Hey my girlfriend received these from her mother and I didn't think they were special until I saw one piece was marked 'Japan'. If anyone could help me identify these items and their estimated value I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Because if it's from japan it must be worth a fortune. Good find! You'll pay your kid's way through college!

Hey, I appraise these things for a living. These are worth 'bout tree fiddy.
They're generic hand painted doll house furniture made roughly around the 1960-70s. The dolls look like similarly generic clothespin dolls.
They're old but not worth much and seem to be pretty common dollhouse furniture from that era all made in Japan and painted by hand.

Thank you.

>estimated value
Why does everybody who's nobody seem to think that we're some kind of trading post?
This is a board for toy collecting, not helping people make the most buck for some shit they found in their attic.

What's wrong with that? I take offense at that comment, sir.

It doesn't matter what we think anyway.
As always, the value is whatever the other person is willing to pay for it.

THANK YOU!

And it's always nothing.

At the very least you have to give /toy/ credit for knowing almost anything you can know about any toy under the sun. We're a veritable repository of information about even the more obscure of items. I find that fascinating and very cool.

What are these two from?

A chinese Pokémon rip-off.
