the beam effects don't even peg into the blasters on the wrists.

Dang, sorry anon, I didn't see your question. I don't own Justice, but I have and love Freedom. Very poseable with excellent functionality of its unique aspects (ie its wings). As they were both released very closely to each other, I expect Justice would be a fine figure as well.

>>6310614
The only confirmed knockoffs are of the Unicorn and Kshatriya. Both are very obviously knockoffs as well, just the packaging alone gives it away (ie a red shape where the Bandai logo should be), and only turned up following reissues of the Unicorn/Kshatriya.

There are no Wing knockoffs, and Wing suits haven't been released or reissued in ages (long before the Unicorn knockoff appeared) so it's highly unlikely that there are any unknown Wing knockoffs floating out there.

So buy with confidence, especially if ordering from a legit retailer like Mandarake!
>>
>>6310628

Another anon interested in picking this up.

Do any of you happen to have the old HGUC Qubeley to compare it to? The revive mold is complete garbage and I'd like to see where the RD mold stands in terms of accuracy/stylization.
>>
>>6311063
Interested in this, but I want to know how it compares to the HCM Pro, which I have and love.
>>
>>6308808
I have the old X2 and the X2 Kai, and I'm happy to report that most of the old X2's accessories, including the the shot lancer, fit/are usable by the new X2. There is a slight color difference, but it's not a big deal.

So, having the accessories of the old one REALLY raises the play value of the new one.

I'm at work right now but I'll post pictures when I get a chance.
>>
>>6311063
>>6311087

I don't have either to compare it against, sadly. I'll just repeat that it's a pretty solid release in its own right, but not super amazing. If you like the design and it's not too pricy, I'd still say go for it.
>>
>>6310604
Damn, sorry to hear that. I was worried this would happen to me too on my order but I got lucky.

I'll keep an eye out on another one for you.

It's Messer against Mirage, what do you expect?
That AND Mirage's VF-31 is arguably the best looking one whether its one's favourite colour or not.
I personally think Messer's color scheme isn't very striking on the VF-31, but on the VF-1S it's amazing (especially since the purple stands out more) whereas Mirage's probably wouldn't look as good as his on it.

why? just for the double visor thing? I dunno, and that weird ass dark purple/magenta seems kinda bad to me
>>
>>6311659
Of course it's not to everyone's tastes. Surely there are many who enjoy Hayato's Blue, the creamsicle radar-dish, or the green and red one more (putting all love for their associated characters aside).

All of those have and edge, I believe, in that they really look like they're custom VF-31s. The fact that the craft already has a lot of dark/grey parts to it really makes Messer's color scheme seem too ordinary on it.
>>
>>6311662
does a grunt version of the VF-31 exists? that one would be cool
>>
>>6311679
yes, it is the VF-31A Kairos, it is pretty much completely gray, with a single antenna and monoeye in the head, so I guess a DX figure would just look like Messer's >>6311492 but entirely gray
>>
>>6311679
I believe it's the VF-31 Kairos, but even those are somehow more outstanding that Messer's visually. Delta Squad's are all VF-31 Seigfried's.

without the reaper sigil I don't think so, but the dullcolor scheme makes it look more functional and I love that, it is why the VF-25A with its olive/brown color is my favorite variant of the messiah
>>
>>6311699
VF-25A is a fine, fine choice indeed.
Back to Kairos, that silvery grey contrasting the gold-like cockpit just works wonders that Messer's tuxedo scheme doesn't, but they're a lot more even in fighter mode than battroid mode. There is where the difference in how striking it is just shows, if only due to the head.
Still, Messer's scheme is technically a winning one so it's not baffling why it's adored.

Actually, the grunt version of the VF-31 is quite distinguished from the main character's squadron.

The head, wings and even the backpack turret are all changed to give it its own flavor entirely. Considering the VF-25A was merely a re-paint of the VF-25G with a standard issue gunpod in place of sniper rifle, they really went the extra mile with the VF-31A.
>>
>>6311492
that's just because it is currently golden week in japan so most likely the sites has not been updated
even if you placed the order, most likely by next monday they will tell you to fuck off since the DX VF-31 will be sold out
the Draken is some weird exception I guess, perhaps not that many people liked it for being one of the bad guys or because its messy transformation?
>>
>>6311712
oh shit you are right, the wings are totally different in the orientation. I would gladly buy one of those if they ever make it
>>
>>6311063
>>6311087
I've never owned the HCMPro, but I did own the HGUC a long time ago.

