Chibi edition
A friend mailed me a bunch of gachapon shit last month. One of them was this Kamata-kun pen thing. I kind of want the whole set now, god damn it.
>>6269743
Holy fuck I need those.
>>6269794
I just googled "Kamata-Kun gachapon" because I couldn't figure out what the indentation was for. I don't know where to get them online. My friend got it outta a gachapon machine in glorious nippon.
>>6269738
Where do I get this? I swear if it's fucking P-Bandai
>>6269738
I don't collect Kaiju stuff but that Godzilla is fucking ridiculous and I want it.
>>6269738
I love that it's 13cm tall, makes it ideal for displaying with Nendos.
>>6269738
You know what? I want that. I think that's pretty neato.
Hey. I don't know who's selling it, I saw it on a japanese tweet and I can't read kanji,
I do have some other pics tho.
>>6270684
>>6270625
Thanks, anon.
>>6270625
>40 dollars
There goes my interest.
>>6270698
Wait shit it's almost 50 dollars, double fuck that.
>>6270698
With that level of sculpting I wouldn't expect much less to be honest.
what's the consensus on the new Kong line, anyone picked anything up?
>>6272132
theres new kong figures?
>>6272279
well, as new, as the movie
>>6272132
Cost too much for what they are. I will look at them again when they hit ROSS and TJ Maxx.
>>6270698
Motherfuckers here are so cheap, I swear.
>>6273203
OBSESSED
Also it's way too much for what it is.
>>6273206
>Also it's way too much for what it is.
No it's not... That's a highly detailed (and intricately sculpted) 13cm pre-painted figure.
$40 is a perfectly reasonable price tag when post people here ponied up premium price tags for Bandai exclusives.
>>6272964
> $10
> figure
> accessories
> vehicle or display pieces
> monster
> "too much"
>>6273216
If you think the mass produced version painted by suicidal chinks in a sweatshop will look anything like the professionally hand-painted promo shots you're mad. They never do.
>>6273329
They generally don't look exactly like the promo but there's rarely ever a significant difference, X-Plus figures pretty much look exactly the same as advertised.
By this logic nothing is worth the price tag because everything we see in the photos are specially made prototypes.
>>6273231
They look like poopy, so, yes, I feel they cost too much.
>>6273329
Sounds like alot of SHMA releases that you fags keep buying for 100+ dollarydoos
>>6269743
>>6269803
I just got back from Japan literally 2 days ago. I found a couple of Shin Godzilla gashapon machines but I only passed them once; I would have used them on the way back but I didn't have the change. As I recall the lineup was:
>Kamata-kun with bendy tail
>Shinagawa-kun going apeshit
>Shin Godzilla standing idle
>Shin Godzilla going nuclear
>Form 1: that stupid fucking tail sticking out of some water
Clearly the tail was a booby trap and I wasn't keen on risking getting an utterly useless piece of plastic. I think you can buy them on ebay.
Kill me
Teaser pic. Interview with the poster artist coming at the end of the month. They're also being really coy about the figure's gimmick. I noticed a lot of hinges and panels on the thing at the Tamashii display and seeing as it's a Chogokin figure I think the odds of it transforming are very high.
>>6273362
lol well you know what they say about opinions and assholes right?
that you're a fucking moron
>>6274148
Yaoi Hands Gigan is a treasure
>>6273329
The sculpt alone is worth 30 bucks being mass produced. If these were hand cast and hand painted I would easily pay 70+ bucks on them.
>>6274204
> Interview with the poster artist coming at the end of the month
>He died in October
Pretty good for the price. The figures aren't anywhere near the quality of the ones made for the Peter Jackson film, but they come with more stuff. Can't speak for the other vehicles or Mega Kong, though as I only got the creature packs.
>>6269738
...Looks constipated.
>>6274226
Not that anon but I agree with him. While the toy include a lot of stuff, they still look like ones you can find at a thrift store.
Box of Gairas coming your way by Y-MSF
>>6275194
They look like shit and not worth a place in an adult collector's home.
