I stumbled upon this today and ordered one from an Australian store even though I live in the US, because this thing is just GONE and the aftermarket prices are nuts. Even with assrape shipping from Aus it's still a good deal. Can't wait to get him.

I held off because I wanted the classic punisher, but then they turned and only made 400 of those and put the preorder up without much actual notice at an odd time.

Total bummer. I never expected them to do that limited a run for that iconic of a look.

The regular release is easy to get. They Dx I think you already missed the boat on getting it for retail.
I actually recommend the regular release personally. I wanted the Dx really bad until I got and and it just feels like overkill. The sheer number of awesome accessories is definitely incredible but at the same time I feel the parts selection could have been way better

Heck, I only found about 6-7 booths that even had mezco one:12 figures, and most of them only had a few.

I go with my dad to cons like this and we are pretty big on collecting some old toy lines that we used to be able to find tons of crap for at cons like this, now we are lucky if we can find 3-4 items from those lines at an entire con.

The fact that common modern lines are hard to find is mind boggling.

I keep waiting for the bottom to fall out on pops, but it just won't. I really don't understand how people keep getting drawn to them. They are literally worthless landfill bait waiting to happen.

Honestly, they could have just put out this one with the white armor and black pants and it would have still sold. I'm not a fan of Thunderbolts Frank or the grey pants, but he's still an amazing figure.

I got Black Swordsman Guts for $35 and Berserker Armor Guts for $100, both new. I was gun-shy on pre-ordering Berserker Armor Guts... but wanted to be safe and had the cash anyways. It's a gorgeous sculpt but it does have its issues with loose waist joints. Seeing how much he sells for nowadays definitely make me glad I got him though.

They're better but they're still infested with Pops. The issue is really that people aren't spending. You have to realize, 0ne:12 represents 3-4 times the investment of mainstream lines. If people are poorfagging over $15 TFs, you'd be nuts to full a table with $75 Mezcos.

People generally relate prices to what they where getting around when they first started collecting. Prices have just jumped so much recently its hard to swallow. You can't expect someone to be happy paying $60 for what they used to pay $30 or $40 for before, or $220 for what used to be $160, etc.

That's pretty much the way everyone feels. The best combo is taking the standard Punisher w/the white logo armor and just giving him all the accessories from the Exclusive.

Not my pic, but definitely all the Guts figmas plus Griffith. Now it's pretty much impossible to get one sealed without spending around or over $100, even without shipping from Japan.

Not to mention that Berserk's been having much more exposure now with the anime and the PS4 game, so I only see them getting more expensive/harder to find.
I think it's pretty fucking stupid that GSC isn't re-releasing any of them (except Berserker armor since it was an exclusive). I'm pretty sure they're one of the most sought-for figmas, now's the PERFECT time to have re-releases with the anime, they'd sell like hotcakes; I think it's now or never. But we can only hope.

The Yamato 1/24 Patlabor Ingrams, but Unit-02 especially; even though it's not the favourite. Alphonse and the CLAT Ingram are pretty rare already, but Ohta's Unit 2 can be just at a obscene level(only one left of three found since last May on Plamoya for something pretty horrific) so it'd just break me if my search for a reasonable backup turned into a frantic need for a replacement...
