Wow, Yume suddenly shot out of SAL limbo and was delivered today! She is not perfect but overall I am fairly happy with her. Her waist joint is STILL kind of loose but not that bad. Her right hip is really loose though (the socket, not the joint itself), I'm hoping some floor polish or whatever will fix that. Random other joints and sockets are too loose or too tight, like I'm not sure how I will ever get her side skirts on, they are extremely stubborn. Coming from figmas, she's way harder to pose than those because her joints aren't ball joints, but hopefully I will get used to it. I got some Gundam markers so she should look even better with some panel lines once I get those on.

Picco Neemo works depending on the outfit. Anyone who spouts the THEY DON'T FIT!!111! doesn't actually own any garments. Some things are big in the shoulders but things that aren't fitted or are loose work better. Or things like this maid outfit where the shoulders are meant to be huge. Polynian arms are a noticeable amount shorter than picco neemo but that's ignoreable on short sleeves/things that would look okay slouchy/things that would look cute if it came past their hands.

My Emil came in earlier this week.
I have some minor gripes (the non-removable articulation hindering shorts legs, and his horrible gummy watch being the most annoying) but overall he made a good introduction to the Polynian line and he is a lot of fun.

I liked him so much that I immediately tracked down a Clover to go with him.

The joints on daibadi's stuff are pretty bad in general. The actual hinges like to be loose, flex open, and even pop apart. I've owned two polynians and their aigis, and all three had sketchy joints. I haven't broken anything, but they're definitely not something you want to manhandle.

Why is this an issue in 2017? Most ball joints are extremely similar.

In other news, new updates were shared by Daibadi for what they have prepared for WonFes. Looks like a painted prototype for Vania will be on display as well as the finished prototype of Lucio along with his female option parts.

Also shared were the new design for a new male character in combat armor clothing along side a new design proposal for Polynains (pink teaser image). The red illustration teaser they shared seems to be Rosa (Polynian Mistress-chan) so it's nice to know they plan to make her a figure.

Got Emil in today. Only problems were some black smudges on the face he's currently wearing that the hair pretty much hides, the pegs for the "ribbon" thingys on his hat are a little looser than I'd like, and a bit of paint mishap here or there (but thats par for the course for most figures of any line).

His "hold an item" fists were really hard to get the pegs into at first, had to insert a handle from another toy's of mine to loosen it up enough that I wouldn't fear breaking anything.

Kawaii uguu as a motherfucker though.

Anyone have that joint fixing thingy Daibadi made? I got my Yume in today, and, well...I can see why she's both great and why so many people hated the QC on her. It's absolute shit.

Mine has loose knee joints, and then everything else is super goddamn tightly pegged. Her hair hole was too small (fixed by slowly working the peg in, it's fine now), her pegs for her front hair piece we damn near stuck in, same for her skirt bow tie in the back. Her face plates are hard to fit on, really tight (but I had this issue with Emil as well). I can see why people lost some confidence after her given all of these issues shouldn't be happening, let alone on one figure.

But at least they're all fixable issues. I hope to fuck mine doesn't yellow. I've currently got in her pieces while I'm monkeying around trying to solve the various peg issues. Already had to blast her a bit with a hair dryer just to get some of the pegs out of her various pegged in bits.

Also the seller included a little hand written thank you. That was cool of them.

The more figures are released, the more reused parts you're going to see since the plan was always to have a couple of "base" bodies that the other figures were built from.

For example, Lucio's going to be using a bunch of Shamrock/Emil parts and is apparently also planned to have the same gun and shoes as Mel.

They re-released them one time and it wasn't even a true re-release. It was a re-release in the sense that the first wave was under produced because they didn't understand the demand would be so high so they almost immediately put up a second wave for pre-order.

They have not been re-released since then except for the Grays which as of this moment are totally fucking useless for any kind of body swapping since no other gray body releases have even been announced. That means we still can't have nude bodies for all these white releases.

This image really shows off why i find Pinkle more appealing than the standard Polynians. Polynians are obviously somewhat meant to be sexualized in-universe, as they're able to reproduce with humans(and probably other Polynians). Motoroids are robots co-developed by Humans and Polynians, in the image of Polynians.

They are kind of tight on Clover but work fine as long as you leave a gap so you can pop them off with your fingernail.

I've found that with my original release Yume, the waist came loose easily because the top of the hip piece had been done crooked. I took the smallest size flathead, jewler's screwdriver I had and carefully carved away at the front of the smaller hole and the waist piece stays a lot better now. Can you post a pic of what your hip/butt piece looks like where the torso piece is supposed to connect?

Thanks for the idea although I feel like the eraser might possibly scratch the head? I used a microfiber cloth, cotton swabs and alcohol swabs and it faded it a lot however it didn't remove it completely although there is no scratches on the head. I'm going to pick up Magic Eraser tomorrow though.

A very slightly abrasive scrubbing pad. Mainly used to get scuff marks and stuff off of walls.

Has anybody swapped the hair pieces on the grey and white Clovers?
I would like to know how that looks.
