Rooughcut. Doublebreach blows. Glorified 2-shot blaster.

Then in the fall, buy the Twinshock.
>>
>>6264403
Twinshock has pretty much no advantage over the Rotofury- smart AR arranged like that means subsequent shots will grow weaker. Same ammo capacity too.

On MEGA blasters, the Centurion is fun as fuck. Silly, but fun.

I'm >>6262293 and I got mine new for $25-$30 because of a sale and the box was damaged.
Also just got home from a game of HvZ and I still regret it. The belt it has instead of a pusher feeds third party darts wrong sometimes and jams.
SO even when it does feed right it goes through darts too fast and still fucks you.
Don't get a hyperfire anon.

The dude who lived the longest was using a rayven I ripped the jam door off of. Dude would slap darts in like crazy between zombie respawns and stayed alive at the end for two minutes by himself against 8 dudes rushing him every 10 seconds. He outran everyone else and nobody knew he was under a staircase except those guys.

Is there a dart gun shotgun that loads like a regular double barrel?
I have a thing for shotguns.
Also, anybody like the old orange longshot thing?
It's been sitting on my shelf forever and I'm trying to clear stuff out. Has anyone here sold nerf guns that size before, because finding a box and covering shipping seems like it'd be silly.

Wonder if my sister wants to get rid of her gatling gun, come to think of it. Me and her loved having nerf wars throughout the house but that hasn't been a thing for five years.

Drop some science on me, anon: Is the Recon Mk2 (blaster & mag only) worth $4?
>>
>>6268132
So it's only missing the stock that it came with?

For $4, I don't see why not.
>>
>>6268132
I don't see how it's NOT worth it, unless you live in a cardboard box.

Even then, you still gotta be able to defend yourself from zambies.
>>
>>6268132
It's a $20 blaster for less than a fourth the price. The stock and barrel are just impractical hunks of plastic anyway.
Yes, the blaster + mag judging by retail value is a steal. I can't speak to the quality of the blaster itself though except that early versions don't work with curved, 18, or 25 round magazines.

However

If you already have blasters out the asshole it's only as valuable as it is useful unless you can flip it for more money.

I won a bet with my brother (and his barrel break) when I was able to make it fire 60 feet.

Remove the air restrictor, lube it properly, check the o-rings to make sure the seal is good, and compress the spring (i used a whole bunch of wraps of electrical tape trimmed to size)

Still a shitty blaster, tho it was pretty fun to play with after the upgrades.

>tfw hasbro will never produce a decent breach-loading shotgun

The barrel break was that one blaster I wanted to love so badly because the gimmick was corny as fuck, but the performance was just so godawful.

And then I fell for the sledgefire and barely used it because it was a huge pile of shit unless you spent a fortune on shells and it wasn't even satisfying to just toy around with because it only got 3 shots before you had to reload the shells or cycle through blanks.

I would drop dosh if they made a blaster that functioned like an actual shotgun with shells and spread instead of front-loaders and single-shot pumps.
>>
>>6269783
Sledgefire is based as fuck if you single it properly. It can hit incredibly hard, and it's much easier pulling from a pocket of darts that fumbling around with shells.

Do they all have to be the same blaster, like a 4vs4 or something? If so, then Strongarm or Disruptor. I think they're phasing out the Strongarms for the Disruptors, but they're more or less the same.

You could also go for the Retaliator or Recon MKII for the tacticool, but if you don't have the accessories, then it's not very tacticool with just one mag that you have to keep reloading, so stick with front-loaders.

Stryfe masterrace is also cool. But then batteries and mag. But now you can spend the extra cash on more mags.

You can also go esoteric and get Flipfurys, which is just a double Strongarm. It's a little silly, but if everyone is armed with just one blaster, the a Flipfury would outgun a Strongarm in ammo capacity.

Target is having a promo of spending $50 and saving $10 (or $10 giftcard, I forget which). So buy 4, save $10, then buy another 4, save another $10, then PayPal me the savings to my account. Win/win for everybody!
>>
>>6278815
It might be a meme, but the Hammershot is still a fine choice if you dual wield.
>>
>>6278759
4 Rough Cuts. 4 EATs.
>>
>>6279066
Dual welding is for edginess. You'd have better aim and faster firing with two hands on a blaster. A Flipfury would offer more ammo and slamfire. At least as far as mains go. As a secondary, it's better since it's smaller.

