Because I never see a thread for it, and I've got some questions on them, figured I'd try to start a thread on it.

So whats the best place online to get stuff that works with 1/12th figures, since those are the most common? Chairs, couches, little food items, especially drinks that can be held like beer bottles or cans.

Has anyone tried those bootleg Tamashii Effects that pop up all over eBay? Been looking for some flame effects and theres quite a few crazy colors of those floating around. Are they just recasts of the original in different plastic? Or are they changed somehow?
>>
Re-ment a best, although not always in perfect scale. Sometimes too big, sometimes too small.

Im pretty sure I bought one on eBay where it was the purple flame, and it came in bubble wrap inside a cardboard box to ensure that it was a recast. It was really good though, pretty much same quality as the real things.

I always wanted to make this stuff though for my Mew and Mewtwo

1/12 arcade cabinets is a great diorama display for figma, figuarts or other 1/12 scaled figures.

Sauce for the arcade cabinets are :

1. Wave 1/12 Taiko no Tatsujin(near figma Sakura) you'll need to drill two wholes for you to connect the drum holder on the cabinet.

2. 1/12 Desktop Arcade Collection: Beatmania(the one figma Maki is playing) it is a prize figure you can only get at crane machines but years ago Amiami sold these as a set(Empress and DJ Trooper).

3. 1/12 Vewlix by Wave(the one where figma Levi is standing at) There is 4 versions of this, a red cabinet(SFIV) that goes for high after market and a blue one with 3 variants(Nitro Blasters, Persona and Blazblue).

4. 1/12 Idolmaster Arcade cainet by Wave(the one figma Kirino is playing). It's already discontinued so it goes for high prize nowadays.

5. 1/12 Astro City Cabinet(the one figma Honoka is playing).

6 1/12 Hasegawa Crane Game(Near figma Mato and school version of Dead Master).

7. 1/12 Desktop Arcade Collection:Pop N Music(near the crane game) same as the Beatmania one and comes also in 2 versions(Movie and Party).

8. 1/12 Desktop Arcade Collection: Quiz Magic Academy(Near figma Umi). Same as the Beatmania and Pop N music, also comes in two versions but I forgot the names since it's been so long since I've taken all of them out of storage.)

9. 1/12 Wave Hang-on(the one figma Miku racing is riding).

I'm still wating every Wonfes for news of a DDR machine ;_;

Good luck, Konami has no fucking clue what they're doing anymore and they are quickly headed for ruin. I'm still bitter that they discontinued the CS Bemani releases after the PS2.

Wait, is that some sort of prototype Xeno being held up by SHF Domon Kasshu's stand? What fucking figure is that? Also,
>I forgot to mention that the Jubeat one lights up
Shit, that's cool. The one machine I didn't get and it has light-up features. Damn. I always wanted to mod my DAC sets with LEDs but they were so expensive (and now hard to find) that I am afraid of fucking them up.

Anyway, I'm just happy they exist at all. Bemani was a HUGE part of my teenage years so the fact that we have such beautiful 1/12 replicas is still a wonder to me.

Sorry I don't know, I just found that pic when I suddenly remembered the cancelled line and searched for pics.

I have all the DAC sets and variants excpet for the Jubeat one(only have Saucer) so I guess I can sacrifice one and leave one unmodded but I'm too lazy to do that and I don't have the skills to mod it anyways.

Where are you located? If your only means of buying figures are online then I guess look for deals on ebay then or if the online shops like HLJ Amiami, Hobbysearch, etc are having a sale then buy it during that time.

Rickhor409 pn ebay has capes, cloaks, robes, etc. but I don't think anything poseable.

For the price they should be much better than they are.

The hoodie and t-shirts are way better quality, but they're very tight fitting so unless your figure is shirtless or wearing normal clothes they probably won't fit very well.

One that feels obvious is dollhouse furniture at like Hobby Lobby and similar.

Also, because my wife would be looking at Scrapbook stuff at these places, I have found sometimes there is neat stuff there. For example I have some 3D Scrapbook buts of Monopoly and Scrabble that are close enough to 1/12th scale.

Sometimes the DIY Charms and Jewelry aisles at HL has some fun stuff as well though you may have little attachment loops that need cut off.

It's probably because they're expensive as fuck.

I'm a huge star wars fan, but $130 for some walls (that's how much it'd cost to have them shipped to me) is bonkers. Can't justify that price on backdrop pieces, I'd want more than 9 pieces for that kind of money.

If someone was to make some for $30-50 a set I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

Be careful of the bootleg effects. They're nearly identical, but the parts you use to put around the wrists and such are malformed more often than not and the plastic is much harder than the official ones. Makes them less usable, but still good.

That's actually how old joysticks looked. In most cases, it's fine.

Go to a sports department of Walmart or something, look for tackle boxes. They sell these big boxes with slots in the plastic that you slide plastic dividers into to make your own compartments within the box.

Pic related, it's mine.
>>
>>6285367

The ones I posted are from Micheals Arts and Crafts. I found them in the jewelry making aisle. They're used for storing different types of beads, etc.

Tackle boxes like >>6285403 work too, but the ones I've seen in stores don't come with as many dividers as the containers I use. Be sure to keep that in mind when shopping around.

Didn't think of sports or jewelry. I've got a couple from Home Depot that's 15 compartment (18 if you count the three unalterable cases in the front). These 45 (?) count ones like these would be so helpful with certain things. For one, Drive figuarts take up two of these things, but some releases clearly don't need compartment space this wide. Boxes like these would be perfect for these kinds of situations

Thanks, guys.

There are three areas to find essentially the same item.

Arts and Crafts, especially near beads.

Hardware tool boxes

Fishing Tackle Boxes.

I recommend getting ones that stack well and have modular bits.

It would be really weird of Goodsmile didn't include photos of accessories on their site, you'd think they'd want to show off all they can with a barebones figma like Samus.

>Preordered from AmiAmi and it's described that it has effects pieces.

Where? I'm on the page right now and there's no mention of effect parts.

Based on the photos we've seen so far, all she comes with is the morph ball and alternate left hands. Not even a missile. Also there doesn't seem to be a port on her cannon to use the effect parts from Other M Samus.

Some rement items looks a bit off in scale, but even so they work fine, they work better with nendos and poches IMO.

Where...? I haven't seen effects pieces mentioned. And they're definitely not in any of the pictures on Goodsmile's site.

All they've shown/listed is the morph ball, hand parts and alternate part for the arm cannon.

It ships orders by month, so you'd group this with other stuff releasing in May. Shipping cost isn't calculated until the order is ready to ship