However, as a toy for kids, they're perfect. Good price, plenty of stuff that comes with them. Kids will have fun playing with them
>>6275890
I was under the impression that whatever the fuck an adult collector wants to buy belongs in an adult collector's home
Finally got SuperMecha G in. Feels a bit more heavy than I had anticipated. And of course: no effects parts
>>6276630
Post more pics pls
JUST
>>6276993
I'll see to that after work. Quick rundown on it:
>slight improvement on joint movements
>neck has rock'em sock'em robot neck ability, can tilt head up and down for standard mode and flight mode (no need for changeable heads)
>Garuda is still Garuda, minus the absurd price gouging
>>6277370
That looks really good!
>>6277370
Still a much better paint job than SHMA
>>6277370
Looks great so far. Hopefully it ships soon.
>>6277541
The paint is the only important thing right?
>>6277571
The sculpt looks better, too. It actually looks like Shin.
>>6277571
$200 vs $25
> dirt cheap fig still has the better paint
>>6277743
$130
>>6277788
Eh, I was factoring my own currency + shipping, but the point stands.
>>6277788
Good luck finding one for $130, liar.
>>6277370
I'd throw away $20 for this
>>6277806
That's what I got mine for because I preordered it. Being able to buy it now for $130 =! Being able to buy it for $130.
>>6277848
It's not worth that either.
>>6277618
>It actually looks like Shin.
Well, wait for the reviews and then let's see.
>>6278816
Wrong all the time, aren't you? How pathetic.
>>6277370
i love the giant smile hes has
>>6275881
Hyped.
Got the Sanda but not Gaira. Excited to final have them in a 6 inch vinyl scale
>>6277496
Please post more about Mecha G!
>>6279600
You think I can still get the Sanda for a decent price or am I SOL?
Y-MSF is alright but some of their aftermarket just isn't worth it.
>>6277370
is there a release date for this guy?
Found this tiny Baltan the other day on Manda for a couple hundred yen. Pretty excited about it.
>>6281409
C-cute!
>>6281409
looks nice
>>6279924
here's one of four
I'm glad there's a thread for this kinda shit.
Should I? There's some guy in Japan selling one, and I impulsively buy anything whenever I get paid.
>>6281845
How much is he selling for? I'm personally not crazy about how that one looks, but go for it if you want it.
X-Plus is apparently going to be releasing this sculpt by Yuji Sakai in July, and it's fucking beautiful. I might hold out for this and just blow my money load all over it since Bandai decided to cockblock me on the SHMA 4th Form Awakening by making the third wave a fucking lottery. I'll see how Awakening actually turns out though QC-wise and what aftermarket prices are.
>>6281929
Won't this cost like a gorrilian dollars?
Also 2nd/3rd form when.
>>6281933
Don't you mean a godzillion dollars?
>>6281933
When I first heard about it, it was suggested that it'll be released as a 30 cm vinyl. That would place it in the $180-$230 range as far as I can tell looking at similar releases. I've never bought an X-Plus before though, so maybe I'm missing something. It's a lot, but not really more than I was prepared to drop on the SHMA Shin Awakening before my order was canceled.
>>6281950
The director had also made a show called Neon Genesis Evangelion. That alone is enough to answer your question
>>6281845
If you like the roaring face, by all means, but the purple kinda muddies the supposed intensity of the paint by quite a bit. I'd recommend the normal version, or just wait for the upcoming ones that X-Plus is gonna put out.
If you're into SHMA the Shin Godzilla merits a look, but only if you can get it below 200 shipped. Also be sure to be aware of the issues with paint, but if you're going all in with Shin you should know that he has a very difficult paintjob to get right. SHMA went with the glossy look on him which some people disliked.
>>6281943
We'll the 25cm one was $180 so I assume the 30cm series is going to be much much larger and much more expensive.
>>6281950
So it can shoot a laser from it.
>>6281989
Why was the 25cm so expensive? The line is usually $40-50 cheaper, Shin tax?
>>6281995
Because he's fucking huge. The 25cm Shin was the size of most 30cm series figures.
