They really don't. Aoko's game got no traction and Tsukihime remake is looking to be pretty shit if it ever actually gets off the ground. Type Moon tasted real cash flow in 2011 when Fate blew up and they don't want to give it up.

Protagonist of the franchise, they were pretty much forced to release him at some point when they were starting searching for characters of this series to release back in the day. Also, the first one was released at the same time of casual Saber to boost sales on both, the second one was released when the UBW anime was popular.

I recognize my failure here, though. I had no clue about the anime adaptation of Apocrypha until know, I was only aware of the Extra and Heaven's Feel ones. I guess we can expect Mordred at the very least, but I'll be rooting for a Lancelot too, even if I really doubt they will release one.

Seems to me you're not even understanding what the discussion was about. I was under the assumption that Apocrypha was just a light novel series, and that's why I said that there was no chance of characters from this work getting released under the figma line if they didn't had an anime or videogame tie-in being popular at the moment too.

If that was really the case the point will still stand, it doesn't matter if we're talking about just the Type-Moon figmas or the overall figma line.


Nonetheless now I know there's an anime in the works, so I expect Max Factory to milk this adaptation too and release one or two figmas at the very least.

What are the servants released under the Grand Order name for now? Gilgamesh because everybody wanted him before the mobile game even existed and Shielder because she's the new relevant waifu of the game. There are a shitton of heroic spirits and variants on that game, I don't expect Max Factory to start releasing a ton of figmas based just on it.

Having many expectations will only lead to dissapointment, be glad if they announce two or three more Apocrypha/Grand Order figures this year that aren't Wonfes exclusive versions of Saber.
