Lets not get deleted this time around guys.
Backerkit is almost done for Eagle Force IIRC. I haven't remembered shit from everything else besides FSS shipping out.
>still no release date for this...
Fucking sucks to be poor and wanting to get all the gi joes you want.
That's all.

what vehicle is this?
I paid a guy to build me a Cobra Temple recently. Here's the progress pics he sent me yesterday.
>>6265519
Should have painted up pics later this week. I figured I needed a base for my Cobras since Hasbro isn't putting out any.
Pic related is my only other dio.
>>6265346
why'd the last thread get deleted anyways? by the time I'd noticed it on the catalog it was already gone.
>>6265509
How much do you pay for a commison like this, if you don't mind the question?
Also, will he paint it too?
>>6265679
Im pretty sure it reached the bump limit. So there was no stopping the inevitable.
>>6265479
Its the corps. Got it last Black Friday for $20.
>>6265543
I really like the "Wolf Squad" colors and am glad we 've gotten enough recent figures to make a cohesive unit.
Although new Hit n' Run is probably my favorite.
>>6265861
Cost me $300. I used money from tax return on it. And yes he does paint it. Here's a pic of another Cobra Temple he did.

I'm going to a lot more free time and a lot more space after July of this year and I really want to get into doing dio commissions. I love making them, but I simply don't have room to keep them all. But if I could make them and then send them off to loving homes then that would be the best of both worlds.
>>6265679
I think because there wasn't enough talk about the actual toys, just what Hasbro was doing with the property.
>>6266156
That's pretty neat. Looks way too big to display. I don't know if I would get one just because of a lack of space. But that would look nice with some paint and custom Joe stickers.
>>6266167
Wolf Squad's one of the jewels of 50th. It was a nice touch that they gave Hit & Run matching colors. I'm not sure but I think 50th Chuckles and a few other figures might be Wolf Squad also. I say Chuckles might because the SDCC version of the set comes with another Wolf Squad figure.
>>6266231
It is pretty large but its good for pics and it was cheap
>>6266226
I'd recommend pricing between $100-300 per dio based on size and quality as well as the amount of time and effort needed to construct each one.
Base coat is on my dio now
>>6265366
I'm hoping that BFS is rethinking the blind bag method of distribution. I want some of these, but not all of them in every color.
I havent posted in a while.
Man I'd really like marauders if they werent so monotone in color scheme.
And ankle rockers goddamn. Maybe some more full face helmets or gasmask head sculpts.
Just give me AR but cheaper and cleaner pls senpai, kit is destroying my wallet
>>6267769
Monochrome?
Orange chest armour
on on black T-shirt
desert cammo legs/waist.
Blue pouches.
It's a horrible combination but anything but monochrome.
or do you mean something like this? (not mine)
I would like the rockers as well but man give them time. I would like Arctic Valks but I can wait till November or whatever. You can mix n match for a lot of combinations and unlike Joes you can buy new products at a reasonable rate.
Wellp, I caved in and ordered Talos and some other stuff. Expensive but man.
>>6265538
That temple is prety fantastic looking, totally worth the money paid for it. Though I'm curious how much it'll cost to ship that beast because unless that thing can get broken down it's gonna cost almost as much to ship it as it did to build it. But it just makes an awesome stronghold for Cobra to set up shop as they raid some long forgotten jungle filled with treasures and artifacts.
I never had any actual Cobra bases myself, but as a kid I used the Roboforce Fortress of Steele. It's a bit out of scale but works fantastic as a Cobra base as it looks like a mountain on the outside, but opens up into a high tech base. They're pretty cheap to find nowadays iirc and I managed to come across one in decent shape that I'm hoping to upgrade for my Cobra forces.
>>6267769
They're only as monotone as you want them to be. The torsos and legs are easy to swap, arms pop off and can be changed, and you can get their gear in almost an color you can think of. That's not even mentioning the ones with camo paint jobs.
>>6268485
My girlfriend "talked to me" after I had taken pictures of the Baroness in that.