>>6281997
I can understand for situations like Ghidorah and Biollante, but why they don't just label Shin a 30cm is beyond me.
>>6282014
Actually it's the same reason as the two you mentioned. Shin himself is normal size, it's just that his tail is disproportionately massive.
>>6281950
It's the result of Goro Maki fusing with him.
>>6277806
That's its MSRP. Bandai didn't make a $200, they made a $130 figure. That furthers your point, but you're too dense to see that anyway.
Also mods are fags.
>>6281929
Dude's selling for £250, dunno if that's good or not, I have no idea how much these go for in Japan.
>>6277370
man, those proportions are fucked, holy shit, and the paint looks sloppy
Where can I get Mecha G thats a reliable website? I understand the shipping from gookland is absurd on all sites but I want yo actually receive the figure.
>>6281784
Are there any actual changes to the mold? I already have the original one and couldn't bring myself to buy it again just to get the Garuda.
>>6283829
The mold has a slight improvement. Joint areas don't feel thin like on the first model. From the waist up, it feels sturdy and not cheaply constructed. From the waist down, that shit is heavy.
But the chrome paint has my concern. It has that gloss paint feeling to it. IF you have sweaty hands: use a towel first. The neck area is the most vulnerable place. You will see lots of poses & movement there.
>>6282726
The proportions are spot on, dipshit. And the paint looks like it should. Maybe you've been staring at the Bandai tar baby too long.
>>6283925
what site did you use to get yours
>>6284269
Nipples Yessir. Had paid MSRP plus 20 dollars for shipping.
I am tempted to actually buy the stand alone Garuda w/ effect, but only to see if it's possible to make 3D print replicas of those effects
>>6283953
not really, but since you bring up the monsterarts, at least that one has the right proportions.
Poorfag wanting a new Mechagodzilla toy after going 23 years without one here. Are the Bandai Chogokins any good or should I just murder my wallet to get the SH MonsterArts?
>>6285803
Chogukin all the way. It's leagues better than the MA line
>>6285811
Even poseability-wise? And if so, why do the SHMAs cost so much more in many cases?
>>6285803
If you want kiryu then MA, its more accurate to the body type
>the birthing hips
>>6285836
Are birthing hips the only thing I have to worry about? Because I can take that if it means getting el cheapo.

Just got finished watching the Heisei Gamera trilogy for the first time. How did they make pic related become so cool?
Now I need some turtle goodness in my life, which Gamera is better?
SHMA or Revo?
Is there an obscure, even better one aside from those two?
>>6288871
I love the '90s Gamera trilogy but honestly hate how it's become essentially an open invitation to shit on Showa Gamera for some people, which have some awesome films with a lot of personality in their own right. Classic Gamera all around is actually more violent than Heisei, especially Barugon.
I imagine if Heisei Godzilla wasn't predominately shit, the same would have happened for that fandom too. (Though sometimes it'll still happen despite that)
>>6288887
Heisei kids are basically of the opinion that Heisei is the only good series, though. Shitting on Showa Godzilla besides 54 is nothing new. Just look at /m/
>>6288894
Somebody on /m/ unironically asked me if had mental problems for praising Son of Godzilla as one of the best, most creatively venturous Godzilla films. By that point I realized I wasn't surrounded by fans that "get it" like me (and I don't meant that in an elitist way but I guess it comes off like that) so I stopped posting there, and mostly stick to my collector facebook groups for discussion, much more variety there.
>>6288910
I don't see how people can see Showa as samey (which isn't true) when Millennium has a quarter of the films and 90% of them are creatively similar and dry.
>>6288894
The only people that shit on showa anything on /m/ are shitposters, children, and shitposting children.
>>6288779
Well, okay, I kinda want that.
>>6288871
>ask for toy advice
>it immediately devolves into series wars
>>6288894
>>6288910
>>6288935
I do t get why people feel the need to praise one era and shit on the others just because they feel loyalty to one
I love most of Showa, whether it's 1954 or mechagodzilla (not so much Kong kkng vs Godzilla), but there are showafags who basically say you CAN ONLY like those ones tsuburaya and Honda made, like for fucks sake get off your high horse they aren't perfect and that dismisses the great efforts of people Like Nakano and fukuda.
