I've been offered a non-legacy Alleyne. I like the look of it and it's kinda inexpensive but are the old ones so bad they're useless?

I have no experience with Revoltechs. Only Figmas so far.

Not at all. The older joints were made differently and sometimes had the propensity to get loose over time. Mostly from a lot of movement. But it honestly isn't that big of a deal i most cases.
People like to exaggerate things for whatever reason. I have a complete set of QB's I bought as they were being issued, and none of them are "floppy and useless"
If you do get one that has an issue, see above posts for a good replacement.

You'll run into problems in the hips, but the rest of the small joints work. That is unless she adopts the ball joint hips as most latter revos did. It requires a bit of filling in. I never did that.

Big joints are alright on their own and it wouldn't be worth it to swap them out.

Counterpoint: I've got some older QB's and some Legacy QB's. The older ones are floppy as fuck compared to the newer, noticeably so.

I actually cribbed the neck joints from my Legacy QB's and used them to fix up my Menace, whose pre-fix revo joints were kinda shit. They work fine for the necks of the other revo's, and now my Menace isn't floppy as a limp dick.

To MY knowledge, only Cattleya has been KO'd. Check on Aliexpress for any QB figures. Whatever shows up will tell you if it's been bootlegged.

Only one I have is young Alice but she is a marvelous figure.
She completely changed my oppinion on Revoltechs.

$45 is a decent price for her.
I don't know how the others turned out but I hear good things about them.
