How large is "large scale"? I mean, how many figs?

Can these "bonus points" be redeemed for cash value?

I set this up in my living room a few months after moving out on my own for the first time (circa 2011). Took about a week to set up and break down. It was well over 300 bots, all of whom get stored in vehicle mode so just transforming them all to and from bot mode too a large chunk of time.

It's also the first pics I took with my at the time which is why it's such potato quality.

>>6249912
looks like a nice prom at home.
>>
>>6249984
Well I was well into my 20s when I set this up so it was long after I skipped out on my Prom. Though it was indeed a helluva lot of fun to set up. I haven't really been able to do anything like that for a few years now, but hopefully in a few months time I'll have a lot more space to really set up a nice war-zone display!
>>
>>6248505
I knew it was just a matter of time before GW stuff would be moved to /toy/..
>>
>>6249912
Please tell me there are at least another 150 more bots that we can't see in the pic, or admit that you are bad at counting.

I wish I had a camera back when the toys in my room were in a constant state of war. I'm still tempted to dig up the old crew of heroes and pose them up together.
>tfw the Great toy War ended in a down note with the heroes beaten on the run, like Empire

Finish it. The circle must be complete.
>>
>>6250448
Well there are more bots out of the pic (some are on the green boxes, a few are on the black DVD shelf and there's a few around the corner of the chair) but I'm also bad at counting and going off memory makes the number even less reliable.

I also count combiners by individual bots and I had a few of them set up.
>>
>>6248505
I was tempted for a minute to pull out every figure I own and create some kind of epic battle scene but it's just too much bother and I've got so few villains it would look unfair.

Maybe if the baddies were all back to back in a circle, surrounded on all sides....

Where can I acquire army men that small?

An assault to Fort Max.

>that small
They're all regular-sized there, 1/32 to 1/35. You can get 1/72 a lot of places though.
>>
Alittle too close up but I couldn't find the original
>>
>>6251157
I have a preference to 1/72, since they fit in with so many toys. Suddenly, Mega Bloks Halo figures can be mech suits. Robot Damashii become sort of in scale. Even Transformers start working at that scale.

Toy Soldiers Depot has a large selection of 1/72, there's several others but I'm most familiar with that one. I find them at dollar stores from time to time as well.

Still have a lot of my old Micro Machines too, they used to battle generic plastic soldiers of like size on the regular.

I need to get me a Fort Max, I just love how the smaller scale bots work so well with him. I'm glad I passed on the Metroplex version of the Mold cause I'd want Max to be my biggest Autobot.

He'll definitely be joining my collection once I get my house.
