I personaly think the Sentinel one looks like garbage, both the proportions and excesive surface detail.
The aoshima is the most accurate, revoltech and kotobukiya kit are good stylizations that stay true to the design. SRC looks good too, and compared to this SOC might end up looking better proportion wise, like Daizyujin did.

I don't really think they will make any changes at this point. Seems to me that those inaccurate paintjobs are a concious decision gor whatever reasons. The Sabertooth tiger should have silver paint on the part of the body under the neck and that's missing too.

I absolutely love combining robots in shows, but for toys, I'd much rather have something that can have perfect proportions and articulation without having to compromise for a transformation. Putting a combining Gravion together for the first time would be fun, but it's not like I would ever separate it and display the machines instead of the robot.

It's indeed outdated, but it's got size, weight, transformation, and honestly still somewhat playable articulation, and last I checked Mandarake, its aftermarket price rising in close to Sentinel's piece. I don't really suprised people wanted it to be reissued.

The pleasant surpirse for me would be it's going to be a renewal job instead of straight up reissue. I hope they refine the engineering like Combattler or Voltes renewal releases.

So how are you guys feeling about this set? I think the way everything combines looks awesome but I'm not super sold on the look for whatever reason. It is quite close to how Obari drew it for them, but I kinda prefer the SoC to be honest.

I think it has to do with the more organic look the SoC has, which brings it closer to the Machine Robo opening.

Finally got my Chogokin My Melody. I'd ordered the regular version ages ago but it never arrived. Just as my refund came through they announced the anime version, so I've been waiting a long time for her. But it was worth it to get Kuromi and Baku too.
