Storm Collectibles is doing an Elite scale Hollywood Hogan
> better than literally any Mattel figure
> wfigs posters "Meh too articulated, not as good as Mattel"
I wish Hogan said he hated those people instead of the blacks
>>6217460
about choked on my water
>>6217441
Does it come with Bubba's wife?
Isn't this like $280 tho?
>>6217524
that's for the 12 inch one
>>6217668
Mattel is basically the same AND cheaper
NO THANKS
>>6217531
How much for the 24 inch one? I need those lifelike pythons, brother.
>>6217668
I can tell Storm probably tried really hard and shit on their sculpt, but actually, I think the Mattel sculpt looks more like him.
>>6217685
Hm nah, once we see that articulation then we will judge that
Mattel wrestling figures are mad disappointing
>>6217799
agreed, i've thrown all of mine out except for Paige
>New Hogan merchandise is possible
Oh man, SH Figuarts WWF Hogan PLEASE!
>>6217668
Left looks like a better toy overall, but right looks more like Hogan.
So what did you guys think of the Toyfair reveals?
I'm set on getting Rhyno and Shane but fuck paying $30 for a RAW ring to get Goldberg
>Nakamura got a defining moments before Wrestlemania 17 Edge
Smarks are cancer
>>6219900
>paying $30 for a RAW ring to get Goldberg
Wait, this is a thing? I was wondering why I didn't see any Goldberg merch.
Found the Mutations Brock Lesnar and I gotta talk a bit about him.
Still getting used to lighting my new setup, so bear with me.
The idea behind the line is, I guess, "gimmick come to life", with Sting as an actual scorpion, John Cena as a literal man made of steel, Finn Balor as a demon and Brock, evidently, as Goro.
>>6220143
i love that his stupid tattoo is now an indentation in his skin
Brock is on the "basic" articulation scheme, which means no ab-crunch and a T-crotch. Being an articulation Nazi, this usually bugs the fuck out of me.
However, Brock has two extra arms with full articulation and is almost entirely made of new pieces (the shorts and one set of arms may be old, but I don't know for sure) and they had the foresight to put his lower legs on a swivel/hinge instead of just a hinge, so you can fudge wider-legged stances by rotating the torso.
A torso-hinge would be cool, but I honestly don't even miss it.
>>6217470
underrated post
>>6220147
Yeah, the new pieces are surprisingly fun. The entire concept is absolutely bonkers, obviously, but I really like it. It's so over the top and reminds me of the, like, Donatello as Dracula TMNT figs.
My only real issue with the articulation is honestly that the feet only bend a few degrees forward. They bend backwards real far, but it's hard to make good crouching stances.
It's not exactly hard to put him in a good, intense pose, though.
This is an extremely intense toy.
And he was $13 at Wal-Mart. Thirteen fucking dollars. If you can even FIND Marvel Universe figures today, they're $13 at half the scale and half the articulation!
I could definitely nitpick stuff like the paint if it was priced like an Elite ($20), but at $13, I can forgive a whole fucking lot. Hooly shit.
Low-key early Toy of the Year contender for me. I haven't had this much fun posing a figure in some time.
Definitely looking out for Balor, too.
>>6220137
Lurker here. I notice your lightbox or setup is using LED bulbs or a strip. You see that wierd strobing effect your getting in your background? You need to adjust your shutter speed to fix that. If your using a phone I recommend finding an app that unlocks your camera settings. Goodluck keep shooting. Unless your using one of those corrugated boards as a backdrop. If so disregard this comment.
>>6220155
Y'know, I've seen this line most of my trips out and, despite initially laughing it off, I've kinda found myself tempted by Bork, Finn, and even BMJ a little. I just don't collect basics, which is almost certainly the base for this line, so I've held off in hopes for some sales or coupons.
The Zombies line looks like total shit to me, though.
>>6219905
Has nothing to do with smarks and everything to do with paying off an almost entirely newly tooled figure
>>6220184
This picture just sold me on this bad boy
>>6220246
It's actually both! LED bulbs AND a thick piece of corrugated paper! Thanks for the advice, I'll try playing around with the shutter speed and look at the results, though. Just upgraded my camera and I'm still getting used to that, too.
>>6220285
They're over the top enough to be really fun. And yeah, Basic articulation scheme. If you couldn't swivel the lower legs to improve the T-crotch somewhat, it'd lower my opinion a lot. I have no interest in the Sting figure since he can only do awkward Keep On Trucking poses or stand at attention.
Someone might be able to put an Elite Brock's hips and upper legs on him with a little bit of work, but my track record with customizing WWE figures is horrible, so it ain't me.
The Triple H zombie is alright, but not enough for me to spend actual money on it.
>>6220137
oh, so that's why the label changed for the zombies to mutants.
>>6217441
No Gawker tombstone?
No generic Champ belt?
>>6217858
which other mattel figures did you used to have?
>>6217460
This 100%. Fucking fags have been ranting for years that they want more articulation, the finally get it and just because it's not from Mattel they start shitting on it.
>>6217460
Maybe the problem is because you still go to the wfigs boards.
>>6221921
Yeah why go to the board of the store putting this figure out where all the pictures in this thread came from
>>6221943
The main page updates all the time so you don't needlessly have to subject yourself to the inane posting on the message board.
I posted there all the way back from the wrestleworld.com/figurezone.net days to the begining of wfigs, till around 2008 when it became unbearable. I'm speaking from experience.
>hogan
they're still allowed to do hogan toys? I thought he was purged from all wwe stuff after he said nigger or something
>>6221962
This is licensed through Hogan, not WWE.