Heisei series is my least favorite of the 3 eras, because I felt after biollante Omori just got lazy writing wise with his remaining 3 films, but I still enjoy most of them for the most part, and I appreciate the mecha designs kawakita put forth (especially the double Cannon masers and gunhed)
>>6289004
Thank you anon

>Showa gamera
>Showa gyaos
>heisei gamera (a few)
>heisei gyaos
>Legion

Also it should be noted revoltexh are about 4-4.5 inches tall so they won't scale with SHMA godzilla if that's your thing

>>6289198

>>6289201
WAY too much.
It's licensed by Toho and made by Switch Planning so it's pretty high quality, but it was still 38800 yen.

>>6288901
The irony of course is that you're the same people who constantly shit on Showa Kamen Rider and Ultraman and probably most other great tokusatsu from that time. But please, continue to pretend otherwise to save face.
>>6289377
Well I don't watch Kamen Rider cause I'm not into foot soldier toku, but I haven't seen any Heisei era Ultraman aside from a few episodes of Mebius cause of the hype, otherwise I've only see Showa.
Seven's one of my favorite Tokusatsu creations in general, and my favorite Ultra Monster is from Taro.
>>6288887
Showa Gamera is garbage buddy, get over it. Being more violent doesn't make it good. The Heisei Trilogy took what was essentially unwatchable mockeries and made it respectable.
>>6288031
I don't have any of the original versions of this or the repaints. Is this a good entryway to get into SHMA? I only have NECA stuff now.
>>6289516
>Being more violent doesn't make it good.
The Godzilla series toned down on the blood and scratches since Raids Again, so during the '60s it was Gamera that kept such visceral combat in the genre, which was a big deal for fans.
That was Gamera's special little thing, and while the Heisei series has it's own share of spectacle, the choreography itself is a lot more "held down" and soft like Godzilla. I can't ever forget moments like Gamera turning Gyaos into a bloody water fountain, or Gamera literally drowning Barugon in his own pool of blood. The beheading of Space Gyaos by Guiron is pretty intense too. They had this weird effect of being child friendly films, yet becomes a tonal different thing than the likes of Ultraman or Fukuda Godzilla once the action starts to kick in, it's a very Japanese-like / bizarre mix of child entertainment you would never see created for American television (and even then we had Space Gyao's beheading censored)
Also it's a personal thing but the Showa Gamera roars are waaaay better, especially Gyaos.
>>6289525
It's a good starting point, yeah. It's a solid figure and good middle ground in terms of articulation.
>tfw hotel was almost directly opposite Bandai head office
I got (what I assume is) and upcoming release booklet for gunpla and plamo but knowing my luck it's from 2015.
Should I sell my MonsterArts Kong to buy other figs in the Godzilla line I tihnk witht he money I make form him I could buy 3 other figs max maybe even 4 if I buy a another 95 G, or should I keep him?
Will Bandai ever re -release the Kong figure or do arepaint of him cuz I do really like him bu I would also want other iterations of Kong because the Peter Jackson Kong is just a big Gorilla with scars. I would love a MonsterArts of the 1933 Kong.
>>6290963
I should have proof read this. I'm not foreign or retarded, I swear just tired.
>>6288161
>Mothra
That's clearly Rodan.
>>6290963
I'm in the same situation...
I sold my NECA Deadspace Isaac to get SHMA Kong and regret it. It's nicely sculpted and has nice paint, but articulation is ass where it counts, and joints are way too loose too
I've thought about selling it BUT then what if I sell it and then bandai releases a 33 kong or a 17 kong? Then I woulda missed out on an opportunity to have a King Kong timeline display going.

I have a theory of what the gimmick is...
The script where mechagodzilla looked like that had him split into two vehicles. This idea was also carried over into Moguera. The script, there were also two rodans. It was lit.