It's hard to remember exactly, but the RD does boast some improved articulation, particularly in the neck and torso. Unfortunately the design of the arms and legs restricts the articulation there, so I don't think much is different in those areas. The shoulder-wings also have a good range of movement considering, but can be a bit annoying when trying to get that "perfect pose." Another nice touch is the glossy finish that most other RD's don't have, which accentuates the smooth design of the figure.

So an overall slight improvement in articulation, a nice glossy finish, and a decent display option-part in the funnels makes it a great display piece, for sure.

I mean shit, if I hadn't lucked out when someone left their bag lying around I wouldn't have my zaku right now, the lines were packed even earlier than anticipated.

Gonna be awake for like a week straight checking Mandarake for this thing after the Osaka roadshow. I'll pay whatever they're asking.

Related: anyone else have trouble with Char's Zaku's joints getting three times looser over time, even just leaving the figure displayed in a single pose for a while? Spent some of this morning tightening them up and it can once again stand now the hips aren't looser than $2 whore.
>>

what? is this bait??? or did you really steal your zaku off someone's bag???
>>
>>6314119

Yes, I was not proud but it was from someone I perceived as a scalper considering his bag managed to have multiple exclusive items despite being limited to 2 purchases.

And to be fair, I could've taken the entire bag easily but I only grabbed the zaku.

I look at it this way, if I wasn't meant to get it from this guy it wouldn't have happened, all the factors played to my favor and it was sort of fate.

Fatty will recover any losses through his scalping ways.
>>
>>6314097

Char's zaku being the first has that problem with every single one my best advice is to buy the mass production version and swap the joints out if possible and resell the char zaku.
>>

It's OK, I fixed it.

RG Zeta's certainly best looking one, in my opinion albeit something of a hand grenade. Otherwise you may want to try the old EMSIA or new HG.

The Extended Mobile Suit in Action Zeta Gundam toy.

Order from Mandy came in Thursday. Just got done making final display adjustments.

>Kshatriya
Lives up to the hype everyone here was spinning. I didn't go crazy with poses. Played a little with the funnels. Its too bad I heard the stand was pretty crap even then it wouldn't fit my display.
>Stark Jegan
This fucker looks so awesome. He was the one that initially lead me to Mandrake for an order. The others were just tacked on subsequently.
>Unicorn Full Armor
Options are great. Articulation lives up to an anon's claims. I need a stand for him.
>Full Armor Gundam
Ok, the hype is real. This guy is badass. Snapping on all the armor was fun in itself.

No regrets here. The order only increased my RD collection to 8 total but well worth the investment.
>>
>>6316886
With the Kshatriya you should be able to just use some clear nail polish on the stand connector to get it to work, that's all I did. The Full Armor Unicorn should have included a stand with all of its other stuff, too.

Unscrew the arm at the middle and the tip, then move the tip to the middle. Guess you can also do this to make extra long arms if you have spare stand arms.
>>
>>6317565
I am absolutely sure it came with one, because it's an Act 5 Stage with two arms for supporting the propellant tanks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thZLBWJsY4Q has a review where it shows the second tray with a ton of the accessories and it has the stand, and specific spots for the stand pieces. Unless I misunderstood and you didn't get the Full Armor Unicorn, it should have had a stand and it obviously included one originally.
>>
>>6318141
It's the 159 Full Armour ver. not the Full Armour Unicorn (Really great naming there Bandai, absolutely not confusing), it's just the base Unicorn, a bazooka, a rifle, a shield and the 2 miniguns on its arm that come with this version. No stand included.

>>
>>6318163
Oh! Sorry. That's the re-release of Unicorn in destroy mode with the hardpoints to be compatible with the Full Armor's equipment. Sorry about that.
>>
>>6318585
>I also found GFF 0024, anyone have any idea how that stacks up?

I have it. I love it because I am a huge fan of the Zeta design and Katoki's interpretation of the Zeta looks really cool....

