looks better than the different Funko toys
anyone else like McFarlane's lego sets?
>>6194880
I'm a fan of the show, but those look like shit.
>>6194891
Whole bunch of different sets and minifigures.
>>6194899
now -this- is shit

>>6194915
>finally get R&M toys
>cheap McFarlane and Funko garbage
>>6194924
Someone found a monkey paw and used the first wish to wish for rick and morty figures, and the second wish to wish for ones not from Funko.
rick and morty sucks
Why are they psuedo legos?
Also how are the FNAF builds they released?
This is kinda pointless to me.
These look like modelling clay projects off DeviantArt what the shit.
>>6195304
The FNaF sets are fantastic.
>>6194899
The minifigures will look better than the clay the prototypes are made out of. Check the FNaF figures to see how detailed they can be, complete with fluffy texture.
why are there THREE fucking threads of this shit right now
>>6195339
Didn't see one for McFarlane's building sets.
Also, the South Park sets are pretty weird looking. Cardboard cut outs don't want to transition to lego minifigures well.
Also also, the Gem Warrior cartoon sets look well done, but I'm not a fan and dont even know the real name for that Cartoon Network show, so what do i know?
>>6195304
The FNAF sets are fantastic, but they're even better when you swap the McFarlane figures for the Funko static figures.
>>6195393
Where are you getting these pics from? I'm curious to see how bad the 'Gem Warrior' stuff is.
How do you fuck up something so simple?
>>6195393
McDonald's really stepping up
>>6196227
LEGO minifigures are shit though.
Only two brands that make awesome minis are MegaBloks and McFarlane.
>>6196251
Disagree, they look too lumpy to me. McFarlanes especially, Mega Bloks are okay for being tiny action figures but the sets still stink.
>>6196251
I prefer the smoother shapes of the Lego Minifigures with detail prints over the mess of details that Mega Construx have.
>>6194909
Pretty excited for Jerry and Mr Meeseeks
>Jerryboree when
>>6196274
I disagree. My main problem with is the lack of articulation, which is why I love mega figs.

Never Ever
>>6196457
Mega really are the best tiny figures on the market.
>>6195393
They would probably look better if they were a little chubbier to emulate the dimensions they have in the show. Like, all the kids should look like Cartman's minifigure, and then Cartman's figure should be even chubbier than that.
>>6196607
*summer figure laying on her back with her legs up in the air* that would have been exploitable. I can imagine the woody, pizza time spiderman, rape dog, and figma horse photos now.
>>6196833
Hahaha
>>6196251
>LEGO minifigures are shit though
I'm a huge fan of the Mega Bloks articulated figures but that's simply false
>>6199195
You can ilke their design, but you can't tell me that they're not fucking cheap to produce, since they're all basically just clones of each other.
When they're that cheap to produce, they shouldn't cost the same amount as minifigures that other companies like MegaBloks are producing.
It's like buying Popz or these
>Still surprised that a shit show gets shit merchandise
>>6199208
Not the same thing though, is it? LEGO has higher QC and makes new parts for figures, these are mostly all the same figure just with different paint.
Plus the LEGO look is iconic, it's more about interacting with construction than being an action figure too.
Mega Bloks figures look good, until you put them next to construction sets. It just clashes way too much for me.
>>6199277
I don't get the surprise either. The type of people who like that show are the type more likely to get Lootcrates, POPs or similar shit from geeky stores in their area. So it makes sense that the toys seem to match the type of viewer and the type of toys they would typically buy.
No point a Figma or Figuarts because they would just shelfwarm harder than anything before. I get that people want higher quality merch for stuff they like but they are the minority in a sea of people who settle for below average.
>>6199457
I enjoy the show a lot but hate pops. I would looooce a figma but I know it'll never happen for your reasoning. Like a lot of things the fan base ruins what I want.
>>6199457
>Only options are cheap garbage or expensive imports.
Are you a sith, you dealing only in absolutes motherfucker?
We're not just getting the Mr. Universe van from Mcfarlane. There's also Rose, Garnet, Pearl, and Lapis.

>>6199457
No point a Figma or Figuarts but there are plenty of fans who would buy a screen accurate depiction of the character not some stylized abortion
>>6199422
>LEGO has higher QC
Not as high as they used to, considering how easily the legs get stress marks and the sides of the torsos crack. Not to mention CMFs are often complained about in /lg/ for having a noticeably lower quality than those that come in proper sets.
>new parts for figures
New accesories. The same basic legs/torso/head design has been the same since the eighties.
> these are mostly all the same figure just with different paint.
Which does apply to Lego.
I have regrown to love Lego Minifigures, but it doesn't change the fact that Mega blindbags are a vastly superior deal to CMFs. More parts, more articulation, and unless I just got lucky, I've only had one QC issue with loose joints on the pink Spartan.
Paying MORE for CMFs is basically just a Lego tax, unless Mega is selling their figures at a massive loss, which seems rather unlikely, especially after the Mattel buyout.
>>6201876
They look like printed prototypes.
>>6195271
W-what the hell is their third wish?
>>6202265
season 3 to be released
>>6201810
I just think these look ugly and I don't like Mega Bloks stuff either, man. No need for you to keep arguing about it. You do you.
>>6202185
Hope so. Otherwise that's an easy pass.
>>6194891
kinda surprised they made this scene out of all the possibilities
>>6202806
They're prototypes, so they're not going to look the best.
The Five Nights at Freddy's sets looked slipshod last year too, but they aced them. By far the most impressive Freddy figures yet.
You have to remember that the Toy Fair stuff may look rushed and is only there to attract interest in products. The catalogs, pamphlets, and other hand outs are that are photoshopped are the ones that are supposed to be shown to the public.
>>6200665
You're exactly the kind of normie he's talking about
>>6194909
id love to know how much of that is repainted lego
>>6194891
I dunno, I can't place it, but the painting looks...weird. Somehow very clay looking.
>>6203937
Nothing.
Mcfarlane has had their own blocks since before they released the Walking Dead stuff, so they had been producing prototypes for quite a while.
Or did LEGO have wood grained pieces?
