Started buying JoJos in the most average way possible with Jotaro Second. He's really cool and I'll definately be buying more eventually but how often do parts go missing or swapped during production? My one came with two left pointing hands instead of left and right pointers which isn't a disaster but still kind of irks me.

I've had opened and used figures from Mandarake come in better condition than unopened MISB figures. That says a lot about what they mean by "used".

I feel KQ1st only works with Kira 1st but only when you add on the BtD head to break the colors up a little more. KQ1st with Kira 2nd is an odd mix and something I haven't favored for some reason. I know the colors for JJBA are always out there but they contrasted in such a way that it meshes with each other just right.

It fucks me up that Gyro probably won't have a grinning head, or if he does it will be too small to see his grill. This is frankly the ONE thing I want in a Gyro figure, and I am so disappointed that the Medicom RAH (which would have been the perfect scale to try it at) skipped on it.

I want to believe they can do it (though they will probably lock that head behind a WF exclusive) if they can nail decent enough printing to make the letters stand out.

Also, I noticed MFC has these clearer shots of Oda and something deep in me hopes they can reference his open teeth smile and find a way to scale the grill print to make it readable. It's not going to be shiny but if they put the effort it can work. Then again I'm being optimistic.

Though I'll have a hell of a time trying to see if I can make effects to replicate the spin on his shooting finger hand. Medicos can do effects relative to that character (Annasui's punches and kicks come to mind) but this is a much smaller scale. If anything Johnny is packing bullet effect parts like Mista that either attaches to his finger via clear plastic or smaller arms to attach them to.

It's not shit but Medicos improved articulation overall (going for joints on the shoulder pads is already a big +1) and the only reason people pass on is it is the headsculpt and color choice. If anything I wish they found a way to keep the body sculpt but have the Part 3 head as a alternative.

Dip the hands into a bowl of hot water for a few seconds and carefully work them into the wrist joints. Though you can also find something that could slightly widen the peg hole on the hands when they are softened by the hot water and place them in cold water to fix the peghole in its new shape. So recently I bought a Star Platinum off BST for 30 bucks, and when the package arrived today, I was surprised to also find a loose Josepht (with all accessories) the guy had thrown in for some reason.

Not sure if he did it out of general charity or just couldn't be bothered with fixing it, but the poor bastards leg is snapped at the ball joint.

Any recommendations to go about fixing this? Im probably just going to carefully apply a very powerful glue at the snap points and hope for the best. Worst case I suppose the left leg wont be super pose-able. What do you guys think?

Not that experienced with figinstock, only used it recently to cop a pink KQ. But from what I experienced, you select the websites you want figinstock to check, like Mandy, and type in the name of the figure/item you want. Due to the additional heads for those who bought Jotaro 1st I think unless I'm mis-remembering off the top of my head.

Even then, that was a special case and nowadays Medicos will just and only just, reissue 1st colorways while somehow ignoring some of the more desired 2nd and 3rd colorways.

Yeah, I previously bought the statue legend Yoshikage and Kosaku Kira figures from the seller, and they were both completely legit.
Kosaku Kira had some coloration damage on the back and Bowie Kira was missing his sandwich bag - Both things were well documented on the listing.
I've also purchased a few SAS accessories and extra heads and there is nothing so far that has caused me to believe that I've been buying chinese bootlegs.

I recently found actual SAS bootlegs on there (grinning Josuke heads) and you can definitely tell the difference in the awful paint job. Wish I could still find the listing but it seems to be gone now.

I've said this pretty heavily in Part 7 SAS discussion. If Medicos really cared enough Johnny will probably be the most packed SAS for accessories if they include Tusks and bullet effect parts for his fingernails. Though with the lack of stuff lile C-Moon-Made in Heaven and Weather Report is where I'm having doubts about Tusk Act 4 even seeing a release unless he gets a statue treatment and in that case I hope it's a good pose.

I feel White Kira is there if you want to headswap from either Kira 2nd or the Kosaku alt from WFKQ. I've rarely seen anyone really like the white hair Kira head. KQ1st sort of sits on whether if you like the simple whites, black and golds of the colorway. Though I think Medicos was just going basic for each release.

I know why it makes sense IN UNIVERSE but I hate that Kira is introduced with a really unique face, has it for one chapter and then gets it changed to Kosaku for the rest of the series. He's just not interesting

I agree on the Johnny, and can def see Tusk act 4 being done simply because he is a main Jojo. and on the topic of white Kira. Thanks to the anime I think white Kira is perfect for the BTD head as well. Kira second is perfect for the regular head.

I was talking more about just the figures themselves unless I mis-interpreted your statement then I'm sorry. Kira 1st to me was Medicos just going with a basic starting colorway but with the ways the other heads work so well with the white suit I figured that may be an intentional/unintentional outcome. Sort of like how Giorno 1st works with both WF Gold Experience and Gold Experience Requiem. No one just ever seems to use the white hair head of Kira unless they customize it to another color.

Love it! I'll have pretty much the same set up come next week sans Heaven's Door, black Highway Star Rohan instead of white, and BTD white Kira instead of periwinkle Bowie Kira. The CNBT poses work great.

It was cheap and Jotaro inst a favorite char of mine, and it didn't look that bad to me in the promo shots anyway.

Besides Jotaro's has plenty of poses that cover his face so i got options.