What is the coolest rifle to hold and play with?

I have absolutely no friends to shoot, or parks to go to, so performance is irrelevant, just want a sweet feeling rifle to customize.

I am also 5'7" at 25, so i don't know about the mega centurion being unwieldy for me.

I visually like the alphahawk, but i hear it is almost broken on unboxing and not worth firing, so is it even worth my interest? The modulus ecs 10 and zombie strike longshot looks cool too, stryfe is too small stock, and i refuse to damage my rayven.

The halo guns are cool, but i hate the boomco clip placement and that drum fed one looks really weird.

Gonna second the Rapidstrike. Looks awesome and feels great in-hand! Plus you get all those rails for options. Been having a blast shooting it everyday.

I was also wishing it used AA batteries, but I was able to buy a 12-pack of C batteries off Amazon for just $8. It's gone up to $11 now, but that's still pretty darn cheap. I used the SIM Supply seller here:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B00GNNCXB2

These batteries are great, btw. I tested them out when they arrived (only took two-days, so the seller is great too) and they make the fly-wheel motors really fly. The rev up speed and RPM was WAY higher than the Walmart generics I'd been using. There's also C-sized spacers that allow you to use AA batteries instead, so that's another option you could go for (though I don't know how effective it is).

I also think the Slingfire is a lot of fun because of the lever-action priming. There's a couple trick ways to prime the blaster (spinning it around your finger, one-handed priming etc.) which makes each shot feel fun and rewarding. Downside is that working the lever starts to make your hand/finger sore after a while. Would go nicely with your Doublestrike though, especially if you're gonna customize it!

>AA to C spacers
Kinda spotty. I used AA to D spacers in my Stampede (my personal pick due to the *GREEE THOK* pew pew noise) before lipo. Regular Alkaline AAs absolutely struggle to power the single 360 sized motor. Good luck getting enough current out of those to power three 130 motors. You could spring for a parallel adapter, giving you more current and run time, but that's more batteries. Rechargeable NiMH AAs on the other hand, they have the current to match a C or D cell with a single cell and are much lighter.
As a side note, I wouldn't recommended using Serial spacers for a voltage boost. At least in the case of the Stampede, higher loads needs more current than the NiMH batteries can provide, so the voltage sags and the motor slows down while compressing the spring. Then at the end of the cycle where the main gear disengaged the plunger tube, it's free of load, spinning faster and probably causing a gear crash.
>>
>>6283336
>Rechargeable NiMH AAs on the other hand, they have the current to match a C or D cell with a single cell
Not in my experience. Tried several different NiMH AA's and none of them can operate a Rapidstrike. I thought my Rapidstrike was broken til I tried regular old alkaline C's and it cycled perfectly. So either stick with C's or go lipo.

But if you want to give AA's a go, you don't even need spacers. Friction fit will hold the AA's in place inside the battery tray to let you play around with it. Else, you can make your own spacers by wrapping the AA's in something like corrugated cardboard and taping the cylinder wrap closed. Ghetto but free and easy.

I've started pulling molds for the parts I have printed, finals will be coldcast.

Also, my proff is insisting I machine that piece out of solid aluminum so the rifling is probably not going to be in the final.

What fan made alternatives are there to the longstrike barrel? I was considering putting a modulus barrel extender and recon barrel on a longstrike, but a longstrike barrel is just, prettier, yet it's more pricey than a longshot!

Also need a replacement for the bipod grip part for a longshot, zambey stok doesn't have that part.

>solid aluminum when the students pay for the materials themselves
Wew
>no faux rifling
This is good. Also, Aluminum is more slippery to our darts than even the brass we use for our sealed breeches, so this too is good news.
>>
>>6283772

I'm probably replacing the printed tubing with ether aluminum or brass, but the hun may take post-class work to get it to fire properly.