It WILL transform. Fucking cap this, you know I'm fucking right.

What's the deal though? Was this the original concept and scrapped?

>>6296290
that's a screenshot of this animation from legendary dopko was showing a couple of weeks ago
>>6296290
Seeing the direction they will take the new monsters has me curious.
I figured Ghidora would just be a three-headed wyvern, but whether or not they'll keep that golden sheen remains to be seen. I honestly think they'd give Ghidora a different color just because it's difficult to illustrate that bright yellow design through CGI, especially through typically foggy/dark filters and sets they tend to film these type of movies on. I also don't think Ghidora will have a projectile of any kind, Godzilla snuck one in because it's expected, and they need those brownie points, but nobody really associates Ghidora with LIGHTING BREATH except fans, it's an inherently ridiculous quirk as well. Everything about Ghidora is cool, but also very... Flamboyant.
Rodan's a no-brainer, but I'm pretty worried about what they'll do to Mothra, I expect something that doesn't even come close to resembling it, I have a funny feeling they'll go crazy. I just don't perceive the traditional design of Mothra, both visually and conceptually, is respected at all in the West. No golf ball eyes, no peanut figure, you likely won't get a good look at the wings since they'll be shaking at light-speed, and obviously a rebooted origin without the twins. I'm willing to be it won't even be an actual moth, they'll probably go the GMK route and basically turn it into a bee for dynamic effect.
I'm hoping the eggs and web spiting Larvae get a little action, but who knows.
>>6297369
shit's probably fan made or something, don't know why they'd give Ghidora arms/hands in his wings, looks stupid
>>6297495
not fan-made it's a legit screenshot from a video someone showed me a couple weeks ago thats basically an early look at a fight scene between 14 godzilla and ghidorah theyre making ghidorah look more like smaug believe me or not thats up to you

>>6297530
>theyre making ghidorah look more like smaug believe me or not thats up to you
I believe you. Muricans are unqualified to make something new and creative. Even if the have source material, they need to "fix" it and make something more "real". That's the reason because his kaijus suck: what is king kong? just a gorilla; what is 2014? just a crocodile; what will be Ghidorah? just a generic dragon.
>>6297495
I have no idea if it's real or not, I'm just saying Ghidora's likely a wyvern in the new film.
Oddly enough the "caveman painting" at the end of Kong Skull Island resembles more of a serpent, which would be disappointing but also believable.

Ghidora's the most well-known monster that Godzilla fights, next to Mechagodzilla and Mothra.

Kind of matches up with the cave painting in Skull Island so who knows.

well, maybe not a Gorilla but still looking just like a ape, nothing impressive.
prove it
Hi.
Biollante did nothing wrong.
>>6297369
>nobody really associates Ghidora with LIGHTING BREATH
The booklet that came with the NES game specifically called them Gravity Beams.
I'll just show myself out.
>>6297867
How do you convey "gravity beams" in a movie not from 1965 though?
>>6297878
it's easy they lift things up
>>6296941
No it isn't.
>>6288871
>Just got finished watching the Heisei Gamera trilogy for the first time.
I did the same thing, thought the girl was cute, looked her up, it's Steven Seagal's daughter.
Anybody picking this up?
>>6298608
What is that charizard next to it?
It's this guy right here - http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?scode=FIGURE-029542
X-Plus 93 looks amazing.
What is the RIC version for the X-Plus 93?
This forum is confusing. How can anyone tell what the actual topic is? The X-Plus 93 MechaGodzilla rocks. Trendmasters version sucks.
>>6298695
The Garuda attachment.
it's actually all one piece, so Garuda doesn't come off
So the Ric is essentially a completely different figure
Yep, you're right; it is Garuda. This thing looks massive. Definitely one of the bigger ones from that line
Is the MechaGodzilla 25 or 30 cm series?
>>6298631
Oh, well I need that in my life.
I love trendmasters, no x-plus mecha godzilla will compare to that figure
Love the nostalgia for those figures
#never forget
Trendmasters.
