The laser is a separate piece that plugs into a slightly larger hole that the sight part has.

Theyre also thin as hell so you could end up bending them if youre not careful

Also the box lies, one of them has a gun on his back but none of them are able to sit like it does on the packaging.

The visors are completely separate piece of plastic, not even glued on. You can just pull it off and paint it. I just used a fresh silver sharpie and then sealed it.

That's a great haul. I love the "future soldier" theme. What I find odd is the package has a black dude on it and all the figures are white.

Also, if you see the artic soldier with the jetpack, I highly recommend it too.

My Hollar order finally got here. Got a bunch of Borgia Heavy Soldiers and an Adewale.

The Borgia Soldiers are great, but Adewale's arms, torso, and head are all translucent. Not quite as translucent as one of their gummy chase figures, but it's definitely letting light through. No big deal, though, I guess.

Also, are there any good cheap-ish sets that come with a longsword or broadsword? I want some options for these knights aside from just axes, halberds, and maces. I'd get some from other AC sets, but everything I'm seeing just has a bunch of rapiers. I'd just bricklink a few lego swords, but every time I've used lego pegs in a Mega Bloks hand the hand ended up loose and eventually breaking.

See if you can find the Fortress Attack for cheap. It comes with a longsword, and for some reason it got dirt cheap really quickly. I found them on sale in a Toys R Us for $5 each - which is ridiculous considering the size of it.

I think it's because the A.C. line as a whole wasn't selling well, due in part to: lackluster sets, poor marketing, and the franchise as a whole starting to tank. That's also how I picked up 4 gunboat takeovers for $10 each.

Let's face it, Assassin's Creed was timed very poorly, and when Mega was developing pic related, Ubisoft pulled out of the deal, even though it could've raked in cash.

Saban said that they could go with lego if lego wants too. Those Mega sets were made in 2015 from what I heard and they decided to launch them this year.

Just because an Ideas project enters the review process does not guarantee that it will go into production. As a matter of fact, I'm sure the "review" is more of a courtesy for some projects than others. Power Rangers is most likely safe at Mattel, especially since the movie tanked at the box office.

I think this may be one of the most creative sets mega has ever done. The fact that the parachute holds itself, the clear rod to simulate the figure landing, the backpack, the handles. I'm impressed at the level of care here.

And just brush it on, completely covering the figure, then using a paper towel or a rag, liggtly wipe the figure. This will leave paint in the low lying areas, and make them more distinct at a distance.