This teacher is proving to be not very good? As a teacher? For my project he also wants me to use real gold leaf and block molds, even though he has no experience with block molding thin-walled shapes OR gold leafing. He wants another student to pay $800 to get his piece photoetched, and he's restarted yet another student's project every week due to personal aesthetics. He also has completely different requirements for different students (ie, the other student working on a blaster is only partially reshelling an existing blaster, but he's not required to machine parts. Meanwhile I had to engineer a gun from the ground up and I 'won't pass' unless I add an aluminum part.) Hopefully he'll be gone next semester.

Since I only have one course left next semester I want to see if I can design a rifle or shotgun or something.
>>
>>6283785
What school/country is this? It sounds completely bogus, like some kind of coding boot camp or something.
>>
>>6284901
In the US, it's actually a great program but the overall excellence exagerates the hiccups. I was given the training I needed to reverseengineer, model, and manufacture my own blaster to a degree that I can argue over aesthetic details after all.

On a related note one of my proffs has informed me that apparently it's possible to mix two Smooth-on silicones to make an exactly clone for NERF's foam. I gotta test it but I'll get back to you guys when I have the results. It might be possible to cast custom munition in shapes besides the traditional darts.

>>
>>6283353
According to Captain Xavier's IMR powered Stampede, it looks like the single 360 motor uses less current than multiple 130 motors, hence his not being in a rush to upgrade to a Lipo, so that could explain the differences.
>>
>>6281619
I like it. The only criticism I have, though, is the black parts under the blaster. It kinda looks like there's two different textures slapped on to one model.
>>
Too bad these mags aren't compatible with Nerf. I dig their shape, their color, and the transparency is on the FUNCTIONAL side for righties. I never understood why Nerf made their mags transparent on the right side where 90% of shooters can't see inside for ammo counts.
>>
>>6285053
If you can dpo that, make the barrels tighter and give us rifled projectiles, they might exceed the accuracy of accustrike to shoot foam springs that fit perfectly in the barrels.

A pack that would give us dart jackets or sleeves to make a nerf dart rifled would be a good alternative.
>>
>>6288067
This

Absolutely why?
I guess they just always hated fun, hence why they made almost all their nstrike blasters reverse plunger
>>
>>6288307
It might have to wait til the fall semester but I want to try it.
>>
>>6288067
>>6289121
It's cause the right side is the display side. It gets the finished paint, the transparent parts, lack of screw holes (since it's on the left for every blaster except the Firefly), and thus clear mags.
>>
>>6288307
Sounds like a waste of time. You aren't going to impart enough rotation on a foam dart from rifling to make a world of difference in trajectory. A tighter barrel wold only slow down the dart unless you have enough propellant to push the dart the whole length of the barrel. This is why that meme about barrel extensions hurting performance is true. If you want rifled rounds, you're going to need a different type of propulsion system. Canted flywheels are a start as seem to be the best way to do it so far.

>>6289471
>form over function
This is why Nerf will never be number one.
>>
>>6289884
Hey, if he can make a better dart by a spinning coil of foam dart with a head like the accustrike, i am all for it, if not, he knows how to make curly darts that look cool. The main thing would be figuring out the rifling so it minimizes friction while giving it that vital twost for accuracy.

I like it. It's great for shooting MEGA darts, and even better if you rebarrel the cylinders to fit elite darts. Plus, it's a nice fit for my manly hands.
>>
>>6292474
Use the recon modulus stock, see how that stock is full of empty spaces but not quite hollow? Put wood in those gaps so the shape is filled in with wood.
>>
So what is the benefit to different flywheel cages when modding a stryfe? Or different flywheels? Can it be a significant reduction to noise, or an increase to achievable fps? I've got a stryfe with a 3s LiPo and two rhinos, and I'm not sure if I should switch from the stock cage and wheels
>>
>>6292949
But for what purpose
>>
>>6292949
Oh, he's talking about filling the gaps with wood for muh aesthetics, I suppose. Nobody is going to sell that. That's too much wood carving work for too little profit. Nowadays, people are more likely to 3D print the parts, and even then it's too much printing for again too little profit. If they were going to 3D print the filler parts, they could better spend their time and material to print an entirely NEW stock with the closed aesthetics.

But if you're hellbent on customizing your Recon stock, a better option would be to just layer it with auto filler like Bondo. Way cheaper, way easier (once you know how to work Bondo).