Though the new x-plus does look good, sucks garuda cant be taken off.
wut
>>6296290
someone's trying to damage control
that's a leaked image that an animator working with legendary is working on currently and whoever leaked it is obviously trying to hide that fact
i should just email legendary or tweet this to them
and cost someone their job because an asshat decided to post that screen here? yeah, great idea. You're a real hero.
>>6298785
maybe someone with an obsession of how much he hates godzilla 14 shouldnt be sharing stuff that violates non disclosure agreements
he can deny all he wants and youre all being fooled just bcuz youve part of the same dumb gfest click
That's weird, because all the posts to this public forum are anonymous. Pretty sure we have no idea who decided to leak it to the public.
>>6298807
Yeah, all posts are anonymous here, but this kind of thing might be able to be traced back in-company based on who has access to this stuff, when it was posted, etc.
Still not really following who you're trying to screw over here, all things considered. Would hate for someone to lose their job or be sued because an anonymous poster on 4chan has a personal vendetta against a completely separate individual.
need me to post the video file too
Welp. Looks like 4chan now has the user who posted leaked info on a public forum. Way to go, anon!
>>6298825
Sure
>>6298807
Pretty easy to trace backwards when you know who is working in what department and on what aspects.
>>6298872
>implying legendary gives a fuck about what was posted in a thread on /toy/
thats some stupid shit right there
too bad the Facebook witch hunt solved nothing
>>6298896
Why are you being such a faggot?
Why is some pre-alpha animation that is subject to change even a big deal?
>>6298903
design "reveals" and general legality issues, plus a hint of pettiness
>>6298903
cause some elite fb group was sharing this outside the group and it was supposed to be a super secret or whatever
anyway the guy who shared it is denying it up and down but everyone knows who he is
What the fuck is even going on in this thread right now?
>>6298919
unnecessary drama being relayed here instead of at /m/. Just Ignore it and move on.
^^^ Thank you. Sounds like a buncha petty BS that anon needs a good cry about.
>>6298935
I wouldn't call it petty. Violating NDA and posting leaked content from a movie that hasn't even begun filming is criminal.
lol first the group leaked that Shin Godzilla animatronic, now this.
Why do people even give them the time of day?
>6298938
>6298939
>>>/m/
>>6298938
Yep. That's not the petty part. The petty part is some anon trying to fuck up the life of some animator he doesnt know over his own facebook issues.
Holy shit Godzilla fans are fucking autistic
>>6298946
But the animator violated NDA, also a bunch of people know who leaked it already godzilla fans can't keep anything to themselves.
But why (besides the legal part) is the leak making people so mad? Isn't getting sneak peak to a movie exiting? IDK I like it I'm exited to see where it goes. I swear you people are blowing this out of proportion
>6298946
>6299387
>6298949
take your shit to >>>/m/
It's weird how NECA's Shin can look alright in some angles, and like complete shit in others.
I've been really bummed about how both companies doing articulated Shins completely dropped the ball on them, but atleast NECA's looks better in hand than the promo pics... Still not that good, but better than what I was expecting.
Paint is pretty good though
>>6299542
Looks awful from the front. Side view looks a little better but that neck gap is ugly. Arms look too fat.
>>6299542
its a 180 of their 1984 problem
then: the head was alright but the rest needs alot of work
now: the body is alright but the head is ass
still, probably need to get it because i need a shin, and the SHMA looks way too big to fit in with the other Godzillers
>>6299542
Honestly that looks really good from both angles. Not sure what the hell you're on about. That's VERY good looking.
>>6299542
Wow, I really like that. Hope it shows up around here.
>>6299969
only autists here are the guys defending the neca turdzilla
>>6299846
right it looks fine here, but in other reviews it looks like how it does in the promo shots, which is shit
>>6298939
so wait... someone leaked the shin godzilla animatronic to 4chan... and some anon tried to report the guy for it, just like this current one???
how stupid is that anon...??? they don't want leaks???
awful paintjob
sculpt is shit, just look at that awful siluette
>>6300121
Looks good,ordering now.