However... It is really a display piece only. VERY fragile. There is a part, a white thin part, between the shoulder and the chest, that locks the torso in place with a tiny tab that goes into the side of the chest. If you play with it or pose the figure for more than a few seconds, this part falls out of the tab hole very easy and can be frustrating. Very fragile in MS and Wave Rider mode,

I would say if you are fine with a display piece, it looks very cool. If you want something more sturdy, go with the EMSIA

Sometimes small figures with good sculpt is just as good as a large figure if you want a large range of characters without using much shelf space.

HCM pros are fiddly as fuck when far less complicated and the joints get pretty loose just from simple posing. I wouldn't expect it to hold together well. The EMSIA is assuredly the most durable option other the old 80's 1/100 DX figure.

When ordering an RD off Mandarake, what does 'shipping fee' mean when choosing the shipping options? Is this separate from the cost of shipping or the actual cost? Because it says here that the shipping fee for EMS is 3650 yen, which seems ridiculous if it's on top of the shipping cost.
Ordered from Mandarake well in the past, but don't remember this. Can't find anything on their site about it, either.
>>
>>6320867
EMS is international shipping
>>
>>6320879
I know. Probably should've phrased it better, sorry. What I'm asking is, because shipping costs aren't calculated beforehand, will I end up paying the fee AND the shipping cost? Most of my EMS orders from HLJ of the same amount don't even exceed 2500 yen. So I'm just a bit shocked seeing a fee of 3650 yen, on top of possible shipping costs.
>>
>>6320867
Shipping fee is how much they will charge you to ship your package (shipping cost included)

Example : 3000 yen shipping fee.
Your item cost + that 3000 = total.

Out of curiosity, how big is your largest riser?

I actually just ordered a bunch for my Detolf, and I'm sure they'll work fine, but they're smaller as to ensure they'll fit in the case.

Anyway! I'm stoked to get them, as I'm sure they'll enhance my display much like they did yours! Looks good by the way!

>>6321111
10” Wide x 8" Height x 6” Deep

It's a good big size, it's a bitch to find ones this wide and deep without being too high. I'd still rather it be shorter, but it works with the shorter length shelf.
>>
>>6321126
Oh man, that's huge compared to the ones I've been looking at! Heh. I kinda figured though considering what all you've got on that one riser.

Since mine are going in a Detolf, I was looking at smaller ones for maybe 1 or 2 figures to fit on them.

>>
>>6308358

No. The true reason because the Astray Red has taken so much shit is because the white parts are not painted like the other metalbuilds.
They left the plastic visible with just a bit of coat and nothing more. For some this does not matter, but for others it's a reduction quality reduction, especially when compared to the Gold Astray or Strike Freedom. Considered what they cost, if a model is not at the top, I think it's perfectly normal to complain.

Fortunately, with the F91 they returned to they high standard quality.
>>
>>6320408

I'd suggest getting involved in the Macross World forums and keeping an eye on the For Sale board there. The sale forums there are packed with fair, reasonable sellers. Gotten some fantastic deals there (I got my DX VF-25G from there for under $150 when the seller could easily have gotten 100 bucks more on ebay) and have sold some of my stuff as well. The vast vast majority of people on that board are good folk, but try to deal with people with higher post counts as there are some bad eggs there (had one bad experience with a seller there myself) and people will likewise be more willing to deal with you if you're active on the boards there.

So what are the chances of us getting some gundams from the second season of Iron Blooded Orphans?
I know the first season's two gundams did not do well, but those second season designs are too good.
>>
>>6324426
Supposedly they're coming. Supposedly.

I would punch some babies for that Barbatos option set from season 1 they showed and a Barbatos Lupus Rex from season 2 for certain. Probably Bael and Vidar too, to be honest.

Is the Marking Plus Ver. Penelope worth 350k yen? I ordered one on Mandarake for 250k and they charged a whooping 100k for the shipping. I like him but I don't know if he's worth that much.

if your house is big enough to hold that monstrosity, then you should be concerned with a measly 35000 yen, other wise I'm sure you can find better use for the money

Have they said anything about Thunderbolt RDs?

They could recycle some of the engineering from the Patlabor releases for the covered joints.
>>
>>6326220
Seems inevitable we'll get Thunderbolt RDs if the show's as popular as it seems to be.
>>
>>6326220

I feel like we would've seen something by now if they were interested in doing Thunderbolt RD's. I wonder if they have decided against it considering most modern Gundam series do poorly in RD sales because most people would rather spend $20 on an unfinished model as opposed to $50+ on a higher quality figure.