Have fun tonight.
Came across a nice pic on 2chan. Centre-piece is the just-released SHODO Kamen Rider ZECT trooper.
>>6269094
What's a good place to get SHODO anyhow?
I always meant to ask in the figuarts thread when they come up but never did.
Individual ones, I mean. Need Amazon.
>>6269134
There's no good place really, if you miss the pre-order window 4 months prior at international online retailers like AmiAmi, Hobby Search, etc.
Your next best bet is to buy from Japan-only dealers (which have shit loads of them) on AmazonJP, YahooJP, Rakuten through some proxy buying service. These proxy services have their own ups-and-downs like secondary fees, ability to combine your orders, processing time, order storage duration, etc. it's just another whole mess on its own.
For you guys.

I know, I know I just want to see her, she seems to be a nice candidate for my collection, BFS makes nice stuff, the space series concept looks amazing, sad to know we will need to wait a year or two...

I honestly feel like the Fantasy line is a D&D toy line pitch Boss Fight kept making to the higher ups back when they were still at Hasbro.
Have to say I like this lineup wayyyy more than the Greek mythology waves.
I'm disappointed that they are using the basic female body for the fairies and stuff. That body is too big and buff. I would like to see them be a little smaller and petite.
>>6269524
They seems to come with way more accessories, so you may be right on that.

guyws I have a question for the ones who have a Boss Fight Studio blank, blanks include 4 heads if i'm correct, heads need a double ball joint piece, it conects the neck with the head... the question is, how manny of those pieces go in each blank, one in total for all the heads or each head have it's double ball piece conector? (sorry for my bad english)
>>6273593
Each head included has one double ball joint piece. They're a bitch and a half to remove FROM the head so I guess they figured that made more sense.

It will be cool to see if all this toys can share pieces between brands

i love how he thinks hes a big shot in the community because he runs that shitty board. and his campaign for a 6 inch line utterly failed.
>>6277003
Isn't he though? I don't see /toy/ breaking news or influencing a large part of the gi joe community.
>>6277016
other sites will break news just as fast for the most part. and hisstank has released hasbro press release info early on a few occasions, to be first.
>>6276390
>rambling tl;dr essays about how G.I. Joe needs to become a 6" line?
Destro? Yeah that's his crusade.
The thing that he never got is that a 6-inch collector line at retail is something you give a healthy property. Something like Marvel or Star Wars with is firmly in the public consciousness and will sell toys to both collectors, kids and parents. It's not some magic shot in the arm for a property that's failing in every avenue they tried it EXCEPT for the collectors, like with Joe.
Now if they did a dirct to consumer Joe six inch line, I'm sure that would sell. Like some kind of MOTU Classics type of thing.
But guess what would also sell in that format?
A Joe 1/18 line aimed at collectors. In fact it already fucking exists.
Poor Destro is just kind of living inside a shell.
>>6277028
>Now if they did a dirct to consumer Joe six inch line, I'm sure that would sell. Like some kind of MOTU Classics type of thing.
I'd buy it. If I could just subscribe to something and get Joes delivered I would, not like the crappy af Collector Club though.
The thing I like most about Joes is the scale. I love 1/18. It's big enough for good articulation but small enough for easy storage. You can have vehicles and make big dioramas and it's easy to army build. I'd get like two figures (Storrm Shadow and Snake Eyes) in a 6 in line and be done with it.
The only thing I'd buy more of is a smaller line of articulated figures. Like the upcoming smaller Acid Rain stuff or Mega Construx. Give me 2.5 in guys with playsets and I'd be all over it.
>>6276269
I never saw this toy (or dont remember in my country) what years is from this "the Corps" toy? are they making a reboot or something, I think I saw in some youtube videos decent vehicles
>>6277277
It's a new/as-yet unreleased figure.
>>6277028
I think a 1:12 GI Joe line is a shitass idea, but companies routinely chase after what's popular in the market place.
It's why 1:18 scale was actually very popular in the aughties, with a bunch of different companies producing ~1:18 scale lines.
So for him to keep pushing 1:12 stuff, it's not out of line with how toylines are marketted and produced.
>>6277061
Smaller lines are shit, because you start losing articulation. 1:18 can have all the articulation or at least poseability the larger lines get.
Also, I think the smaller Sigma 6 figures were 2.5".
>>6277061
>>6277579
>>6277615
As nice as those figures are, they're only as good as the original 3.75" figures.
I expect better now from my 1:18 toys.

