Thing is you gotta put the camera on a tripod or something solid, manually focus it, then use either a remote or the 10 second timer.

And anyway, a tripod isn't gonna solve everything really, cause I don't really think this is a case of shaky hands. They need better lighting, cause it looks like they took this with a really shitty camera (VERY heavy noise/grain despite decent looking lighting, and poor image definition even in the focused areas), and they need to learn to focus their shit (I can see the keyboard and monitors much clearer than the figures).

How do I git gud at setting up cool shots? I feel like anything that starts to get elaborate just falls to shit or I lose the poses and can't recover them just when I got them right. This is the best I've got, and the lighting's shit (not that I was really trying for good lighting, but still), not to mention the fucking twist tie shit, but there was no getting them to stay otherwise, and I really liked this idea.

I was looking to evoke an 80s look which is whats up with the color and grain but if you notice I always zap the color down a bit and add a bit of grain and vignette---- I do this because (to me) it makes it look like something you'd see on a movie screen. I mean, look at this >>6305069

The actual image is huge. What I end up posting here are oversized but compressed images. Not as big as the original but still too big to keep it sharp because they're optimized for Instagram. Its kinda like the whole "zoom in and loose clarity" point you guys were making earlier.

Also, I mostly shoot with a wide aperture which gives the pictures a softer look. I do this because I want to loose the background. Literally everybody else is abuzz over it so I'm not sure if I'm being told to calm my tits or someone else is. My only thing was that I don't agree with it being too dark.

Also, I take assloads of shots I don't really love, only really publish the ones I do and those I'm on the fence about usually get tested here for reactions.
