With the figure, he knows where it came from and that it was sent by mistake.
You find crumpled up 20 on the street, you look around and see if anyone seems to be looking for it. But beyond that, what do you do? The first person you ask will say yes anyway, even if they aren't the one who lost it.

If it's in a place like a store, or a something, I'll take it to the front desk and turn it into the manager. If it's just in the street or something, I'll hang for a minute and see if anyone is looking around. If not, then I'd take it and go.

But I'm guessing on Link and Uniform Sakura's case is they made too many or collectors prefer the upcoming twilight version and magical girl costume of Sakura.

Also to add, Sakura w/o wand and cards kinda makes it not CCS-ish(The anime is all about capturing cards for goodness sake) so collectors probably got the OP ver since that includes those accessories. The Uniform version is kinda like a DLC for those who have the 1st version.

I don't buy many articulated figures so I can't comment in the grand scheme of things, but I have to say I'm really impressed by the way Zero Suit Samus' shoulders work.

The way they pop in to nearly hide the joint for the seamless bodysuit look in more relaxed poses and then pop out for more range of motion in action poses is really cool.

Welcome to figma 2.0 tech, that's the one thing I liked about the upgrade since it gives figmas a much wider range of motion enough for them to dual wield weapons such as swords with ease.

My first experience with that tech is with Saber 2.0 who I almost didn't buy since I already have the 1.0 but since I didn't have much preordered figure at that time I bought her from GSC w/ the bonus and boy was I glad I did because she is very fun to pose/play with. The lack of stability in the market definitely sucks to those of us with strict budgets who can't afford these big price jumps. Most shops frown on cancelling and even HLJ stresses that excessive cancellations can lead to account bans despite being more friendly. HLJ prices aren't the best on figma either and the cheaper shipping only partially bridges the gap if you're ordering 5-6 figures or more every 60 days. They also tend to close pre-orders early and go full MSRP after a few weeks so you can't sit on the fence with them or decide to get them later on.

That said HLJ is probably the best bet for those who might need to cancel things due to massive exchange rate shifts. HLJ is getting all my business lately because AmiAmi keeps threatening to ban my account like it's my fault an order suddenly got $50-100 more expensive and I can't afford it so I have to cancel a figure to pay for the rest.

The paint is gonna suck and the joints are probably bad or will cause the figure to be floppy. Plus other defects due to it being a possible factory reject of some sort.

Maybe worth somewhat as custom fodder or spare parts but just be wary of possible issues. Though I see what you're doing given the price tag the soldier has and getting a squad together is pricey. If anything I'd rather see how bad the actual bootleg is before even considering it rather than just seeing stock photos on a listing.

tamiya extra thin is so thin it works by capillary action and thus you only need to brush it over the seam. pretty cool, actually. it's thinner than water. but just make sure to hold it in place for like 30-40 seconds.

Right, the hand was looking solid after leaving the extra thin to dry for about an hour but heating it up with a hairdryer and trying to adjust it caused the crack to open up again. Seems like the heat undoes any glue applied. What should I do?

Anyone defending this is a moron. Yeah he's "bigger" but he's also hollow. Clearly it sold out because it was being made in ultra limited quantities which in turn is why it costs so much. However I don't know where the profit margin begins and ends, all I know is it's overpriced as fuck. Might as well be buying an Art of War statue at this point.

The sad thing is these selling well isn't going to get us more Berserk anyway. They will abandon the license after this.

You know, for army building, it's not a bad idea, even though the paint might be wonky, and the plastic lesser quality.
If the joints are crap, you can always grab a couple of packs of Hobby Base Slim joints from HLJ and replace them,
They work very well for Figmas, and are good, strong quality.

I had the same problem, I took a tiny piece of clear scotch tape and wrapped that part of the bow to thicken it up a bit, and my Madoka holds the bow fine now.

I'd say the opposite: that they're not high. Not only was the figma pretty much canned until the UBW anime, but it also got released before Saber 2.0 - and that has a reissue, whereas this doesn't.

I hope he gets reissued though. Would love to have another.