Not trying to dash hopes or anything. Personally I'd love an Atlas Gundam RD, but I'm a bit skeptical.
>>
>>6326279
I think the lack of modern IPs has more to do with Tamashii trying to position the RD line as a 80s thing so that they can make up for higher manufacturing costs by targeting older nostalgic fans with more disposable income to throw at stuff. Judging by the ever increasing prices it isn't working though.
>>
>>6326220
it'll either be huge(therefore expensive) as fuck or fiddy as fuck

or both
>>
>>6326220

Considering we've gotten like ten total Damashiis from the last three mainline Gundam series combined, I doubt it but you never know.
>>
>>6326220
will they base it on the ANIME mold?
or hard point mold?
or all new mold?
>>
>>6326420
I'd have to be a new mold.
>>
>>6326303
Tamashii can't compete with HG gunpla prices. Maybe models aren't so mainstream in the West but in Asia gunpla represents the biggest chunk of revenue for gundam. I think the current ANIME line has it's own niche in Japan, which would explain the rising prices, since otakus somehow spend big bucks on merchandise

I already have the Unicorn and it's great. I don't think any figure cost more than $200 can beat the PG Unicorn in term of value.
The thing is I don't think there is a better presentation of the Penelope anywhere else. I looked into 3rd party models and they all look like a pain in the ass to work with.
>>
>>6326686
that's cool bro, life is short, get what you want and minimize your regrets
>>
>>6326420
they'll probably re-use the green FA-Gundam mold for the Thunderbolt Fa gundam, just add more shields

Not sure how they're going to stick so much shit onto a Zaku at RD size though

I'm not sure how good the google translate is, but it appears the Osaka World Tour event is going to be a bit different from the NYC one:

https://tamashii.jp/special/tour/event_report/osaka.html?dmode=tpc

I think it's saying that A. There will be new Robot Damashii announcements there, and B. That the exclusives will be put up on p-bandai after the event using a lottery system. There also seems to be some kind of presentation from a main stage that will be happening.

They're not impossible to get, just expensive. You could buy the Real Type Zaku on ebay right now if you wanted.... last I checked they were goin for $200 though. After the Osaka show and lottery there will be plenty of chances to get it on manda or places like AE, I'm sure.

Acid Rain exclusives are also not that hard to get, with a few exceptions. I just picked up two container guards last week. It's the older exclusives like Sol Deserter that are impossible to find.

Finally got my MB F91 from that Italiano fellow. It's a little disappointing... It feels less stable than the Gold Frame Astray, has more obvious seams, and the joints are ridiculously tight, so tight it sometimes won't move with what I think is reasonable pressure and I feel like I might break something by accident. And the hands, oh jeez. They're very tight and on a thin, long rod. Changing the hands is nerve wracking, especially putting them on. Joints that are too tight are a problem too. I guess I could play with them to loosen them up but I don't really want to wear the diecast into oblivion.

I think the high shipping cost was due to pic related.
The DHL rate (7,400 yen) + Customs fee (2,800 yen) = 10,200 yen which is very proximate to the amount I paid.
Anyway, I sent them an email requesting switching from DHL to EMS (which only costs 5,200 yen) and they were cool with it. The difference will be refunded back into PayPal account at a later date.

SHCMs are good figures. Very good poseability and the detail/paint is superb with a working core fighter system. There's even some diecast bits in the feet to assist with balance. If you like the chunkier style of the SHCM RX-78, then by all means pick it up. I prefer the ANIME RD now, thanks to the sleeker sculpt and overall more playable feel it has, but I'm still happy to have the SHCM in the lineup.

Literally nothing suggests that it will be for anything less than scalper prices. Americans can't order 99% of things from P-Bandai, it's a lottery anyways.
>>
>>6329425
glad to hear they were able to switch it back to EMS. I think they realized they mess up when you email them. DHL is be dimensional weight so if they use a bigger box it can cost much more. >>6329452
Lottery items and Japanese convention exclusives have a good chance of showing up on Mandarake for pretty reasonable prices. I've been able to grab a couple lottery/convention exclusives at or even well below the original price (SH Figuarts Clone Captain, RD Banshee Norn that was a Tamashii 2014 or 15 convention exclusive).