> It's not some magic shot in the arm for a property that's failing in every avenue they tried it EXCEPT for the collectors, like with Joe.
the one thing I can think of that Hasbro hasn't tried that could salvage GI Joe as a property in the public eye; make it a video game franchise.
I'm sure that if they entrusted the property to a competent developer and had them make something marketable, it could work. like, say, one of them class based moba-shooters that are popular at present, like Overwatch.
but maybe that's just me. I mean, I'm of the opinion that GI Joe should just be more like Metal Gear, so who knows.
Does Boss Fight take a bit to send off figures? I'm getting antsy about my golden skelly
>>6277710
sometimes, they are a small company after all
>>6277704
>I mean, I'm of the opinion that GI Joe should just be more like Metal Gear, so who knows.
Apparently you knows, because MGS is exactly the right kind of mix of Military realism and wacky bullshit to be a right proper GI Joe thing.
I mean, fuck, Billy Kessler IS a Cyborg Ninja!
This is probably fruitless but does anybody know a way to get Joe Club exclusives without joining the goddamned club? Can I just find someone on Hisstank to order something for me or something? The online stores that stock club stuff charge out the ass.

What IS G.I. Joe for you?
>inb4 "a big guy 4 me"
-Gi Joe is military porn. Soldiers front and center showing their weapons, manning the vehicles and guns; *clink-clank* when putting their hands on a machine gun and rattling when running.
-Gi Joe is 5-10 years into the future now, with strong ties to the past.
-Sci-fi meets cold war with a flirt with fantasy.
-vehicles as important as the characters.
-American as apple pie, cheese pizza, mcdonalds, guns.
-Homages in good taste with out coming out as plagiarism (aliens, predator, mad max, halo etc)
-G.I. Joe is THE ELITE the best there is. Better than seal team six or devgru, delta etc.
-Gi Joe is super articulation. 5POA is not joe.
-Nostalgia and new hopes. PoC should be what the line was trying to be.
-Affordable. Army building is a thing.

>>6279512

>>6279512
How's the articulation on these? The MU figures really went downhill, sadly
>>6279512
>Dr. Strange is a manlet
what a shame
>>6279544
It's still on the low side. All the new MCU bodies from Antman onward have similar articulation layouts. Their legs are well articulated with double-hinged knees and those nice ball-hinged ankles, while their upper half is missing wrist joints and torso ball joints. Some figures like Dr Strange have a waist swivel hidden by the belt.
>>6279608
A lot like the "Marvel Legends 3.75" ones or whatever the line is called now. No fucking torso joint on those, and no biceps or wrists. Which is unbelievable because they ALREADY HAVE THE MOLDS to make these figures with proper articulation!
>>6279514
Ill get him and do a head swap. He'll make a nice wizard for my fantasy figures.
You know what I was thinking GI Joe needed?
A small media blitz and successful mobile game. I'm sitting here playing the new TF Forged to Fight game and it's honestly making me want figures even of the movie guys. Maybe I'm just supper susceptible, but I would buy a nice figure of movie Ironhide right now just because he looks good and has been super useful in this game. In fact TF has two successful mobile games going right now helping to keep the franchise in people's minds.
You could basically reskin Forged to Fight with Joe and Cobra characters, throw in a flimsy story about a Cobra secret weapon exploding to make a temporal rift, and then bring in different versions of characters from different iterations of the franchise to fight in a MK-style competition or whatever.
>>6279514
No dude. He's just astral projecting himself to a Phish concert.
>>6279667
Speaking of which, his spirit form figure uses this luminescent translucent plastic that gives it a nice "astral" effect. Not too bad considering you are buying two of the same figure in one set.
>>6279653
He actually looks more like Benedict Cumberbatch without paint and the derpy pupils.
>>6279638
Yeah why did they do that?

