You may not have noticed, but this board has general threads. Now, Figuarts is a line that covers more than 1 genre. It was not always like this. It used to be, that Figuarts pretty much only made tokusatsu figures with a handful of anime characters sprinkled in.
Now, Figuarts as a brand is discussed in the Star Wars general, the DBZ Figuarts general, the toku general, the Marvel general, the wrestling figure general, AND the Figuarts General. Think about it: if there was only one thread for Figuarts, it would be a little busier, now wouldn't it? :^)

Different anon but they've got some pretty wonky paint jobs on the bodies and the face and hair sculpts on some aren't really the greatest (compared to figma, anyway) - I've had to spot correct most of the photos I've taken up closely their faces. The skirts being a harder material is a pretty big hindrance to their articulation too, although you can still have tons of fun with what you get. Little armory gloves work with them too if that's your thing

But do you really need someone to tell you that? I mean, it's TMNT! TMNT has a lot of fans, and many of them older. Playmates, however, has not done a good job of appealing to said older fans, and up till these things were announced, the only good adult oriented TMNT figures to come out were the NECA comic turtles and the revoltechs. Now, come Sh figuarts, with new figures based off of Classic TMNT aimed squarely at adults.

Really enjoying the Rogue One Stormtrooper!

One thing that had really bothered me about these troopers was the shape of their crotch armor plate; just looked way too wide and stretched too far down (still ordered three, though...). In-hand, while I still think the shape of the crotch plate is wrong from a strictly screen-accurate point of view, it's not nearly as pronounced as I thought it'd be and I can understand how they arrived at this design to help with the hips' range of motion.

Everything else looks pretty much perfect in my eyes, and I absolutely love the updated helmet sculpt.

I love the shoretrooper design, and the SHF is a great rendition. The sculpt and paintwork are superb. Poseability is very good overall, but the one weak spot is the ankles. While rotation and rocking range is great, you barely get any up/down range. Most SHF troopers seem to suffer there, though the Rogue One stormtrooper bucks this trend by having great overall ankle range of motion.

She's really disappointing. I loved their regular first order trooper, but she nowhere near the same level. Matte finish instead of gloss, a really shitty rigid cape, and the hands pop off all the time. Also, for some reason she feels really light, almost like model kit level hollow.

Putting my disappointment for the character aside, she's a decent figure with arguably the best proportions across the 6 inch lines (more feminine), though a little on the short side due to Bandai's general disregard for scale. She's also more stable on the ground than the regular trooper because of the flat feet design.

The cape is plastic but I honestly don't have a problem with it in most poses, and it is removable if you want.

The SHF cape really isn't that bad: it hangs down from the shoulder well and looks natural in most standing poses (unlike Vader's cape which was permanently tilted to one side). Plus realistically, I'm never going to display Phasma crouching on the ground.

The biggest issue for me was the size, which is a full head shorter than the Black Series Phasma (which kinda suffered the opposite problem of being a bit too tall). But again, it not a case like manlet Vader where she's ludicrously short.

Coming from MK45 and 46 I found myself really loving this one just due to better posability. Only downside is the lack of serious option parts beyond the flight flaps for his back and the same usual set of hands and effects.

And I guess I would nitpick on the lack of general aiming repulsor hands since that slot is always taken up with the ones with pegs to put in the blast effects.

This. Beyond the Mk3, only other suits I own are the Mk45 and 46, and yet I find myself gravitating towards the Mk3 more often than not.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Bandai made the original Bruce a tad too short because the baggy, high-waisted kung fu pants make it hard to judge proportion. The diorama sets were the best part of the line and it's a shame they died because they became boxes of static Mario grunts instead of say, a flag pole or the lever platforms.