>>6298927
Now make pac rim jaegers
>>6300112
Still the best paintjob on a shin actionfigure ;^)
>>6300112
This looks so fucking bad
>>6300474
yeah, its fucked beyond repair, scult is off by a mile, proportions are fucked, paint is sloppy at best. its not with $20, sure the paint isnt great on a lot of shma shin gojis ( luckily mine wasnt) qc needs to be stepped up, but still just the sculpt alone puts it leagues ahead of neca.
>>6300483
Yours is shit too buddy, they all are.
Unless by some chance, yours isn't a glossy mess with sloppy red bleeds?
>>6300483
I won't pretend that the SHMA doesn't have faulty paint, but in the case of ShinG it's a whole lot easier to fix the paint than it is to fix the sculpt, and with that in mind I've decided to cancel my order for the NECA figure.
>>6300510
mines just as glossy ast say the g14 figure, the redis fine and appplyed eh-ish on the chest and a little on the thighs, the red on the pack and tail is flawless, only real complaint i have is the sloppy teeth on the lower jaw here and there. however when it comes to the neca, i wouldnt want to spend even 5 bucks on it, its an innacurate mess.
Say what you guys will about Neca Shin but I'll be content with it for the price. Sure it's not exact, but I'm not paying upwards of 200 dollars for a figure everyone bitches about anyway because it is "marginally better"
>>6301145
Yup, pretty much this.
I think it looks really, really good. I'm going to be happy with it.
Apparently there's one of the the third form too but it's not up for preorder yet.
>>6297761
At most people remember him as "That three-headed guy". If anything they would expect him to breathe fire and then be shocked when lightly cackles out.
>>6296438
They do. I think theres just few shops who want to work with bluefin
>>6301540
Like who? I can't find anything that doesn't have typical jacked up LCS prices.
>>6301403
>borf
http://us.p-bandai.asia/tamashiiwebshop/item-1000000749/
Anybody in the US need an alternative Mothra preorder?
Just ordered SHMA Gamera
Anybody got else got him?
>>6301756
I got him free from Amazon after they sent me one (that was already cheap, it was like, $40?) that had a ridiculously beat up box. I complained about the box, cause it didn't say anything about it in the listing, and they refunded my money. It's pretty nice.
Frustrating to deal with in parts, but good.
>>6301139
I ordered it because I had high hopes that NECA would nail the sculpt since I actually collect their figures on a regular basis. I complained about the initial reveal but found out that NECA said they'd tweak the final product so I ordered anyway.
So, BigBadToyStore is selling pre-orders for this, claiming it's out in may, is X-Plus on time with their deliveries?
The only other time I thought about pre-ordering was the Pop Culture Shock statue of Kotal Kahn, and it's been two years since it was announced and still not been released, so I'm glad I didn't pre-order that.
Soooooo, yeah, should I?
>>6302270
sure, just dont get it from bbts, they usually charge twite the price for imports, sometimes even three times the price.
>>6277370
thicc as fuck
>>6302320
Damn, it's hard to know where else to look though.
>>6302320
This isn't true at all.
>>6302320
That's not true at all. Although BBTS fucking NEVER lowers their price on anything. Ever.
>>6302393
>>6302462
just one of the many examples, retail/ everywhere else $70
>>6302393
>>6302462
Are you guys new? BBTS is known for charging more than other stores for imports that aren't locally distributed like Bluefin and the likes
Other shit too
Hell even fucking Hasbro shit like ML and BS are safe from getttig a price increase with them depending on how popular they think the figure will be
They even have that retarded optional "COLLECTOR'S FEE" that no other store has and tell you that basically you have a 50% chance of them giving you an item with a fucked up box because they feel like it if you didn't pay said fee when any other site makes sure their customers get their shit is in good condition before shipping
I'm not even a boxfag, but I expect my shit to be in good condition without some extra fee that no one else charges when the shipping box itself is spotless when it was shipped by Fedex of all people
Funny how reviewers shill the fuck out of them knowing full well they didn't actually buy their non locally distributed exclusive toy for double the price from them because no one is actually that retarded
They would be dead if it wasn't for their pile o loot option
>>6294943
I called it.