>>6293016
Canted flywheels can add spin to a dart which could help stabilize the dart. But the risk is that too much spin will have the opposite effect.

Standard flywheels are just straight cylinders. Fancy flywheels are either textured, concave, use different materials or whatever to grip the dart better. Less slippage means you can spin the motors faster for more pew pew.

I don't know how much noise reduction they'll give, if any. Performance gains might not even be consistent. Once you go pass simply juicing up the stock motors, you're a bit in experimental territory, so you just have to see what your combination of flywheel mods gives you.
>>
>>6293016
Cages can increase crush, or how tightly it squeezes the dart, by reducing the flywheel gap. This leads to better energy transfer to the dart.
Better balanced flywheels, usually aluminum machined, reduce vibrations and lead to less noise.

What shotguns can you guys think of outside Nerf's lineup?
Not the obvious like the buzz bee double blast but stuff like the lanard triple blast or a modded Baron.

Speaking of the Baron, I got a dude saying he wanted to fuck his Barrel Strike by gutting the smart AR and adding a better spring. Do they have the same kind of screw for the plunger head that newer jolts have now?
I don't think he could actually get it working like a shotgun. Input?

>shotguns can you guys think of outside Nerf's lineup
There's the upcoming Rail Blaster. Not a shotgun per se, but it has the look. >>>6269911

No idea about the internals of a Barrel Strike, but I suppose it'd be possible to get it to fire all 4 darts with poor range. If you gut it in the most simplest way, you may have to keep all 4 darts in it or else the air will just escape through the empty barrel(s). But if you can mod the smart AR to allow air to travel to all the barrels while will keeping the individual dart AR's so they can shut off air in the empty barrels, then that'd be really cool.

All conjecture, of course. I only took apart my Roughcut to study the smart AR system years ago, and that was it. You couldn't really powerup the Roughtcut without strengthening the gear system because the teeth on the plastic gears would eventually strip under a more powerful spring.

>>
>>6299240
No, happens to everybody with everything. You start off young, all the time in the world to tinker. Then you get old, your time becomes valuable, so now you just want things to "just werk". Same thing with computers for me. Used to hot rod my computers, custom to the max. Now I just want everything to just werk and not figure out why this config file worked yesterday but not today. The only mods I do on my blasters is mostly aesthetics and mnor performance boosts. I used to (and sometimes) play paintball and airsoft and it is the most fucking frustrating thing to have a gun not work while you're on the field. It's why I used to bring several guns to the field FOR ME because when one gun goes down, I don't want to sit out the next game or more troubleshooting. Just grab the next working gun and go.
>>
>>6299439

Fair and true. It's an immensely satisfying feeling going into an event knowing, "I'm going to use this blaster, and it's going to work every time without fail. Everyone else is going to have a blaster that is exactly equal with the person to the right, and no one is going to be able to complain about performance." I've not felt like this in literally more than a year and it's finally as stress free as something like Nerf SHOULD be.

Still think I was genuinely cursed by the bad juju I gave off but putting all that misplaced effort into something like Nerf. Literally every single war something went wrong. It's a fun thought anyway.

It performs exactly like a Strongarm, with slam fire and everything. There's just no cylinder pop-out gimmick so it's a little quicker to reload, but maybe a little less fun depending on how you like things.

If you've got a Strongarm and are happy with it, there's no reason to get a Disruptor. But if you don't and you want a pistol with slam fire, then it's a great choice.

I really like the Disruptor myself, I think it looks a bit cooler than the Strongarm and I like being able to front load.
>>
>>6307340

I've accumulated 5 strong arms just from hosting wars for the last several years and people leaving things at my place. Tested them yesterday (some of these just saw use like, 3 months ago) and 2 of them don't rotate when they fire anymore. The 3 that still work fire a dud every now and again regardless of dart quality.

I think there are batches of lemon blasters that leak by hasbro sometimes because I've seen people with 100% reliable strong arms that are as old as the ones I have

That being said, I may pick up some disruptors

Maybe i'm just a minimalist but it seems awful big unless the Rapidstrikes and Roughcut are loaners, which is kinda clever. I usually just bring quirky bullshit to loan.