>>6277579
1:12 Joes would cost around $20 minimum unless you super-duper gimp figures articulation-wise and only give them one weapon.
Also, you'd make army building next to impossible in the 1:12 scale and worse, you'd fall prey to the line dying prematurely for the same reason why Sigma Six died a slow and painful death due to Hasbro pushing only certain characters (IE the 1:12 line being nothing, NOTHING but Duke in different environmental uniforms with the random Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow thrown in for variety).
You'll be lucky to get Cobra Commander or Destro made and worse, no Vipers and only one Cobra Trooper and no Viper, let alone no specialty Viper or Crimson Guard. Also, no female characters whatsoever (no Baroness, no Scarlet, no Lady Jaye or Jinx or Cover Girl or Zarana).
And then you have which Joes get 1:12 figures. Duke would get a TON of them, as would Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. But what about Beachhead? Flint? Dial Tone? Roadblock? Stalker? Hawk? Spirit? Wet Suit? Gung Ho? Leatherneck? Shipwreck? Or do we get nothing but morts like Heavy Duty over Roadblock and, to evoke the grim spectre of Sigma Six, Flint being released under another name and the Flint name being used for Spirit, Shockwave being released with Lowlight's name, and Barbacue being released with an entirely new name?
TL;DR Hasbro has so many way to fuck up a 1:12 just like they fucked up Sigma Six
Very happy with my order
>>6281089
You can get around SOME of that.
Beachhead would be a given for the same reason he kept getting new figures in the modern line: he can easily be retooled into Firefly, let alone Shockwave/Wide Scope if you are froggy.
Cobra Trooper/Officer can be handled if you give him an interchangible head with the Trooper head having one mask color and the Officer having the other mask color. The only problem would be web gear differences.
You could probably jerry-rig Dial Tone with Flint. New arms and painting a mustache on Flint's head and using web gear ala Buzzsaw's shared webgear with Dial Tone in the 25th Anniversary line, to get around using Flint's buck for Dial Tone's.
Roadblock could be done if only because they could recycle his big guy buck for other figures ala the 25th Anniversary line: Copperhead, Vipers (if they want them to be different enough from the Troopers/Officers via having the Troopers/Officers be smaller/slender to the Vipers Chad Thundercock Marine Corp body types), and Leatherneck.
If they make the vest removable ala the 25th Anniversary line, they could get around a lot of shit customization, to make a few bucks work to make a bunch of figures.
you know how to sell multiple copies of the same figure? Pack in a second head, masked preferably and you have people's autism spiking to display both version. Or even make faceless army builders.
What was Takomy thinking?
>>6281089
Seeing how Hasbro handles both Star Wars Black and Marvel Legends, I don't think they'd have trouble with producing a fully fleshed out 1:12 Joe line. Especially since a lot of the problems they had during the Sigma Six era no longer exists (i.e. not having access to certain names).
If anything, a 1:12 Joe line would be easier to release multiple different figures for since they could reuse a lot of the same parts for multiple figures...exactly like they did for the Modern Line. Hell, just upscaling the 1:18 modern line would probably make for some fantastic 1:12 figures.
That said, I still wouldn't WANT a 1:12 line and I highly doubt it would even sell to mass market (unlike ML and SWB). But then again, who expected the original 25th line to explode into the Renaissance of Joes we had for most of the last decade.
But if they did ever make a 1:12 line of Joes....I'd probably end up buying some.
>>6281238
There's an abyss between the fanbase size of Star Wars, Marvel and GI Joe, even if you reduce it down to "people who would buy toys of it".
I don't think Hasbro considers it economical. Maybe for the rumored "diversified" new relaunch of Joe that's coming if that movie actually comes out.
It's happening!
>>6281536
I would love to see the females and their clothes, hope we will have some kind of male and female clothes pack and we can dress our blanks with modern outfits, also some kind of monstres like the Resident Evil ones, lab feak mutant monster thing
>>6281536
The upper bodies look amazing, but the legs are terrible. The hips are too wide, that gap in the crotch is real ugly, and why is everyone wearing freshly ironed slacks? Especially for a zombie sculpt, I would want to see some more wear to those pants (yes I see that one little rip in the thigh, it's not enough), and more droopiness/poor fit as the pants sag around the zombie's gaunt frame.
Also, just a side point: I actually think thigh or knee swivels are SUPER important for zombie toys. They allow for proper splay-leggged staggering poses. The lack of either here is disappointing.
>>6281711
sadly the only monster is a 4 arms zombie thing, still very human for my taste
>>6281709
the gap will be covered, see the hacks construction, this figures have still missing pieces in the articulations, take a look to the legs in this image
>>6281734

