I hate how the past 5 Jason's I've bought from NECA have loose hips including the one this is basically a re-release of, yet I'm still going to get this one.

Why arent the rights holder for the F13th Game or the new F13th movie in the works licensing them? According to NECA they wont be doing any figures for the new game or movie because theyre not offering the rights to anyone.

I wonder if that game gets big enough, theyll finally decide to do a Tommy Jarvis since he's playable. I doubt it (especially after their L4D line) but it'd be cool

Horror flicks are a huge passion of mine, as are toys, so I'm happy as fuck to talk with other people about it.

I'd fucking love figures from Eternal Darkness, that game had some cool monster designs. It's unlikely as hell, but I can dream.

I wasn't sure about getting this guy at first, but I think I've been won over.

Is ED2 era Ash's likeness really that hard to capture?
I've yet to see any company come close to capturing it. NECA's the closest, but the expression they chose wasn't fitting, at least not for Hero Ash. The new head that's coming with the new Ultimate looks good but I'll wait until we see it painted to make my final judgement.

That's different though.
That was back when they were just making basically statues. Back when they were making figures for thousands cheaper than they do now because they weren't engineering articulation and plastic prices weren't as high as they were today.

For like a decade now they've been sticking with less obscure characters and properties because to no one's surprise Alien and Predators rake in more money than the Tallman from Phantasm.

I understand why they make the their choices, gotta make money, but regardless I get bummed out thinking about how we'll never see NECA reboot their Cult Classics line with their modern day articulation. I also understand that's supposed to be part of the appeal for their retro cloth line, because with that line they can afford to put out more risky characters, but I personally them due to the baggy clothes, funky proportions, and they're out of scale with other NECA horror figures.

Since then Loomis' arms broke off. and I lost Michaels knife so he just lurks in the background of my display