Shit, the thought of having two rapidstrike bros running defense for a hyperfire friend carrying a backpack full of mags to feed his rapidstrike babbies is kinda cool.

Speaking of Stryfes, I told myself I wouldn't buy one. I didn't need it, and more importantly I didn't really like the orange color scheme of the current version.

Well, had the chance to grab one for about 10 bucks and I couldn't resist. Digging the orange now that I've got one in hand, and the scheme works perfectly with the proximity barrel attachment along with the First Order Stormtrooper stock (though I've ordered a cheap Recon Mk II stock which I think might fit a bit better).

My first time firing a semi-auto flywheel, and I like it! Feels quite different from my Rapidstrike, more tactile. I am a tiny bit disappointed with the performance, though. I've got a very long hallway I can plink down, and the Stryfe's shots droop the fastest out of all my blasters (even with no barrel attachment). I am using new AAs, but they're just regular plain Duracells, so I wonder if that's why.

That being said, the Strfye has the most consistent groupings out of all my blasters by far,. Very impressed with that, and it's fun shooting out darts as fast as you can pull the trigger (even though that kills the range, haha).

Guess I just gotta get into modding to beef it up!

You're holding the Stryfe upside down. Hold it the right way and it'll outshoot everything.

Darts don't matter in a resell unless you're just a megajew. It all depends on how fast you want to sell your blasters since you can't expect to sell everything for retail.
Only stuff worth much are the roughcut, stryfe, and centurion. Spectre too if you have all the parts.

Send pics.

$10. Terrible gun.

Only my personal pricing, assuming excellent condition. You can also just check ebay for what everyone else is selling them for. Another issue is shipping. It's probably going to cost $5-10 to ship, so that kills any profit for you if you offer free shipping, and if the buyer pays shipping, they might as well buy new. Something local like Craigslist is more suitable for cheap stuff that's not cheap to ship.

So I just bought a house and today I had the sudden realization that my backyard would be perfect for small scale capture the flag games. The only thing it's really missing is cover for people to hide behind as they move across the field. So anyone have any advice on how to make quick, easy to move and especially cheap barricades and cover?

Having just bought the place, I'm limited on lawn furniture but should be able to get a decent amount of cardboard in a few weeks when we finally unpack everything. But other then that, I got nothin. Maybe down the road I'll make some actual little structures, but for now something simple would be best.

Boxes and tents are a popular option.
The stock is too short. Doesn't even telescope. Performance isn't bad if you have the donor Tek* blasters for the springs. Just twist the old spring out of the end cap, twist in the new one, and don't dryfire it.

It is a rad looking stock, but as >>6321840 says it's super short. Was hoping the Recon stock would be a little longer but it's exactly the same length. They both look rad though, and that's what's most important, haha.

Definitely hear you on the licensing tax; the original MSRP for the Stormtrooper blaster is nuts. I only impulse bought it as my first Nerf blaster in decades because it was on sale for ~$15 or so. Under powered as it is, it got me interested in Nerf all over again!

Just run the roughcut with a few spare darts. Pick up what you can to top off.

The sledgefire is gimmicky shit in its stock form. The roughcut has better rate of fire, range, and reload speed.

Also get a sling for it so you don't have to carry it all the time and make sock bombs with duct tape if they're allowed.
Bring like two to four and you'll be fine against anything except maybe blowguns if you play smart.
>>
>>6330860
Herp derp, misread slingfire as sledgefire.

You still want to rock sock bombs and the roughcut, but the slingfire may be decent if you can get two or three 12 or 18 round mags for it. Unfortunately with its slower rate of fire the most you should expect from it is harassing dudes while hiding your ass behind something as support. Suppression, you know? Also you're shit out of luck if your mags run out mid game, which is why I recommend the the roughcut. Outside of lucky shots at range, whenever you get ambushed somebody will get out within two shots unless they run off.

Still, get some slings to hold your shit and maybe a bag to hold the mags/socks/roughcut depending on what you decide.

Drum mags are kinda gimmicky. You're be better off with the 18-round mags, or if you're gong Chinese, those 22-round mags. Easier to carry around extras and less change of jam. Drum mags are what you use for the cool factor.