>>6296304
It was too expensive to do, so they carried the idea to Moguera (who was also supposed to be MechaGodzilla). In the script, there'd also be two Rodans like in the first Rodan film.
Another interesting tidbit was that Mechagodzilla was also considered to be turned rogue by a virus. The film had so many good ideas, but it ended up being somewhat dull imo.
The figure and poster versions also resemble the concept art (minus the wings).
>>6302676
>>6302621
I'm not either of the guys above, but c'mon bro, step your reply game the fuck up. Somebody puts actual facts in your face and the best you can muster is "NO YOU'RE STILL WRONG?" With absolutely nothing to supplement it? Weak.
>>6302655
>They even have that retarded optional "COLLECTOR'S FEE" that no other store has
Tons of stores have this. You are wrong and stupid.
>>6293997
The tail and backpack is so spiky... doesn't really go with the rest
>>6302605
Where the fuck is this $70?
>>6302794
nippon yasan had him for $60 when i picked him up
>>6302794
hes 85 at ny now, was around 60 at release
>>6302791
name 5
>>6302820
Nippon-Yassan, Ami-Ami, Hobby-Link Japan, Cornerstorecomics, Midtowncomics.
>>6302844
Congratulations for showing you have no clue what you're talking about. One of those is a middle man service and two are Japan based stores that have no such kind of fee.
Or were you retarded in believing that you could just list of stores you know and people would just take your word for it?
>>6302867
Uh-oh, someone let the autist loose!
>>6302867
>One of those is a middle man service
N-Y is a store.
>check neca shin g on ebay
>neca's own store has it
>"Free international shipping"
>click on the listing
>see this shit
wtf I hate neca now. Amazon is out of the question too since their shipping is about twice as much. This is what I get from living in a 3rd world country
>>6302889
>gets called out
>resorts to calling someone an autist
Glad to see your arguing skills are on point. Shame that even autists can easily prove you wrong though.
>>6302921
Obviously if you knew he was referring to N-Y you could see where he was coming from.
>>6303327
I was just correcting him.
>>6303325
The problem is, you were proven wrong. And you're still trying to shit on Bigbad for no reason at all.
>>6303613
bigbadscamstore
Is the Revoltech Legion figure worth it? Never seen a Gamera movie in my life but he looks pretty cool. Helps I'm a Tyranid player and they have a very Tyranid/Xenomorph look to them.
>>6303613
He wasn't proven wrong though?
Is there a way to get a replacement part for one of my figures? This joint piece inside my MonsterArts Kong's right arm snapped and makes his joint loose. I glued it together but its not the same. Is there any fucking way to get a replacement piece from Bandai or should I somehow 3D print one.
>>6305089
getting a pick of the actual piece would require me to take the figure apart again which I'm trying not to do for a while.
>>6296290
plz yes i am ready
"It isn't a paint issue! It's meant to look pink!
>>6305371
Oh god the neca one is bad
I like how it looks in this picture. (although I do wish the tail was longer and the arms smaller)
I despise how it looks in the promo pictures
And the reviews I've seen it's looked good is some and shit in others.
This is the most polarizing figure I've ever seen.
>>6305999
This confirms my theory that some people just don't know how to pose it correctly, including whoever did the official promo shots
>>6305999
>>6306007
>>6306095
Headsulpt inaccurate and still too big, neck is a bit short, still unlikeable.
>>6306451
monsterarts is still the better figure.
inb4 "shitty troll, muh neca" meme
>>6306550
They defend baboon/crocodile GMK Goji and will try to defend fried catfish ShinGoji
>>6306550
*less worse
All articulated figures have been awful
>>6307860
paint is debatable, the neca one is a sloppy mess when t comes to paint, shma is lacking in the details.
>>6306095
Those are some fucked up proportions
Why did the give him a fucking horserider stance?
