I love the choices of this line. Perona isn't a strange choice. She's a fan favorite, especially in Japan. And that's why Megahouse have chosen her. Same case with Mihawk, Rob, Boa etc.

They aren't dicking about like most companys do and releasing the expected boring shit as the line eventually tanks before they get around to the cool shit. They are focusing on it straight away. VAH honestly has the best release choices i've ever seen a company make in a figure line.

Outside of the leg articulation he is fairly gimped, plus his head keeps falling apart because the back part with the hair is too damn heavy.

Also, one of his suspenders was broken out of the box and he has random black paint marks on his body.

I'm kinda done with the line now. Too many QC issues that they NEVER have any intent to fix.

Actually, fixed the head issue. The socket that comes up to put the face and hair on was backwards, so they had the hair in the face socket and face on the hair socket.

Rest is still a total bummer. His ab crunch is practically non existant.

Oh, one last surprise. His left foot was put on before the paint was fully dry and the paint dried sealing it to the ankle section.

Fixed that, but his hips are so loose he has problems supporting his own weight.

Well, my Usopp is okay. His hips are a little lose and I can't really move his head. But other than that, I'm okay with it. These guys really need to be like $10 cheaper.

Definitely. I'm out of the line because of it. I'd be happy with those, but, and this is only if they really commit to it, I'd also be happy with a 1/18 line, whether a candy toy line or not, for One Piece. Many of the larger characters to scale wouldn't work all that well in a larger scale. Something like Assault Kingdom (due to the larger figures) and the Shodo lines would be pretty cool. And for once we could probably get the complete crew including our tall skeleton and robot man.

The only VAH I had was Gin from Gintama, and he suffer from widely reported fucked up hand peg that is very easy to snap. I got fucked over, and had to replace his wrist joint and redrill all of the replaceable hand pegs. Thankfully I have some flesh tone joints readily available from my last batch of joints that I bought from China.

Inclined to get Hijikata, but don't want to get fucked over again.

I don't think age has anything to do with it, Bandai just phoned in the SHF and the Zero releases because they thought they could get away with it. When they realized they couldn't they put some effort into Sanji but by then it was too late, the line was dead. Figuarts Zero kept going but man oh man was the QC total dog shit for years. They even forgot to give Nami her tattoo in one of the releases and there was a lot of false advertising regarding paint apps/sculpt which were removed on release.