Given how utterly and completely half-assed last year's selection was, they really fucking need to up their game.
At the very least, we need some of the ultra rare figures FINALLY see a retail release: Dial Tone, Zarana, Jinx, Claymore, Footloose, Iceberg all getting a mass release.
Captain Gridiron finally getting a figure (he's one of the last few big name characters without an action figure) and doing him in a two-pack with Metalhead, another rare that needs a mass retail release.
Python Patrol versions of the new Viper/Trooper/Crimson Guardsman molds
Ultimate Duke re-issued sans unmasked head for army building without having to pay rape dollar price
>>6281893
no one?
>>6283105
They should reissue the remolded Vamp. I missed out on the new Vamp save the Retaliation one. Fun and all. I kind of want the Rise of Cobra one.
>>6283105
Jinx and Zarana are the only two of those "rare" figures Hasbro can legally re-issue.
IIRC they had to rebuild the Saw Vipers from scratch due to the convention folk owning the molds for Claymore/Dial Tone/Footloose/Iceberg/Metalhead.
Python Patrol might happen. It's a no brainer.
They just re-issued the Ultimate Duke mold (sans head) so it's not going to happen.
Captain Gridiron isn't going to happen because Hasbro hates him. And so does the JoeCon folk.....
>>6283105
>So what should/could we expect?
I'd like a regular release of the Club Stalker in some colour scheme or another. Maybe white tiger-pants?
Lt. Stone. Or Longshot. Use the good ideas S6 actually did have.
A new Rock'n'Roll.
Maybe something along the lines of S6 Back Robber Destro, to do more money briefcases?
Or like, IDW Tomax or Xamot or something for the same reason? Or Headman? (And some Headhunters to back him up?)
Wild Bill could maybe use a less pinheaded modern figure.
>>6282762
For some reason I recall hearing that Hasbro will not be at Joecon.
ordered some marauder guns, a figure and a chair. really satisfied.
>>6286212
Marauder chairs, tables, beds, laptops, etc. are the same used in Power Team Elite sets.
>>6283179
Hasbro is doing HasCon now. They killed FunPubs Transformers license and were going to roll GI Joe into it too but decided to fuck it and give FunPub an extension because they care that little about the property.
>>6283145
>Wild Bill could maybe use a less pinheaded modern figure.
The version included with the Dragonhawk has a larger, better proportioned head.
I have all these sitting in storage and don't really collect this scale anymore. How much could I get for the whole lot (with accessories included)?
>>6286260
I wonder how they get them.
I asked M&C (the guys that make PTE) for a quotation on bulk chairs and lockers and they told me they didn't sell accesories individually. Probably needs a few phone calls but I can't be arsed.
>>6286629
about three fiddy
jk. I don't know shit about valuing, but it seems you could get about $125 easily, so probably the lot is worth a bit more. Although I see some customs there like the City strike Snake Eyes, that doesn't seem to be it's original head.
>>6269753
for me the Space one is the real stuff, I will spend a lot of my money on it, hope we will see it in end 2018-beginning 2019, I'm in love with those concepts
>>6288347
Space wave does look like it's gonna be wild.
>>dat cheeky Action Force Kraken refference
>>Squid pirate
>>Ming the Merciless
>>Rocket girls, that one with the knee high boots
>>Insectoid heads
>>Reptile girls
>>Space Pirates
>>6288347
The teal ones remind me of the old adventure people.
>>6288347
I definitely want some rocket and robot girls but the robot ...guys(?) do nothing for me and a lot of the colors are bleh IMO.
>>6288365
dont forget the space pussy and the fembots.
