If memory serves, Nichijou bombed big-time (a mix of high expectations and people boycotting KyoAni over BD prices), so that probably convinced GSC that the Haruhi/LS/K-On era of "anything with the KyoAni name will be a megahit" was over. How do you guys store your figures? I've been putting them back into blister packaging and then into their original box, but I'm not sure if that's potentially damaging given all the anecdotes about older figures being discolored or sticky from being in the packaging too long.

I only have a couple of Nendos, so I keep their spare parts in their boxes too. I've heard the stickiness is from the fumes plastic releases over time. If it can't evaporate and is left to build up inside the box, that's what causes the stickiness. So I open them up now and again to air them out. I should probably get one of those sewing kit boxes though.

Yes, Rico stands up via a magnet in her head. Which means she doesn't use the normal stands most nendos have. I can see why they did that, since her hair and cape would get in the way of a normal stand. But that makes it harder to put someone else's head on her body. So she's my least favorite of the 4, and I got her more to finish the set than anything else. I got her for 2k yen + shipping so it's bad.

The peg that goes into Eclairs back seems a little loose at times. But other than that, she's great. And the loose peg is easy enough to fix yourself. Just apply a little glue around the peg, and let it dry. Check the bufag.moe guide for a more detailed explanation.

My issues with them are fairly minor, and I don't regret getting them. So if you like the characters, then go for it. Nendoroids in general are well made. And while Millhi and Leo are more expensive, they come with so much more that it's worth the additional 1-1.5k yen.

We're not gonna get epic/legendary skins for anyone when it's a franchise that A) has a metric shitton of characters that they could be covering instead and B) already has plenty of palette swap skins for each character. Something like Witch Mercy or Slipstream Tracer would take the same amount of effort to make as a whole new character, so that effort would be much better invested in making a Nendo for one of the 20-something characters that don't have Nendos. We'll probably see some of the repaint skins as exclusives at events like WonFes and Blizzcon, though.

My oh Mai, look what just arrived today! She is absolutely adorable, and I like how they captured her bubbly personality with her face plates! Hell, even her ponytail is a ball swivel joint! The only drawback I have (so far) is that her fan tassels can fall out easily, so dab some Krazy glue in the hole and tell E-Support to go fuck themselves. I had some trouble with her bent legs fitting in the lower body socket, but I heard that a blow dryer (for 30 seconds) is a common cure. Overall, a 10/10 K.O. for Nendofags in my book!

My favorite sword-obsessed necromancer has arrived. Like Lin Setsu A, his nendo is as well-designed as his puppet. His cape can even come off, and his tassels & chains can be moved left and right.
