I sure would love it if Bandai would release all the Yamato 2199 and Gundam human figures they showed 3 or 4 years ago but never put into production. And I hope Sega will release some more "vintage" character prize figures. The Utena and Nadia figures were great.

Everything I like are the characters than hardly get any figures I actually want. So instead I just generalize, and hope. Figma keeps make less of what I'm interested in anyways and why I started branching into other action figures more last year.

Does anyone know where I could find a proxy that won't cost too much of an arm and a leg? There was someone proxying on MFC last year but the fees from the person who would procure them make a $170 garage kit action figure that I wanted become $360+. Is that typical?

Can anybody give me some tips on how to approach going to wonfes? I went two years ago without any prior scouting but fucked it up and just explored at my leisure before realizing it was already closing down. Is there some kind of catalog of different circles online? I haven't been able to find one, but I really want to know where to find what I want before it sells out.

I need a transformable Chouginga Gurren Lagann or Arc-Gurren Lagann in my life.

Well, it's best to have an idea of what you want first. Fandoms, characters, etc, I'm totally sure you already know what you're wanting.

MFC's catalogue is the main way to find figures/kits, try searching here: myfigurecollection.net. The site has details on the circle, item number, price, and if it'll be at WonFes, generally. You might have to check into the circle to find their exact location, though.

If you need to find more info on a particular sculpter/artist/circle then you can usually find them on Twitter, sometimes they have websites. Often, the Twitter accounts will cross promote. I don't speak rune so I'm not really sure what's going on, but I was able to find the table number and location (they posted a map) of the kit I'm looking for.

You could also just straight up Google for "character name"+"figure"+"kit" or something as another place to start - that's actually how I started down this rabbit hole in the first place myself, but I didn't know about MFC then.

I'm the guy looking for a proxy, btw.

He is the Warrior of Light, one of the main protagonist of the original Final Fantasy.

He had a Play Arts Kai done of him. However, on top PAK not being my preferred scale the colors were very oversaturated and red accents were added for no reason.

With the new 6-inch line being made by Play Arts, I have hopes they will do him again. I hope they do a whole lot of Yoshitaka Amano-designed high fantasy armors from Final Fantasy. Though for this list, I just listed my two favorite Amano Characters: Warrior of Light and Terra Brandford (to his right).

There's really just one circle that I know by name and want to visit, and their site hasn't been updated at all to reflect their going. I guess I'll just have to check twitter. I've used MFC before but I didn't think it showed projects that circles are premiering at wonfes. It just seems a little unspecialized unless there is some kind of filter for only circles that have been at wonfes before.