A space gorgon would be nice to see, I miss a male and female alien "grey" looking characters... I dot know if anons here prefer the fantasy one but for me I hope the space series will last a lot of time and we will get more cool looking aliens and monsters, little vehicles would be perfect but I supose this is too much for BFS
also I miss a minotaur in the greek series...
>>6286629
Which Duke is that??
>>6289783
Desert Battle from Pursuit of Cobra
So are their any more lines similar to ARW in this scale, like with softer plastics and more handpainted feel?
>>6289806
Naw.
>>6289770
>also I miss a minotaur in the greek series...
THIS is a good call and probably would make me like the Greek line a lot more. Minotaurs, etc. There's tons of mythological creatures they skipped.
>>6290207
They could probably go back and add in more to the Greek line down the road. They kinda barebonesed it there to keep tooling costs down to start. They were basically shooting for colourways of 2-4 bucks with the entire project.
>>6290406
the rat people is something I find very interesting and gives you lots opportunities (tmnt related characters, mutants, alien creatures, wererats (yes, they exist in fantasy setings) the medusa like armor on a black wererat blank and the saw hand or crustacean trident can make a nice mutant or alien pit gladiator... rat people are great but it miss to not have south american warrior clothes (mayan) for the capibara the problem here is no Minotaurs in Greek series 1 and no werewolfs in series 2, at least we will have male and female Lizardmen in series 3 (Reptron)
The Gorgons are amazing, all the colors but I need more monsters, yes, they don't have money for lots of molds but to be honest with the quality of the stuff they did I need more and more and a Minotaur or werewolf is just only a head, feet and tail (claws if you want to make the werewolf) you can even use the knight body with a werewolf head and do a knight order made by cursed werewolf knights...
>>6290769
>cursed werewolf knights
Holy shit that would be awesome
>>6291246
Agree
>>6291246
Well, at least the blind bags will be good on giving people Illithid parts.
>>6291246
There was a line of werewolf figures that had one of those. The idea is a sound one.
The Cobra Temple I commissioned was just finished. It hasn't shipped to me yet, but here's pics.
>>6292538
What's he make them out of?
>>6292605
I think the bunkers on the sides are made out of foam coolers that he cut up. He sculpted the Cobra symbol I think. And the rest is made out of diffefent sheets of foam.
>>6292628
Huh, cool. I was thinking it was foam, but the paint job is pretty good and threw me.
I have a question for boss fighters, do you guys tried to put male arms and legs on a female torso? it is possible? someone have an image of it?
>>6293239
>it is possible?
No. The peg and holes have different sizes.
>>6293298
ok, the arm peg is bigger, I can find logical but the legs are not compatible too? you cant make a extra muscled legged female?
>>6293298
also I supose you can put female head in male torso and male head in female torso, same hole, right?
you can put a gorgon head on a male, same size peg holes, right?
>>6292628
Foam seems not very durable or strong for a dio, am I wrong in thinking this?
>>6293607
It's pretty standard,
ditto foamcore with once side peeled off or foam insulation.
>>6293996
>>6293996
now I'm comfused, how this images can be possible?
>>6293607
Foam insulation is very sturdy and looks the best when cut up and painted for dio construction.
>>6294140
>>6294142
>>6294146
Sorry, seems like I badly worded it. Let me try again with the help of a pic.
Circled in green you can see some pegs that can't be swapped between male and female, male ones are bigger. If you try to put a female hand in the male arm it ll simply drop from the large hole.
