And no confirmation on how many they're doing, but we did get a teaser for Dinobot. I'd like to assume they'll be doing everyone from S1 at least, but at minimum I'd count on getting all the pilot Maximals and Megatron.

And we're definitely going to be getting Tigatron in some way considering that's pretty much the only other major repaint/remold they could do with any BW character besides BW2 Primal.

I had almost every Armada toy beside a lot of the Minicons and Jetfire. It may be a gimmick but Scavengers steamroller legs were rad. Part of me wishes I didn't sell them all at a garage sale years ago. A huge, fun part of my childhood.

Yeah, nah. It's still dumb.
Think about it. It's totally redundant. He has a cannon mounted on his arm, and he can just as easily shoot his enemies with that than turn into a little pistol and have one of his underlings do it for him. Imagine if, in order to use his fusion cannon in robot mode, Megatron held his arm out and had Soundwave or Starscream or whoever have to grab it and manually move it around to aim for him before firing. Functionally, that is no different than him having them do that with him as a gun, and that in no way says "I am allowing you to use my body as a weapon against our foes much like my ideals as a blah blah blah". That says to me "this cannon is heavy, my arm is tired, aiming is hard, someone point me at the enemy so I can shoot them." In short, it makes Megatron look fucking lazy.

No wonder Starscream kept trying to usurp him. He may be a whiny fuckup, but he's a go-getter..

Honestly though ours not that bad though , I guess standard Hasbro QC though as it's one not that loose ball joint and two not too tight but not too loose pin joints on the one gnaw. But for 11 dollars ship, each, its kinda worth it. Plus it was only 12 days from China to California. I just wouldn't press my luck much on this factory errors.

I always thought of the canon itself as being a Decepticon heirloom sort of like the opposite of the Autobot matrix that also effects their form and lends access to its power.

It would make the arm-weapon theme across different Megatrons more cohesive and adds a little bit of a plot element in forcing the designated leader into trusting his lackeys in order to use the full potential of the weapon, simultaneously driving the wielder into paranoia and rage at the slow realization they've become mere vessels for power while turning his henchmen into possible usurpers causing a cycle.

Scorponok is probably going to be between 20 inches as well. He's pretty bulky compared to FM, and making him skinny would make him look really weird.

If he was the same size as fortress, he'd be at least 200-250 if we add the giant claws and the tail to the equation, and we assume he has similar proportions to FM (not counting the additions).

Switched the screw since, after taking them out, it was clear the Nucleon screw would break the Megatron face.

There's no point in doing that, the main problem between them is that the Nucleon torso is slimmer than Doomshot's. The Galvatron face made up for the small torso, but the Megatron face doesn't, leaving a gap.

Since when has Springer's alt heli ever looked like a real heli anyway? It's a futuristic (well, for the 80's) space helicopter. At best you can call it a "cybertronian helicopter".

MP Cheetor's most crippling flaw is his inability to sit like a cat.

I could look past the obscenely tight joints, cracked crotchplate, chest clearance issue and floppy torso, if he could just sit as well as Ravage could.

Yeah, but I wouldn't necessarily say they aren't focusing on the beast mode either. If anything, MP Cheetor's expressiveness and posability shows they're doing as much as they can to make either form equally good, though when a "conflict" arises between either form, obvious example being the back legs, it's clear the Robot mode will take preference, which I don't mind really.