>>6221981
oh, that makes sense
>tfw we will never get licensed LU figures
>tfw if we do they will be exactly like those lame ROH figures
I just want my ninja husbando ;_;
>>6217460
>being THIS wrong
%92 say it's amazing
Did you even look at the same page?
>>6220319
you should StarDust's Ayy Lmao figure
>>6222958
>%92
No need to respond further
>>6220742
Rollins (first release and WM), Styles, and Dana Brooke
>>6223026
>"no, you're wrong"
fucking wew lad
Why can't Mattel (even Jakks for that matter) put out a figure of The Rock that actually LOOKS like The Rock and not OJ Simpson?
>>6224652
>legends 3
>Defining Moments
>Elite 22
those 3 look like the man
>>6222117
NECA would do wonders for the LU license
>tfw Hasbro gets a LU license
it'd be pretty rad actually
>>6228129
Sculpts would be cool, articulation would be garbage
>>6228673
I assume they'd go all the way in terms of double joints like their current preds or Kratos and even the upcoming Supes and Bats. Drago would be nuts.
>>6228695
Have they ever done butterfly shoulders? Basically I am not satisfied with any wrestling toy below the SHF WWE/Kinnikuman standard
Does anyone know when the WWE network spotlights Finn Balor came out? I'd like to grab one. I don't have any wrestling figures anymore so know nothing about them.
>>6217441
does it hurl racial slurs when you press a button?
>>6231473
Like a month ago
Why is this taking so long to arrive?
>>6239665
Ulfric Stormcloak?

>>6242007
>njpw figures potential
who is that guy tho
>>6242007
Is this real?
Who is the guy anyway?
>>6242007
HOLY SHIT
Network spotlight Vince is pegwarming hard at TRU
>>6220143
Finn is VENOM
100 dollars for Honky Tonk is suffering :(
I just got this glorious bastard as well as Beast in the East Finn Balor. Good figure week.
>>6246395
>glorious
he looks retarded
>>6246395
Imo, he's a really shit figure. Not worth the $25.
>>6246395
My pre-order came in several weeks ago. Haven't opened him yet. Probably keep him packaged and sell to some smark for $500 in 10 years
>>6220192
MENACING
>>6239665
>tfw you see clitdick
where's the best place to buy past elites? I just got back into wrestling and everything is like japan-level of prices.
Miz and Maryse as Jahn and Nikki elites when
>>6246525
Honestly, he does in real life. But who cares.
>>6245386
this
Does anyone own Xavier Woods and Paige? Can someone post a pic of her posed on his crotch and his hands in the air
>>6241135
>Ayy Lmao
>Gimmicky
i know for a fact that is deliberately not true, but here's the reply
>>6247236
>buying at that price
Lrn2Shop
anyone get the new HoF figures yet?
I'm seeing them in target and I desperately want that Booker
>>6253157
That's MSRP
>>6222958
did you?
>>6217441
so who's ready for the innevitable Hardy Boyz wrestlemania 2-pack
>>6256448
I've been casually getting back into wrestling the last few years. I haven't owned a wrestling figure since the rubber guys. I would buy a Broken Matt Hardy figure (if the WWE are allowed to use the gimmick)
>>6245615
Good news for me at least. I'm trying to find a decent one that doesn't have any issues. So far, 2/2 that I've bought have had loose ab crunches. Returned them both and on the hunt I am again.
>>6246525
have you SEEN Shinsuke Nakamura?
>>6246525
no, seriously
Booker is pretty cool in gold
Also I found the Rock and some Rey Mysterio at a toy con for $5. Not sure what wave this Rey is from because there's a million of his figures out there
>>6256448
You would think WM17 Edge and Christian would be more appealing
>>6217441
Is Hogan still blacklisted by the WWE?
>>6257856
For now. It's just a matter of time before he's back.
>>6257856
They've been testing the waters. He hasn't personally been back, but they've referenced him and played clips of him once or twice, I believe.
>>6217441
whats the price point for this gonna be like? I'd like to get 2 but not if they are over 50.
>>6257679
>Rey Rey
>King Booker
I'm so jealous
>goldberg
>angle
>hardy's
>shelton benjamin
I hope the elites come soon. I'm also looking for a JBL and Booker, do any good figs of them exist
>>6260382
Angle us the only one without an elite, but give it like a month.
bought a basic lesnar to kitbash with my elite. Now have Undisputed Brock with the MMA Gloves and smug face.
Should go well with my Mutant Brock
Broken Matt elite when?
King booker is great but expensive
>>6257682
he was talking about the (obvious) return of the Hardys at wrestlemania.
I'm not too familiar with wrestling figures since i've been out of the loop since my childhood. But I've always been curious, has there been any good female figures released in recent years?
>>6265635
They're coming out with this big lady soon, Nia Jax.
Some recent ladies figures are Bayley, Lita, and Carmella for the mattel line.
>>6265635
The general female mold is pretty solid in my opinion, though the Elites have accessories and such which often makes them better. Regardless of the line, they can be pretty hard to find, though, and that sucks.
>>6265724
I don't much care for Nia but that looks pretty good, might have to get it if only to have a female heel. Have we gotten a Charlotte Elite yet? If not, why?
>>6267967
not yet for some reason, we already got Bayley, Sasha, Becky Lynch is coming soon.
So many choices for Charlotte though
>tfw can't find retro taker and warrior
why is wal mart so shit?
>>6217460
>too articulated
n-nani?
Have fun waiting to get your Hulk on.
>tfw waiting for SFV Bison
>>6270937
i haven't found any of the retro figs yet
I know very little about wrestling, why have there been no Rey Mysterio figures for a while? I like his design.
>>6271269
He's not in WWE anymore.
>>6271280
Thought it was something like that.