In red circle there is a different problem. Male neck is bigger, too big for the female head to go all the way to "pop" in.
My guess is that Robot uses a larger male head and comes with 2 two-balled peg (those aren't compatible neither and not shown in the pic).
For the hands I've no idea how could have worked around it besides making 4 of them.
>>6294220
Aaaaand of course I forgot pic.
>>6294256
You welcome.
Yes that will work. To make it work the other way around you need to thin down the male neck.
>>6295162
Where do you got the camel?
>>6295174
That's a World Peacekeepers camel.
>>6295162
That Helmet is the GOAT of all time
Really happy how she turned out.
Head: Marauder pony tail sanded down to fit the MArvel Legends 4inch Gamora.
Body: Marauder Task Force Valkyrie
Lower legs and boots: RoC Agent Helix.
Don't know if it's everywhere, but wal-mart had these Marvel Legends figs on clearance for $5.00. Ulik isn't bad, there don't seem to be that many 1:18 figures as bulky as him. Articulation is good, but the hip joint is set at a diagonal which makes for somewhat tedious leg posing.
Don't care for the closed fists and brass knuckle things either. A weapon hole would be nice. Might try making a leather armor kilt and better harness; the one he's got is glued together.
>>6296411
Great job.
Now We only need some Marauder male T-shirts.
>>6298136
yeah this guy is built on the Abomination body which came out before the series went to total shit. He's decent, if a bit limited. Personally I love the fists and knuckledusters, but that's different strokes.
soooo...
In may we will have the animal kingdom kickstarter, in July the gun runer marauder (with the dog and the exoesqueleton) and at the same month the Zombielab one... sounds like an entretained summer to me, hope we will have cool things and hope this time the animal kingdom one works, they are perfect for alien creatures (also they will have removable clothes) I also expect clothes from the zombielab ones
>>6299006
I'm only excited about the zombies and Marauders, I need notDarryl and the school girl.
Damn, they hiked the prices on the Vitruvians by $3. They are $24.99 now.
I finally pulled the trigger on some figures last week when they were still $21.99 and had the spartan back on the menu. I ordered a white skelly, amazon commander, Spartan and Achilles.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but was there another figure called "Leonidas" apart from the "Spartan"?
Been itching for a Hulk what's the best 3.75" Hulk for the Joes/Cobra to fight? I narrowed down to pic related.
I actually bought number 1 for a nephew a while back and I thought it was OK but didn't like the head and facial expression. Number 2 looks alright but seems articulation is somewhat limited and it has both closed fists, it does not bother me as much but if it had a grabbing hand or something it would be near perfect.
Maybe I can use a 6in that works as well too as some sort of super mutant Hulk.
Opinions?
>>6300839
here's your grasping hand
>>6300877
>$7.75 for a hand
Have the jews gone too far?
>>6300900
Considering the time and materials needed to cast them.
And his stuff is pretty fucking good.
>>6300839
I think a 6in may work better as a hulking Hulk. Im looking for one myself.
>>6300914
Like what? do you have it narrowed down? There's too many versions, I definetly not want the Ultron one with the modern pants, I know that much.
>>6300817
>Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but was there another figure called "Leonidas" apart from the "Spartan"?
Yes, he was part of the original 3 waves. He's a spartan with a different headsculpt and some different accessories (like a helmet etc). He's out of production now .
>>6300817
Nevermind, they DID have a Leonidas.

