Wrong. There is a statue coming out by a brand not affiliated with Square-Enix. Normally they'd release that under their house brand if it was truly limited.

I'm looking into building some of the enemies, but I need some basic plastic shapes like tubes and balls. Does anyone know where to get mass produced styrene shapes? Surely balls and tubes are sold somewhere.

The Flare statue is still going to be distributed by Square-Enix; they're just outsourcing the manufacturing. SE doesn't have a huge presence in the statue market, which is probably why they okayed this. They're not going to let Max Factory, Bandai, or any competitors in a market that they ARE active in (posable figures) license out one of their properties. The best we can hope for is a Nendoroid or something, since SE seems to have given up on the whole super-deformed thing. As far as articulated figures go, it'll be a PAK or mmmmaybe one of these newfangled Bring Arts.