>>6333897
He's right you know.

The drum mags are much larger and don't store as well as similar stick mags. They also have spring problems. The 35 drum for instance sometimes needs lube if it's been abused and the springs on them deteriorate fast.

Four 18 stick mags take up the same space as a 36 drum because the rotation shit for the drums takes up a lot of space.

Pro-Tip: Just tape two 18-mags (or whatever you feel like using) together so the spare is facing down. Reload the spare mag with darts off the ground, flip when the mag being used is empty, repeat step one.
>>
>>6333955
I personally just want a few more 20rd drums because they dont stick downwards as much. that's all
>>
>>6333955
Only time that 35 drum is warranted is when reloading or swapping mags is absolutely physically impossible and its the highest capacity mag you have for the mag blaster you're apparently being forced to use by a spiteful god. Say someone literally cut off your arm at the shoulder. That's when it would be more useful than two 12 mags taped together.
>>
>>6333980
If you have to use one blaster and can't reload, you might as well go 40-rnd Pyragon, 40-rnd Khaos, or 100-rnd Nemesis. Ammo type doesn't matter when you can't reload.

Khaos and nemesis are the only one-handed blasters you mentioned and they're rival. Of course they're straight upgrades but I meant for something like a shield loadout. On that matter some whimpy games may ban rival blasters. Can't think any rules would ever ban reloading though.

Basically you'd need to be crippled or have your arm tied to a fucking barn door as a shield with game rules actively working to fuck you over for the 35 drum to be the best option.

Legit tho. A nemesis + shield sounds scary.

Hammershot for one handed operation (The Negotiator is its higher capacity, larger, much much fuglier spiritual successor. Would not recommend)
Strongarm for out of box performance (The Disruptor is its open front spinoff)
Maverick for looks
in that order of preference.

hello!
im pretty new to the idea of modding nerf guns, but ive recently obtained a centurion and want to pimp it out.
this is my brainstorm document.
please note that the point is mostly to make it look cool and less for use in actual nerf wars.
overall its ended up with kind of a borderlands look in my head.
what do you think?
also, questions:
do they make larger mega clips? if not, is there anyone online who does?
what would you recommend for a better bipod? the one that came with the centurion is a piece of shit that always falls off.
are there any cheap scopes that would work well for this project? id like to use a real one, but they all cost too much. (on account of being real gun parts.)

BuzzBee makes a mag-fed !MEGA blaster with a larger mag. It's the only other MEGA mag I know of other than the Centurion one. Wouldn't surprise me if some Chinese company makes one too, but that's just a guess.

>what would you recommend for a better bipod?
There's the Modulus bipod. I can't say if it's better or not. All Nerf rail attachments are designed to break away instead of breaking.

>are there any cheap scopes that would work well for this project? id like to use a real one, but they all cost too much. (on account of being real gun parts.)
If you can't afford $50 for a 3-9x scope plus attachment doohickeys, then just stick with the Nerf Modulus scope.

Also, if you're intent on painting the whole thing, forget the orange tip. It'll look retarded and won't save you from the popo. If you absolutely must have it (public game rules or something) then just wrap orange tape around the tip and be done with it.
>>
>>6336715
alrighty. i already have the modulus scope, so i guess ill go with that.
the orange tip was recommended by a /k/ friend of mine but if it wont do shit then ill leave it off.
im mostly just worried ill get campus security called on me for wandering around with a sniper rifle if i dont make it obvious its a toy. (like the funky skull designs im planning wont do that already)
thanks for the parts advice!

Up to you, but look at this """thing""""
Hammershot isn't quite as good as the Strongarm/Disruptor out of box. It has one less shot and shoots a little under the Elite average of 70 feet per second. It's aftermarket mod scene is superior, however.
There are custom cylinders that increase the capacity to 8 darts, another cylinder that holds 7, but is more foolish breakage resistant, and still another that instead holds 7 brass tubing sections to allow for a more complete air seal with the foam dart.
It also takes spring upgrades well, an upgrade that usually breaks the Strongarm/Disruptor. You can buy an upgrade spring or make a spacer to precompress the stock spring for free.
>>
>>6336768
Not him, but I think if you search for Dovetail sights, you'll find plenty of productd with reviews saying it fits their Nerf blasters.
>>
>>6336768
Police won't care whether it has an orange tip or not. They'll go through the full safety protocols where they'll tell you put the weapon on the ground, hands on your head, lie on the ground, etc... and shoot you if you do anything otherwise ("No, it's really a toy! Here, let me show you!"). Then they'll check out your weapon, confirm it's a toy, then give it back to you and tell you to be careful because someone called the police about some guy walking around with an AK47.