>>6300839

>>6300877
Fuck vortious. That asshole will take your money and you wont see shit. Dont fucking do business with him. He is just as bad as alyosha aka broken arrow toys. Raginspoon and AVAC are legit casters though. Never had issues with them.
It's me or the price of the Boss Fight Studio Blanks increased A LOT?
>>6301172
really anon? more people talk about him in a postitive light than they do of alyosha. Even tofujesse has a worse rap. AVAC is cool as fuck though, he is always willing to do something new.
>>6301238
ok they did it, not only blanks but also clothes, they really fucked up really badly... sad
>>6301238
Yeah they raised the price of everything by a few dollars it's pretty sad considering 21 dollars for one of their characters was pushing it for me
>>6301172
Ive ordered from him a lot and had no issues.
>>6278665
I like that the torso isn't as broad as the original but I'm not sold on the face

>>6301027

>>6301172
Wow.
Never had a problem with him at all. If stuff was going to be late he woudl usually email me right after I made an order.
Broken Arrow and tofujesse? Thow they are bad.The best thing I can at least say for Broken Arrow is I finally got the stuff I ordered. It took over a year and a half though.
tofujesse fuck that guy and his excuses.
>>6300839
Big Guy 4u Hulk
Could it be BFS is raising prices for the 2nd wave already?
It was supposed they would eventually, since 2nd wave comes with more accesories.
>>6301933
Yeah, It's a good posibility but also is probable that producing in China has increased on price.
>>6301933
main problem is the blanks, the price increase is criminal for what it is, sadly this happens before the blanks minikits...
>>6301172
I ordered from him once from ye olde yuro. Price &quality is good, but I felt buttblasted as the shipping was like two times more than the items I ordered..
Also it took him 6 months to fullfil order, but he keep everyone up to date on his FB page..
Besides that, he sounds like an ok guy.
>>6278665
FUCK YES
For some reason I missed these updates:
Eagle Force prototypes
>>6303601
The New line? Wave?
>>6303604
And Larry Hamma prototype
>>6303604
Damn, I want the Point Break Tricky Dick, but that wave seems largely redundant to the Zombie Lab KickStarter stuff.
>>6303601
I'm going to have to pick some of these up in the future. Oh yes.
Fresh.
>>6305676
Gotta say this, the knee design on Spiderman is really ugly and it doesn't help that the bubble is warping his left leg sideways.
>>6305676
I forgot about this, I need that vulture for my Cobras.
Quick size comparison.
He's not a bad representation of SpiderHolland and it's like the first MCU figure since...Thor1? Avengers1? to feature a torso joint. SpiderGarfield is still hard to replace though, he has that fantastic textured suit-detail, wrist joints, bicep and thigh swivels.
>>6305680
>>6305680
Vulture's upper half is stiff like the other MCU 3.75 figures. Thankfully, the recent MCU stuff have good articulation in the legs and his robo-talons really benefit from that. And heck yeah, the costume itself easily blends into Cobra troops.
He reminds me of that POC Skydive that i've always regretted passing on.
>>6305692
The body proportions are better at least. He looks a tad too young with that big head, but it's way better than the Garfield one. That one has great articulation, sure, but it also has mile-long legs and a pinhead.
>>6305676
Nice find. TRU?
>>6305782
Local shop parallel-imported it early. I can't trust Hasbro Singapore to bring it in. They skipped all the 3.75" releases from the later half of 2016.
>The lads before a raid on Agrabah, to capture once-CIA asset-turned-warlord known only as "The Sultan".
I just got the Eaglehawk last week together with a Dollar general trooper and also a jungle Duke from another source.
10/10 would recommend it.
>>6305782
Target already has them on the pegs after reset
>>6302003
>>6302043
BFS has always been greedy hypocrites. They argue how the American workforce deserves $15 an hour minimum wage, but they would never make their toys in America because it already costs too much rather than get some Chinese factory slave to do it for $1 a day. They also argue that Trump was going to raise their costs the moment he was in office putting them out of business (he didn't, they were just fear mongering whiny liberals as always). Fuck them.
This was already the second price hike in the last 12 months. Bucky O'Hare will be over $30 for preorder and when they stock the store the prices will be even higher.
What're my options for 1:18 horses?

>With the temporary detour in Ancient Greece at an end, we left to chase the source of the chronal fractures in another time period. >>6307254
I just realized that you get way more accessories with your figures than you do than with Mythic Legions.
All without waiting two years to get what you ordered.
>>6307339
Yeah, fair enough, but there is only one knight, and the designs don't seem as nice. I wish Boss Fight went all out with this first wave like they did with the Greek stuff.
>>6307411
>the designs don't seem as nice
This
He doesn't have to be historical, it is fantasy after all, but that design really isn't too great.
>>6307411
I'd agree, but when i look at my MyL figures, there really is no difference apart from the paint.
Boss Fight just goes with plastic coloring mostly, while 4H has a bunch of different decos that makes the armor pop out better and gives you the impression there's more.
So i do agree that they should have gone all out like they did with the Spartans, but I'm sure they will with later waves. So we may end up getting more redecos than MyL does and sooner too.
>>6307339
Eeeeeummmm... no extra pair of hands for the knight?
ok...
>>6307606
They're just not pictured.
>>6307622
they should fix the final product photo, now we dont know if the hextra hands are included or get discarded in the prototype, no way to know for sure
>>6307630
