I used to have a green one with a mohawk when I was little, I still remember it had a pretty distinct plasticky smell. I miss when kids in my school would all tell these crazy stories about their Furbies coming to life and doing horrible things.

Generation 2 had actual voice recognition (not that it was very good) but the Connect is geared more towards interacting with software. It's popular with people looking to fuck with the programming though.

Does the newest generation not have the benefits of the previous generations? I was under the impression that the "learning" of a furby was never removed and only improved.

We got Ferbie Connect for my step son and had problems with it dying after we synced to the app. We exchanged it and didn't sync the new one but it still randomly dies.

Anyone know anything about this or a fix? I figure it's just eating batteries really fast but it only lasts like a day or two
