Since we're on the topic of Kirkman character figures, the one armed version of The Governor and Negan figures are stupidly hard to get. Yes I know both of these figures have had general releases but the Governor is not in armor and Negan is covered in blood. Not to mention Negan is in an overpriced two pack with Glenn. The part that hurts the most is they're not six inch.

It's a slightly different take on a super hero universe that plays fast and loose with typical cape tropes and tends to have lasting consequences as time passes. It can be tongue in cheek wacky one moment and veer wildly into large scale carnage in the next. Quality can be hit or miss and sometimes it does come off as shock value edgy but most of the time the art is consistent and the plot moves along.

Image (and Dark Horse) is one of the only big companies putting out thought provoking stuff anymore.

It has come a very long way since the 90's

Well probably Ebay come Thursday as thats the first day of the convention, sellers will probably have em up for their good ol 50 dollars pricetag.
Otherwise I saw a tweet saying the figure will be going up for sale in the skybound store, but not for a while after the convention.
So who knows how long, maybe a few weeks to a month away.

I like Prophet and Glory a bit better but Moore's unfinished run on Supreme was good too.
Even if it did get a little too up it's own ass sometimes with the 'totally not Superman' thing.