It'd be a little different if you kept the colors stock, so the orange tip goes with everything else orange on the toy. But you're painting it dark, camoed or whatever. Personally, I wouldn't even walk around with it out unless there was an active game going on. I'd carry it in a gun bag, a gym bag or whatever far away from prying eyes because there are far too many people who can't tell the difference between a toy and a gun. A simple bag would save you from far more trouble than an orange tip would.
>>
>>6336770
Yeah I aint touching that fucker. Do you know where one could find these custom cylinders? They sound very interesting indeed. And is the spring upgrade something you do instead of compressing the existing spring, or something you do in conjunction?

>>
>>6337723

They're cheap, like 200 for $15 shipped, and they have excellent groupings. Triads still hammer them out at a good FPS despite them being a heavier dart.

This guy is right. Bring sock bombs too if allowed. If you can dodge shit, sock ninjas are the scariest and most practical fuckers in the game.
Also frontloaders are bae.

I love my double-strike, though I honestly have two issues with it. First being that the barrels are slightly too short imo. They leave too much dart hanging out and I find they can snag or bend when in a pocket or holster way too easily. The other issue just may be on mine, but when I prime the hammer, if i pull it too far back then release it, a small push of air will end up inching the first dart forward just enough so it won't fire and usually falls out. Combined with the first issue and it can get frustrating to use one of my favorite blasters. Fixing either of these issues would be enough totake care of both problems imo.

first issue can be fixed by a barrel shroud
second one imo can be remedied by filling the slot to the appropriate amount
i am currently working on both and will keep you guys updated, ease of use is a priority down

I don't expect anti-gun people to know anything about guns. We have politicians who know nothing about guns and they're writing laws for them. So it's better to avoid confrontation altogether and everyone will have a nice day.

A bag is also nice because you can throw your other blasters, mags, ammo and accessories in there as well.

>>6337446
There's nothing like that AFAIK. The (barrel) size alone would wreck performance. Your best bet IMHO is to get a breech loader and slap a PVC barrel onto the end of it way larger than the dart diameter.

That's pretty awesome. I want one even though I've never dressed up as a pirate before. The new PotC movie is coming out though....

WHAT THE HELL

The new Regulator has a barrel attachment that doubles as a scope, but what that means is you can attach other nerf blasters to the barrel attachment, even if they didn't mean it. So basically you could link an infinite number of stock Regulators.
>>
>>6339212
You can get Modulus and just stick Grip blaster on every tactical rail. You would get at least 4 plus one on the stock gun.
>>
Anyone know where to get the bayonet kit?

Pic related has an attachment point too iirc

>using stock attachment points to attach bayonets
Those things are designed to snap off so they don't break the part or the blaster. Do what >>6341834 said.

>Using bayonets in a nerf war
Some games may have barrel tapping or straight up melee rules like larp swords. Don't get it stuck in your head that it's alright to flail hunks of plastic around like Darth Maul and shit dickfighting Liam Neeson. I had one retard cut me after he got out because he thought it'd be funny to boop me with his fucking grenade launcher. Sideswiped my goddamn knuckles and ripped the skin off cause he caught me with the inside of the barrel.

thinking of making a gunwall but dont want to spend much? try asking the commercial/lumber section of a lowes and ask an associate about "pegboards used for displays or demos" since most ive talked to told me that managers always use fresh pegboard then tuck it away once the display goes down. I got lucky and got a buck a piece. Only downside is that they're a little rough but nothing a light surface sand or maybe even paint couldnt fix

Nerf can be done on a budget and you can do more stupid fun mods like soldering 3 blasters together and firing off one trigger.

Accustrike darts aren't a meme. The blasters are mediocre, tho.
