Got an RC car years back but my dog's scared of it so I never played with it. Recently got an idea to spruce it up and play with it outside rather than inside with the dog. Opened it up and started fiddling with it. Stripped 2 screws and the battery compartment doesn't look properly wired. Pic is the battery compartment. Takes 6 AA batteries. Wondering if I should connect the prongs on both sides (to the ones on their own column (I've done nothing with engineering so)).
This is the stripped screw. This one's about 5-7mm down and there's another about 12mm-ish down. Wondering if there's a way to remove these. Going to a warehouse tomorrow so I can pick up anything suggested.
That's the car if anyone cares. It's pretty alright, thick rubber wheels with tons of grip, but it's a bit on the louder side. Got it for $50 AUD and it's got a decent remote. Not one of those retarded gun ones with a wheel on the side.
