DX Nendoroids/Figmas aren't a separate product line so much as they are a marketing tactic - selling an alternate, bare-bones version at a lower price point. Delays are common as hell with GSC stuff; you really shouldn't be surprised. As for the release date in April, it's very much up in the air. Sometimes delayed products come out a week or two into their new release month, sometimes it's right at the end of the month, and sometimes they get delayed again.

If you're making a custom, make the hand-in-pocket part a separate hand with that portion of pocket attached, so it can be positioned up on the leg. That's how they did it for Nendoroid Red, and it looks a hell of a lot less awkward than trying to sculpt the pockets so that they can fit a hand (even if it's a designated stumpy hand).

Royal Mail choose parcels entirely at random. It's more a case of how long you want to wait for your parcel and at worse case I'd say Air Packet would probably get a higher custom charges if you did get any due to higher postage costs. Can never tell entirely due to the random nature of it all.
