My choices seem a little weird but I want all these figures. I feel a little guilty not including any OT choices but I haven't got any I really want that wouldn't already be coming. (Emperor Palpatine hopefully will).

-Count Dooku long overdue. Nice to see an update.

-Nute Gunray/Rune Haako, TPM is my favourite film- I need these guys to capture. It's crazy we didn't get these for the 2012 3D Release.

Purple was in KOTOR and the Revan figure is specifically based on the Revan model/appearance from KOTOR II, which had him using a red and purple saber.

Legacy of the Jedi was a terrible run of books, especially for Jaina. Unimportant in the first half, then in the second half she is trained by Boba Fett to become the Sword of the Jedi and then is back to being unimportant except maybe marry Fel so we could have the Empire in the Legacy comics.

Quite the opposite actually. The Black Series stuff sells quite well, Hasbro is just retarded and overships/stocks the figures that are least popular and then doubles down on those figures. Every time. Jyn and Cassian are pegwarming so hard because Hasbro put them in like 3 or 4 different wave assortments and made them the most common ones in every case. All the ones that people actually want then never get stocked because stores refuse shipments with so much unsold stock sitting there. At this point all the stores in my area are basically still just sitting on stock from before Rogue One even hit theaters because they just kept getting shipment after shipment of two characters that have no demand. People want BS, but Hasbro's unbelievable incompetence alone is fucking it all up.

Bearing in mind we probably won't get a 6" Jacen I was thinking you could make a decent Jacen Solo custom TBS 6" figure with Bespin Luke's body as the base.
You would need to paint that to the brown colour he wears.
You would need to sculpt and print a head, and then paint it.
You would also have to sculpt his Lightsaber and print that off- you can get away with just the handle and then use the blade to slot into it, so negating the need to print a blue blade.
And you would need to somehow make him slightly taller because he's taller than Luke (1.72 Metres vs Jacen's 1.79 Metres). This I'm not sure how to do, so I might leave that.

I'm thinking of doing it but anyone got any better ideas/tips?

Never really done any custom work at all, nor sculpted anything or painted anything. I'd probably try and commission the painting of the head but the sculpting I would try and do- and I have access to a 3d printer. I have no idea what paint to even use to give him a nice brown wash.

This is a baffling question to me. Action figures are worth what you decide they're worth. Some people wouldn't pay more that $10 for a paltry bit of articulated plastic. Some people are willing to pay upwards of $300 for something they want.

As for me, I'd buy Jyn at that price if I didn't already get her for 8 on Amazon. I'm quite happy with it. The joints are a bit soft, but it looks good overall. I needed more bodies for my Rebels shelf anyway, and an $8 Jyn fits the ticket.

So Black Series Ben Kenobi is def worth getting? He's getting pretty cheap online.

Mafex was my #1 Vader for a long time, but after getting the new black series I realise he's just too skinny and his head/face is too small. The extra articulation is nice but I don't really feel it's necessary for a character like Vader. I miss the extra hand options but overall I'm happier with the beefier looking black series on my shelf.

That being said, the Mafex Vader is pretty cheap compared to the new BS so it depends on how much you want to spend and what you want from the figure.

I agree somewhat though- he is a little crazy- some of his ideas for figures to be repacked are beyond insane.
Toryn Farr for instance who you can still find in some shops in the UK but because it's TVC it will sell and it needs to be on a Vintage card.

Ben Skywalker isn't an exciting figure. He hasn't really got anything going for him like Jacen or Jaina but I do think he should (should've got) get a figure at some point. It's just that Hasbro's license runs out in 2020, that's 2 years of TVC. It's entirely possible that this is the Last Hurrah and so figures that need an update need to be made asap (like Yak Face and ROTJ Emperor). Ben Skywalker is a "could look like anybody" character.


I recently brought about 6 Nom Anor figures to army build but if they rereleased him/slightly changed the head sculpt and painted him in a different colour- green then you could release him with a New Ben or repack Jacen and Jaina.
I thinking of ordering more Nom Anor's but the seller bumped his prices up.

I think It's a foregone conclusion that Hasbro gets to keep the license in 2 years. Is it worth keeping it on the cardback? I will wait and see what condition it is in, but I'm normally an opener.

Yes. They were, in my honest opinion, the absolute best Star Wars comics of all. Zayne is a fantastic character. Just thinking about it makes me want to read them again.

Because Hasbro own the transformers brand and they get to keep 100% of toy profits. Star Wars and Marvel give them much smaller profit margins because they pay for the license.

Looking to buy Disney Celebration Orlando exclusive Chopper on EBAY.

The seller has it for:
US $28.75
Approximately £22.39

and
Shipping is
US $12.86 (approx. £10.01)

Plus this:
Import charges:
US $10.49 (amount confirmed at checkout)

What are these Import charges?

The purchase isn't above the £39 UK customs fee limit so why do I have to pay an import charge?

*Is that Ebay's doing because it's shipped through them?

So I've got this:

Ebay:
Import charges are in addition to the customs duties and taxes imposed by country tax and customs officials.

And because the VAT tax is on the:
-the price paid for the goods
-postage, packaging and insurance
-any duty you owe
That makes it over the £39 threshold so I have to pay 20% VAT which would be an additional £8.

But I don't have to pay Custom duty:

Type and value of goods Customs Duty
Anything under £135 No charge

So final figure £48

Have I worked that out correctly?

I don't know if this Chopper is even worth that.

The limit is £15 anon.

Don't buy from American sellers on ebay if you're in the UK, trust me. I bought something last month which came to £30 including shipping, I got charged £15 in fees. Not worth it. Wait for one to show up in the UK, or buy from somewhere like Jungle or Mandarake.
