RWBY has been slowly improving since its early days. At this point, I'd say it's actually better animated than Kememo Friends. Both have jankiness in their animations but RWBY now has a subtley in some of its animations that Kemomo doesn't have.

Hey guys, nendo collector for about 4 years now and I have a question about the sticky-figure issue. Currently I live in a small apartment and have been waiting to move to a large place (though not any time soon) before removing my figures from the boxes. After reading the guide on OP about sticky figures now I'm genuinely concerned as I haven't even opened up most of my figures whatsoever and are currently stacked inside their boxes a bigger box in the closet.

I'll be checking the figures this weekend and will most likely have them on display from now on, but will having it displayed away from the sun be a guaranteed way to prevent it from getting sticky or will it only reduce its chance of developing it?

Also regarding display cases, will it be fine if I get a completely-sealed case and air it out every now and then to prevent the stickiness or should I stick with displaying it in the open or get something with air hole/slits like the detolf cabinets from Ikea?

I feel like I made a $1000 mistake here not knowing about the plasticizer, I only come to /toy/ during Wonfes after all.

The stickiness comes from the plasticizer having nowhere to escape, so if they are out of their boxes, then they shouldn't get sticky.

If you open the case every few months then it shouldn't be a problem.

And even if they do get sticky, it's easy enough to fix.
