Got a Berserker. His articulation's pretty good, but he does have a few minuses:

-Car mode is very finicky
-Soft plastic
-Car bits just kind of hang off the back, which I would forgive if the bumper stored away better, but it just hangs there.

After 2 experiences in mis-identified knock offs I can say the real ones are nice and stiff while knock offs can be floppier than they should with poor paint apps and incorrectly pinned wheels, ended up shaving a peg so one's hood chest can lock down properly

After getting 3 Fastlane's, I they all have an issue with their arms not lining up in vehicle mode, mostly from their left arms.

I just got TLK voyager Optimus and he's incredible. The transformation is superb, even though he's still a complete shellformer. However, this time around the shell hide everywhere in a very clever way. The truck look fantastic and the bot is ever BETTER LOOKING THAN THE LEADER! Yes, that include my ultra expensive special new remold from Takara.

Sure that Takara remold have perfect paint, but it still a kibble porcupine. Oddly enough, my favorite AoE Optimus was the Platinum Silver Knight. I love it's look and it's more fun to play with. However, the new TLK voyager is now my #1, making Silver Knight #2.

By the way, this DOTM Takara Optimus/Jetfire isincredible looking in all modes, but it's NOT FUN at all to transform.

TF1 and DOTM where good but despite Devastator being so hyped up in ROTF, most of the transformatiosn where unremarkable and it started the trend of camera cuts early on where Optimus transforming into a truck in mid jump is obscured. My guess is, considering the paint is on the right side of megs face, and the left side of Primes, it means something happens when they are face to face with each other, and gets the red marking on both of their faces.
It's hard to tell, but there definitely seems to be damage to both of the parts of the head the red seems to be running down from, so my guess is that's their "blood"
Especially considering we see megs headbutt prime, connecting his right side with prime's left. And in that shot, neither have the red mark, though in the next frame, there is definitely red on OP's face.

I don't think his beast mode is THAT good. The dino head can't look left and right and that's a big deal to me.

Steelbane should have more articulation in the head since it's just one of his legs. As long as he has a swivel in the thigh the head should be able to turn to the sides.

If you look at >>6299959 you'll see that the shouler panels have the same hinges for the side tanks, his chest windows seem to slide in the same way and fold out identically, and his head rests on a similar hinged arm. I can go on with the feet and shoulders, but I can't really tell from here.

If it's not a retool, it's definately aped engineering. Still, it's to be expected since the ROTF leader was so good in the first place. All this needs is a waist and no weighty electronics and I'll be a happy customer.

Man, I really don't know what to think of the MP Megatron situation. Like, MP36 is more accurate by a long shot but Despotron is better built, easier to transform, doesn't have the breakage/paint scratching problems and IMO looks cooler (proportions remind me of Devastation). Also he's a lot cheaper, especially as a Britbong.

Though DESU I'd rather have a Devastation inspired MP Megatron. I like him better as a tank anyway. Shame the Leader kinda sucks.

Speaking of Megatrons, how's Cybertron Megatron? A friend of mine told me he's a good looking bot and theoretically really poseable, but the backpack makes him unstable and the massive shins make him difficult to stand up. He does look really cool though.