Demand is definitely higher tor the Zaku than it was for other RD convention exclusives though, so there's a good chance of a sizeable mark-up too. Hopefully having the item available at both a Japanese convention and via lottery means there's gonna be a lot more Zakus out there to keep the aftermarket price under control in Japan.

Fingers crossed, heh.

>>
>>6329508

Which risers would you recommend?
>>
>>6329637
I ordered these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00ZZ43PVC/ref=ya_st_dp_summary

Set of 3 in 3, 4, and 5 inches. Cheap and effective. I was actually hoping for some slightly larger ones, but couldn't pass up the price. I actually ordered 4 sets so I have options for each of my Detolf's shelves.

The only issue I have is the 3" riser is a bit small for more dynamic poses (it's the one my RX-78-2 is on), but it still gets the job done.
>>
>>6329637
>>6329655
Forgot to mention: I didn't know until I received them, but they're surprisingly "low profile," too.

As in they're hard to notice, which is great because they don't take away from the figures or clutter the visuals of the display either.

Do Hi-Metal Rs actually...contain metal?

Also, I'm not really into Macross but I'm considering the Destroid Spartan because it's an appealingly clunky robot with a club and a nice color scheme. But I am a bit concerned that it won't be able to do much thanks to its bulk. Someone convince me to either buy or pass on this.

Several of the major joints, and the bottom of the feet, are made of diecast based off previously shown publicity shots of an unpainted prototype. It should be chunky and hefty, while being about as posable as you could hope for out of the design. Hi-Metal R releases in general haven't been lacking in their joints, both in stability and range of movement. Spartan is a little doofy looking so don't expect the moon out of it, but it should move about as well as you could realistically hope for a clown-shoed, bulky legged robot to.

Draken is a very attractive valk, luckily had no issues with the tampos, though I did have some chips on the red paint on a few of the leading edges.

Getting the Draken into gerwalk was such a struggle. For the life of me, I could not get the crotch to peg into the hooks on upper body. Tried adjusting the hips into all sorts of angles but it just would not work, pretty frustrating. I ended up just resting the body on top of the crotch. Battroid went smoother and looks fantastic (though all my pics of that mode turned out bad, heh). Going back to fighter was a pain as well, and I'm not entirely sure I'm getting it right, but at least it looks great.

Overall a very distinctive valk that I'm glad to have (love "bad guy" valks), but probably one of the least fun I've transformed.

Figuarts Zero Mirage is pretty nice too (even has some articulation with a swivel in her left arm!), but as an anon mentioned, she definitely looks and feels more like a prize figure than a proper quality statute. A bit smaller than I expected too, though considering it's a Figuarts, I guess I should have known it'd be about Figuarts sized. I had originally preordered her but cancelled it later on, and I'm very glad I did. While she's a nice display piece for 2K yen, I would not have been very happy if I had paid the original price of 4K+.

I want to get a couple of the diecast mechatro wego figures. Does anyone know if they're good? My main concern is because their armour is all removable that it might pop off by accident when handling.
>>
>>6334892
No, they're very solid. I like mine a lot. Just be aware that they're REALLY small. Like maybe the height of two Lego minifigs standing on each other. Be careful with the claws too, the plastic feels durable enough but you wanna be extra careful when something is that small and articulated.
>>
>>6335182
Thanks. Do you have just one or multiple? I'm wondering about the armour swapping aspect of them
>>
>>6335469
I had two, but I sold one recently. Regrettably, I never tried swapping the armor while I had both, and now it's too late. It should work fine though, they're all the same mold. The armor holds on well too (no falling off while posing or handling).

I literally dropped all toy lines just so I could focus on obtaining this line to completion.. sucks how many webshop and special releases there has been.. hasn't saved me much more money haha
>>
>>6336606
Yea I have two of the original release Zaku's and him and there is some differences but they fit with the rest of them so I decided to keep them in the mix
>>
>>6336606
The Zaku 1 Sniper is still one of my favorites even after all the ANIME releases.
>>
>>6336610
Zaku 1 sniper is just a dope ass design imo so I snagged from mandarake while I could get him a little lower in price

How many generic Zakus do you guys think I would need to recreate the original anime in stop motion (only robot scenes obviously)
